Yeap, you see that right. There are $.55 peelies on the New York Texas Toast that are only $.88 at ShopRite right now. They do say DO NOT DOUBLE so keep that in mind if your store is one of the ones that will not let them double. But you still have the printable coupon I posted about and even if you didn’t double these you are only paying $.33 a box. Awesome deal!
(Thanks Elizabeth & Brenda for the heads up on the peelie!)

WOW! lucky. I just bought Texas Toast today, & my Shoprite did not have the peelies. But, there were some great deals with the Wed-Sat Price Break, especially the Post Raisin Bran for $1. I had 2 Post coupons for $1/2, so I got 4 boxes of Raisin Bran for $.50 each after coupons. And BTW, the Hormel Heat’ n’Eats are on sale for $4.99 with $1.50/1 coupons from the paper (I’m sorry, I don’t remember which insert!), so I got 2 for $3.49 each after coupons.
I just got this deal at Shoprite today. I got the last box of garlic bread (it was hiding on the wrong shelf) and it did have the 55c sticker on it (there were plenty of bread stick boxes left, but they didn’t have any peelies). I did have a print out coupon for it, but my store does not take SmartSource coupons at all, so I couldn’t use it. I sneakily pondered for a moment to go to the self check out and hope they didn’t see it. However, since it was a 50 cent coupon, it would have tried to double, unsuccessfully since the bread is only 88 cents and someone would have had to come and fix it, and then discovering my sneaky deed. So I decided against using the print out coupon — and then I discovered this peelie. Whew… I’m glad my criminal temptation was avoided.
Hi. I got one an advertising catalina from ShopRite the other day. It says-Now, Save even more-
Buy post cereal(10 oz or larger)
between 2/26/10 and 3/21/10
buy 4 and get $3.00
buy 5 or more and get $4.00
coupon off your next order.
This overlaps the post sale on Friday and Saturday!! If you buy five, the cereal comes to 20 cents a box!!
@Rosanne, yeap!! And if you had that holiday savings book they had out from Christmas, there is a $4/4 coupon in there. Thanks for sharing.
My shop rite won’t accept the texas toast coupons either..they said that a number of coupons from smart source have been fake…I didn’t see any peelies on the boxes..but bought some anyway @ 88 cents you can’t go wrong!
@Karen, karen, there is a way for them to tell if they are fake. Smart Source coupons have a pin number on them. If they have been printed from the smart source site then the pin number will be different on each one. If it is different, there is absolutely no reason why they should not take a smart source coupon. And I would let them know that.
I see the pin number and they are different….I will have to let them know that..thanks
I just got mine today! They actually paid me after they doubled my coupons!:)
