Having a list of meals I know I have available to choose from keeps me flexible but focused at the same time.
Everything we are preparing for the week may not necessarily be something that I bought this week. I have quick a stockpile in my pantry and freezers that I can choose from.
Here is our flexible dinner menu:
- Chicken Cacciatore over penne (never made last week)
- Grilled Steak, Wacky Mac Pasta Salad
- Pasta w/ meatballs & sausage
- Homemade pizza
- Steak stir fry over rice
- Breakfast for dinner
- My family’s favorite Skillet Ground Turkey over rice

hey Cindy, Have you ever made Cheeseburger Pie using the Bisquick recipe? If you doctor it with some seasoning, it comes out delicious, even using ground Turkey. I add in a squeeze of ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, parsley. But you can tailor it any way you like. I have added salsa and used the Mexican blend shredded cheese for a change, and my friend has used BBQ sauce to add flare. I double the recipe and put it in a glass 9×13 casserole dish. Here's the recipe from Bisquick:http://www.bettycrocker.com/recipes.aspx/impossibly-easy-cheeseburger-pie
Thanks!! Sounds yummy. I will definitely try that.
