Pulling Expired Coupons? Send Them To Military Families

It’s the end of the month and a lot of coupons are expiring.  Before you throw them out, consider sending them to the Overseas Coupon Program for Military Families.  One of LRWC readers, Darlene,  is the coupon volunteer for Incirlik, AFB, Turkey Military Base.

You can check out this previous post which contains all the information necessary to send your expired coupons off to help our military families.

you may want to let folks know how much postage they need

    • Cindy

@teri, I guess that would depend on how many couons they send. I haven’t sent any yet so I don’t know how they calculate postage. If anyone can enlighten us that would be great.

Ther are NO families there. More than likely, single men and women in the military who are stationed there are not really into coupons. How about a base in Germany or Japan? I could see this being GREAT for military families overseas!

@Tara, One of the our readers is a volunteer for this base which is why it was chosen. If you can supply another base with contact information I would be happy to post that as well.

I am not trying to be offensive at all. I just wanted to point out- that the base is a very temporary station and families are not allowed. Being stationed there- myself, I could never imagine anyone using coupons.

@Tara, I did not take it that way at all. I just wanted to let you know why that was chosen and that I would be more then happy to add another if you had information. I am not familiar with things like this and value any information readers can pass along.
