All I can say is WOW! There are so many great savings that my head is spinning. Where do I start?
Well how about that I went to ShopRite & Pathmark and spent $59.55 for everything you see above and saved $147.84 and I still have $20 to spend at ShopRite from the $40 Back Deal. And, after finding great deals and coupons while I was at Pathmark, I will be going back there tomorrow. Like I said, so many great deals.
Here is how this all worked out:
I made 2 trips to ShopRite. When I do things like that I keep a cooler in my car filled with ice so I can store items in there that need to be refrigeratored. My first trip was for ONLY the items in the $40 Back Deal. I like to do that so if there is a problem with the transaction (like I don’t get my ceritifcates) then it is easy to figure out since the whole order is for the deal. I wound up doing only $80 because as I was trying to get to the $120 I was realizing that I really don’t use those some of those items and it was pushing my OOP (out of pocket) too high and I wanted to stay on budget for the week. So, I stayed at the $80 mark and am quite happy I did. You can go here to see what I got and how it worked out. So I spent $35.51 (it was lower because I use reusable bags) and got back $20 in certificates to use at another trip. Plus I got a catalina for a free milk from buying the 3 Cheerios.
My second trip into ShopRite was for 4 Tuna (free with coupons), 1 milk (free with Catalina), 4 Aguafresh (free with coupons), 2 Classico Sauce ($.50 each with catalina). Total for this trip was $1.16
Now onto Pathmark. There I bought $15 worth of meat including the London Broil on sale for $1.47/lb, ground beef on sale for $1.78/lb and sausage that was on sale as well as a managers special $1.00 coupon. I also got blueberries, OJ, water, paper towels, J&J First Aid Kit ($.99 each – $1/1 coupon from the 5/17 Red Plum). Then I used the $5 off $40 coupon and the Stop & Shop $5 off $15 coupon. When everything was deducted my bill was for $22.88.
So to sum it up:
Spent OOP $59.55
Saved: $147.84
Received: $20 in certificates from ShopRite
Found: Great deals & coupons at Pathmark which I will post tomorrow after I make another trip there.
