30 Minute Chili

February 3, 2010

I just stocked up on ground beef so I pulled out my ground beef recipes.  This 30  minute Chili recipe is so simple as it has only a few ingredients.  Great for quick week night dinners.

We are making this on Sunday for the Superbowl.  And of course we’ll also be munching on Tostitos with melted cheese since I have so much.

Thirty Minute Chili

2 lbs. ground beef
1 large onion diced
2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes
2 (15 oz) cans kidney beans, drained
2 (1.25 oz) packaged chili seasoning

Brown the crumbled beef and onions in a large pot over medium high heat until brown. Drain. Mix the tomatoes, bean and seasoning mix into cooked beef. Reduce heat to medium and let cook for 15 minutes.

Serve with shredded cheese, crumbled corn bread or saltine crackers. Enjoy!
