Did you get a gift card or two that you just thought, gee how I wish I just had the cash? Well your wish has come true.
You can trade in your gift cards for cash at
Plastic Jungle. Now, you don’t get the full value of the gift card but at least you get a big chunk of it (up to 85%) and have cash in your pocket to do whatever you want with it instead of finding something you have to buy at that store you never shop at or that restaurant that is 100 miles away. Don’t worry, you can see how much you will get for it before you decide to trade it in. Also, you can exchange your cards to use at
Amazon.com where you can purchase just about anything.
And the best feature of all at
Plastic Jungle is you can also purchase gift cards at reduced prices. Let’s say you want to make a purchase at Macy’s that will be around $100. Purchase a $100 gift card through
Plastic Jungle for only $88 and you have already saved yourself $12 before you even used your coupons. You still have $100 on the card but you only paid $88 for it.
Other cards currently availabe to purchase at a discount:
- $50 Gap card for $45
- $15 iTunes card for $13.80
- $98 JC Penney for $87.22

Okay guys, it’s that time again. Time to introduce a new bargain site to you. This site is new but I have been sneaking it in during the week since I found it. I was trying to wait till today, but the deals have been so good that I couldn’t hold back.
The bargain site of the week is Daily Checkout. Like other sites, this one also has one deal they put out each day at rock bottom prices and they sell it till it’s gone or the end of the day, which ever comes first. The difference with this site and others is that their prices are super, super cheap and the items that they have listed are just great items. Like yesterday they had that Braun shaver for $39. Today, they have a Digital Camcorder for Dummies for only $29.99. Toys R Us & Etoys were both selling it for $69.99.
So checkout Daily Checkout. Their items change over at midnight each night and rest assured that if it’s a great deal, I’ll post it up here.

Sometimes when I go food shopping I just don’t feel like going. The thought of gathering up my coupons and writing up my shopping list is, well, boring. But then sometimes I am so excited about going because I feel like I’m going to score some great deals. And this was one of those weekends.
Now it wasn’t those catalina deals where you walk away with more money then you started with. Those don’t happen all the time. But it was one of those shopping trips that you squeal with excitement after you find out your total. Or is that just me? I’m sure I’m not the only coupon crazy squealer around. Come on, admit it, you squeal too. Here is why I squealed this week.
For what I considered to be a week that really didn’t have that many great deals, I think I did awesome. At ShopRite I was able to get $99.88 worth of groceries for only $31.58. Do I hear a squeal? Now mind you, there was 1 lb of $6.99 per pound turkey from the deli, 1 gallon of milk, 2 roasted chickens & 2 lbs of Tilapia in the mix.
So the joke in my house is that we have enough cereal to feed our entire town. The sad thing is, I probably could do that. However, when you have a son that eats 3 bowls of cereal a day, that town is really right in your own house. My can he eat a lot.
At Pathmark, I used a lot of their store coupons to score some really great deals. I wanted the pork loin that was on sale but it was gone by the time I shopped. So, I’ll be hitting Pathmark sometime during the week for the pork.
Here I spent $12.23 for $65.24 worth of groceries. Do I hear another squeal?
My totals for the week were $43.81 for $165.12 worth of groceries. Squeal, squeal!!
