Item # 2 (actually 2 & 3, they came in 2 envelopes) were my $10 debit cards for the ShopRite Back to School Family Fun Photo Calender Rebates for Kellogg’s/Keebler. See, I told you it was a good mailbox day.

I haven’t mentioned this in a while because quite honestly I didn’t know if I was getting them. I sent one in on 9/28 and one on 10/22 and I just received both today.

These calendars were from ShopRite and you have to buy 10 Kellogg’s, Keebler, Sunshine or Eggo products and you get $10 back (in 1 transaction). There are 8 different rebates that you can submit and it runs until 7/31/10 so it really gives you a lot of time to complete them. Of course you know I didn’t pay much for these items. As a matter of fact the one on 9/28 I paid $1.50 for all 10 and the one on 10/22 I already had made money on it as it was part of a catalina deal that I paid $2.60 out of pocket and got back a $5.00 catalina. So this $20 is pure profit. Nice!!

Another reason I haven’t mentioned it is because both of these rebates I submitted were not purchased at ShopRite. You all know I love ShopRite, but I gotta go where the deals are and in this case one was at Pathmark and one was at Acme. Being that I had not purchased these at ShopRite I was not 100% that I would qualify for the rebate. But, apparently I have, and my suspicions were correct…you don’t have to only buy them at ShopRite.

So here is the deal. I have 2 of these calendars left. They have not been around ShopRite in a while so I honestly don’t know if you can still get them. Way back when I was sending them to readers that requested one. Well, I have a feeling this time around a lot of you are going to want them especially since you can buy these products anywhere. In order to be fair, I’m going to treat this like a little giveaway. It will be very simple. Just leave a comment by tomorrow (12/15) at midnight (EST) and I will pick 2 random “winners” on Wednesday.
