Shopping At Aldi

About Aldi:The prices are great, the quality is very good, the store is clean and organized and you don’t have to buy in bulk like at Costo or BJ’s
.

Here are some things you need to know before you shop:

  • You need to bring your own bags. They do not supply them. If you forget them they do have bags there that they sell.
  • Make sure you bring a quarter for the shopping cart. You get your quarter back after you return the cart
  • They do not accept coupons and quite honestly you don’t need them. Their prices are so cheap.
  • They only accept cash and debit card.

I shop at Aldis at least once a week. We like their boneless frozen chicken tenders. they also have the best prices on cake mix, puddings, can products that sort of thing.

  • I started shopping at Aldi about 5 years ago, and go there regularly. I have found their products to be of excellent quality and unbelievable value! I highly recommend shopping at Aldi. Your family will be happy with the food, and your pocket will be thankful for the savings. Definitely worth the trip!

i go there when I need to get stuff in a hurry and dont have the time to sift through my coupons. they really are very very reasonably priced, but they have there own brands (no name brands) and their produce is hit or miss (meaning that they have seasonal items, not all produce at one time except for things like potatoes and onions etc). it is great value, i must say.

While yes for the most part they have “no name brands” I’ve found many of their products to be just as good if not better. Their mac and cheese is a prime example. It is only .29 a box and to me it tastes better than Kraft. Their saltines at only .89 a box is better priced and better tasting then shop rites brand of saltines. Milk and egg prices are great. Cereal prices stink. You are better off at regular supermarket with coupons. Honestly I find the best thing is to know what deals are happening where and keep track of your coupons. That way you are always getting your best deal. While I’ve heard Aldi has great produce the one by me stinks when it comes to produce. But I can travel just a bit farther to the farmers market and get better prices and better produce.

they’re the same company that owns trader joe’s. i often find the same products packaged a little bit differently … and for less money!
