Hi there,
i Live in the back mountain area of PA and I heard of a shop rite in Daleville and broadheadsville Pa.....does anyone from here shop there and do they double Q's up to a $1 or just double up to and including $1? (ex. $.75 doubles to $1.50 or $1.00?) also are these the same store or two different stores? i am also looking for a shopping and couponing buddy if your local. please reply..thanks

oh, one more thing, when i make a list, i did a few different stores, like target, cvs, shoprite, etc. and i had NO idea that all the lists would be combined when i printed them. i thought each store would print a separate list. is this a glitch or do i have to clear each list after i print it and start a new one. please advise.

Hi everyone, just wondering about about combining e-coupons at SR in general.....i realize policies differ but would love your insights.
1. will, for example, a Cellfire $0.75 off Total cereal, AND .75 off Total Shoprite e-coupon apply to the same one box of cereal for a total of $1.50 off?
2. will the above + a paper $0.75 off work on the same box for a total of $2.25 off?
I have a feeling #2 is a pipe dream but just had to ask.
BTW Cindy- This site is a treasure trove of info. Some people check facebook for updates every 10 seconds...i check here for new deals!!!!!!!!

My Shoprite will only double a coupon up to the sale price. I asked about this as I stacked some coupons for OstoBiFlex. I had 4 $7.00 coupons and then 4 $1.50 catalinas. The sale price was $7.99. The front end manager told me that I could not use all the coupons I had because I had to many. When I pulled out their coupon policy and showed her that I could, but there would be no overage, she did the transaction.
Please remember that each Shop-Rite is privately owned and they don't have a universal coupon policy. Each store can and does make it's own policy and can change them without any notice. First thing I do upon entering the store is go right to the service desk and review the policy. They often have to print on as they don't keepit on hand. Takes more time but at least then I know what I can and can not do.

Update!
I went to another S&S and did the same transaction using same coupons. Here what I got, all coupons doubled to shelf price except one which doubled to $1.76, in first store it doubled to only $1.08 . Deal price appeared before coupons and went up to $1.49 after coupons, it was weird, total just went up. I made calculations and what I think happening is coupon doubles to shelf price and overage does exist but can be applied only to same item, in my case 5th soda which did not have coupon. The remaining of overage goes to zero, this is why 4th coupon doubled less. I still do not understand why deal price does not apply in such cases, I mean coupons could just not be accepted when zero reached. Technically I wasted 1 coupon, I could get same results with only 3 coupons if deal price did not change. I will definitely keep this in mind next time.

I posted it in Store match but reposting it here, guess it is more appropriet place.
Just had a horrible experince at S&S. They have 5 for $5 Coca Cola this week and I was going to use (4) 99c coupons with that. There was suppose to be some overage so I had more items. 3 coupons dobled to $1.89 which is correct since it is shelf price and forth only to $1.09 which was wrong. Moreover, soda ringed $1.49 and not a deal price for 5. I went to CS and there were a snarky person who very loudly told me that I try to get money out of the store and this is why I get those prices and there is no overage, I pointed that I got overage already, so they do allow it but prices comming off wrong besides coupons. Anyway, I asked for manager and he gave me few reasons for this problem, that coupons should not reach sale price instead of shelf price, which is not true since 3 coupons went to shelf price, that I cannot combine coupons with deal, which is not true again and that store coupons cannot work together with manuf. coupons, which is not true again. Once again I was told that I am taking money out of the store and try to change their policy. By this time someone behind me started all this ” cheap idiot, $2 can make her richer” talk.
So, I had enough, I returned everything, got my coupons back and left.
I am not sure completely about overage with S&S but it did give me some, so I guess they do it. I have no idea why I actually had this mess, because none of their reasons were true. So disapointed.
So my question is, do they actually have overage and to which price sale or shelf coupon suppose to double, my store fully doubles all coupons up tp $1.
Thanks.

Tiffany, you can only use 1 manufacturer coupon per item. This is actually not a store policy but a restriction on all coupons. The coupons state, "COUPON LIMIT ONE COUPON PER PURCHASE". When ShopRite states that you can only use "4 like coupons" you still need to make a purchase of the 4 items. So buy 4 items use 4 coupons, 1 per item.

Thank you for reaching out to clarify it so that you can coupon correctly from here on out :)

Hi Cindy/Everyone - I need some help understanding SR policy. I am starting to think I have been "Cheating" but completely unintentionally.
How many coupons (like or different) are you allowed to use PER ITEM? The SR I normally go to has always just taken my stack of coupons and just scanned away..even when they wouldn't go thru the cashier would set them aside and when the front end manager came over they just stood there until they were all in (lots of over-rides I guess). I have been using up to 4 coupons per item because thats what I thought was allowed (and thats whats been happening the last 3 months since I started couponing). Yesterday - I had an issue- I was at a different SR location and had an issue. I was just picking up 4 or 5 items and 1 item was the Brawny Paper Towels on-sale this week. I had 1 coupon for $1 off any pack of 8 or more and another for .55 off a 6pk or more..both were printable. The cashier was new and of course only 1 went thru...so when the manager was called she said i was only able to use 1 coupon per item unless it was a SR coupon AND my printable. I would have had to purchased 2 packs of Brawny to use 2 coupons. I have a copy of the store policy and just like it states above says "we reserve the right to limit coupons to 4 like coupons per transaction" - doesn't say anything about per item and every other store(Target, Riteaid, CVS etc) is pretty specific.
I defiantly don't want to get anyone in trouble and I defiantly don't want to "Cheat the system" ...I just want to do whats right!
HELP!

I haven't heard that one yet, but since I don't have printer at home and go to the library to print my coupons, it's not worth it to me. My old printer is not compatable with my new computer. My Shop rite in Derby, CT always gives me a hard time about any coupons I use, even my catalinas. The manager and I are on a first name basis whenever I go to shop. There are other stores in the area, but their prices are not as good as Shop rite on most of the items I need at the time. Living on the budget I have to shop with, I have to go where I get the best deals.

My ShopRite in CT recently put up a sign that said that they would accept competitor's coupons. What does that mean? The local Stop 'n Shop has coupons in this week's circular that will double $1 coupons. Can I use these at ShopRite since they are in a competitor's ad?

Also, will they take the coupons that say Target or Kmart on them?

I couldn't believe my last trip to Shoprite in Derby! Osto-Biflex was on sale for $7.99 and I had a $3.00 store coupon and a $3.00 maufacturers and they would not let me use together. I stated that I have used them both in the past. The front end manager was really quite nasty about it. I asked for the store manager and was told he could not see me. I asked for a copy of the store's coupon policy and was told they don't have to give me one. If I didn't absolutely need some of my other items, I would have left the entire order there.. it was well over $150.00. I won't be going back to that store any time soon!
