For the international delight coffee, are you talking about the creamer or the General Foods International coffee? I think i missed the creamer one, if thats what you mean…
ugh…it's suppose to be the International coffee. Thanks for catching that.
Hey Cindy….onthe cellfire you say one coupon per item per transaction. If I go and do a second tranactiom will it work or so I have to "reload"? Or will it only let me do one tranactiom? Thanks for ur help
I am pretty sure that you can only to it once while the coupon is available. Once you use it I think it is gone until they change the coupons.
yes, the cellfire is only for one item in the one transaction. thats one of the drawbacks for us stockpilers lol
Cindy, The chex mix is a must buy 2. So .25 a bag with the cellfire. Thanks for the great site. Eric
Hey Eric,
Thanks for pointing that out. I'll correct it.
Holy nightmare, I gave shoprite another go this week figuring that I'd forgo any do not double coupons to avoid the "DND Drama".
Everything was going smoothly until the manager came over and examined all of my coupons. He "let" the cashier use my wet ones coupon but told him loudly in front of the customers waiting in line that the coupon was a counterfeit ugg. I pulled him aside after the transaction and let him know that it was a coupon that I downloaded directly from the manufacturer's website. He also told me that the coupon was already expired because the numbers at the bottom (which do read 1204 or something like that and do appear to be written over the other numbers) is the real expiration date. Has anyone else had problems with the wet ones coupon? I'm just curious if the manager is right, or if he's now labeled me as someone out to 'get' the company.
Thanks
K
The date you are referring to is the date that you printed the coupon not the expiration date. You printed it on 12/04/09. The expiration date is the date above the dot scan bar code. The line above that states "Do not accept without a dot-scan barcode below the expiration date". The dot scan is the barcode next to the price and below the real expiration date.
This is a regular bricks coupon which is a very standard coupon so there should not have been a problem. The only thing that should come to their attention is that the coupon is for more then the price of the product. If they register does not adjust it down then they would have to do it manually. Honestly, you should not have had a problem.
Thank you so much. I didn't want to assume that I was being singled out, but in all honesty, after last week's transaction I figured that's what was happening. I'm almost tempted to go back and explain to him what you just explained to me. Not only was it frustrating, but also embarrassing that he said I had counterfit coupons in front of another customer ugg. I'll definitely be headed to shoprite only on weekend days (he's the night manager) or will shop at the other one in town. Thank you again for your help. I love reading your blog.
K
your welcome. And thanks for reading. You guys are what makes the blog. If it weren't for you guys there would be no Living Rich With Coupons.
I had a problem with the Natrol Q because it was a PDF and she said it was photocopied. It printed out as a full sized paper q so it was huge. I told her it is fine to not accept the q but that it was indeeed printed by the Manu and not to accuse me of fraud. I printed them out regular q size and will try again tomorrow with a different cashier …will keep you posted;)
I can not use PDF coupons at my ShopRite either but there are many that don't mind. Although I'm starting to think there are less and less of them as they all become more rigid in their rules and regulations regarding internet printed coupons. I certainly can understand ShopRites point in not taking PDF coupons as it becomes hard for them to determine whether these have been copied or they are, in fact, printed directly off the computer. I am hoping more and more companies will not use PDF as their version of a coupon.
I think from now on I will list the coupon but make a notation that this is a PDF so that those that know they have problems with PDFs can skip over it.
like the doubling, the PDF will work at the self checkout – but because I sillily (sp.) went with a huge coupon (kind of like paying with one of those huge trophy checks) it drew red flags
Thank goodness for the night cashiers and self checkout
). For my free wetones, natrol, batteries and Kleenex woohoo
and some cheap Wingdings with overage.
I have noticed at shoprite and weis a new hitch…all cashiers have rung past it but the registers are stopping at a certain percentage of the total price being used for q's. Fir example it stops on coupons if it takes the total cost below about 50% FYI. I get that a lot because most shopping trips I don't spend over $1 OOP
Cindy thanks so much for this great site. I am so thrilled to find that there was someone out there that posted deals on Ship Rite since I shop there often. Is there anyway to post the deals for Shop Rite earlier during the week (Fri.Sat.) or earlier on Sunday morning? I try to get out of the house on Sunday before the kids are up and I hate going thinking I have all the coupons I need only to read your blog later that day and seeing that I missed so many other GREAT deals. Keep up the great work.
My goal is to have ShopRite up by Saturday night but sometimes that does not always happen. I will try to make sure it's up by Sat night for you early bird Sunday shoppers
