3 tbs olive oil
2 Bags Potato & Cheese Pierogies
2 onions – sliced
1 pkg Chicken Apple Sausage (I got this at ShopRite but they also have it at Costco) – sliced
Cook in electric skillet or fry pan.
Heat oil in skillet. On medium high heat saute onions till softened. Add sausage and cook until browned. Add pierogies. Stir until coated and mixed. Cover and reduce heat for about 15 minutes. Done!

I now know what I'm making for dinner tonight! Thank you!!
Melanie
I may try this one, too! Interesting, thanks!
Cindy,
Have you ever made home made pierogies? I want to try to, but don't have a good recipe.
Never made them. I bet it would be easy. Hey thanks for the link ups every week. I always have something to link about
Thanks for posting this! We made it for dinner tonight and it was awesome!
I know this may sound stupid but the pierogies did you defrost them? I usually put my frozen pierogies in a bowl of hot water and change the water a couple of times and then heat them in a skillet pretty much like you did but not with the sausage. That sausage is so good. I am sure that must be delicious. I will try it too. Thanks. Ok now what’s for dessert?
I just throw them in frozen and it works great.
Homemade pierogies are soooo good. I only make them once a year because they are so time consuming. When I do make them, I make a lot, they still don’t last long.
So those who love the frozen pierogies, have you had homemade before?
Do frozen taste as good? Where do you get frozen?
Thanks!
Whoops, I didn’t notice the year on these, sorry!!
I thought it was from 2 days ago, not a year
What flavor does everyone like the best? Personally, I have to cut the skin off of them. It seems a little too thick for me.
