So I have been working out some scenarios for the ShopRite deal for this week and next. I came up with a pretty good scenario however I decided that I was not going to use it for myself because I wanted to wait till the end of this week so that I could see what deals would be available for next week. Some of the things on the list that I made I really don’t need so I was going to just put my ideas to the side and wait. Then I thought, why don’t I share it with you guys and this way you can either use it or use it as a starting off point to make your own list. So here is my prelimary list.
Let me know if you come up with or find any items that others could use as well.
Remember you have to reach the qualifying amount after price plus and store coupons but before manufacturer coupons and you don’t have to reach the $120 in one shopping trip.

So this weekend I did a lot of grocery shopping. I hit Pathmark twice, ShopRite, Walgreens & CVS. All told I spent $72.94 which is below my weekly budget of $75. Got a ton of stuff and took advantage of a lot of sales. Here is what I got:
ShopRite: Spent $31.52 Saved $36.27
Pathmark: Spent $32.19 Saved $66.22
Walgreens: Spent $1.58 Saved $19.90
Did this in 2 transactions – the cookie mix were fillers
Started with $6 in RR and ended with $6 in RR
CVS: Spent $3.49 Saved $24.97
Did this in 4 transactions & got my 4 newspapers
Started with $17 in ECB and ended with $20.49 in ECB
Pathmark: Spent $4.16 Saved $15.80
Used the $3 Catalina I earned from the first Pathmark transaction

We had a very nice day today on the tour and it was so much fun to see the new stadium, monument park, sit right in the Yankees dugout and be able to walk right into the Yankees locker room. Years ago when we went we were able to take pictures in the locker room but that was not the case this year. I can tell you that it is pretty cool to be in there and see all their stuff lying around their lockers. They now have these vertical laptops that slide up so they can type while standing. We were told that they will sometimes communicate with fans via email or twitter before or after the game. Pretty cool, maybe they follow me on twitter too.

It will be quiet here on Living Rich With Coupons today.
Spending the day with my Dad as we make a trip to tour Yankees stadium. Looking forward to it. However, my own husband will not be joining us as he will be making the 3 hour drive back from Connecticut where my son was participating in a college baseball recruiting camp. What a Dad!!
I have, however, been working on some scenarios for the ShopRite deal going on this week that I will share with you. As well as working on our 1st giveaway in celebration of our new look. Of course I made some shopping trips this weekend where I did great and stayed under my budget for yet another week..woohoo! So stay tuned for all this great info!
