By now most of you that ordered the Free dog leash from Snapfish have received the email letting you know that they can not fulfill your order due to “the high demand has depleted our inventory”. And that they are offering a Free photo mug in it’s place. The only problem is, they are charging you shipping.
Well, reader Crystal let me know that if you order the Free photo mug, when you get to the billing screen there is an option for live chat with a Snapfish representative. They had her process the order and then they refunded her the shipping charge. If you are going to take advantage of the Free Photo Mug I would definitely take advantage of that.
So, now Fido won’t be happy but maybe Grandma will be happy with a picture of her smiling grandbabies on her coffee mug every morning

If you pick out any other item of the same or less value you can get that instead. Just go to live chat, explain the situation and ask for a credit for the item you want. Once you pay shipping go back to live chat and ask for a refund on the shipping because your original deal was supposed to be free shipping.
I think it is funny that the “FREE” leash was $19.99 regularly and they are offering you a $9.99 item as a replacement. I mean it is “FREE” but still!
