Update: No go on the free Malt O Meal.  I obviously can’t tell sizes because they were only as large as 12 oz. and the coupon is for 15 oz or more.  In case you are interested, they are only $1.04.  Still a good deal but not free…bummer!
Okay, this is an, I don’t have all the details post but I’m posting it anyway deal.  Yesterday when I was at Pathmark I noticed 2 big boxes of Malt o Meal cereal by the frozen foods. I was so busy explaining the Ellios deal to a couple that was there, that I never really paid attention to the cereal, although I can tell you that it was priced somewhere just above $1.00.  I remember that because I had thought quickly to myself that there were $.75/1 coupons that was available that would make them free.  But, again, I didn’t pay close enough attention.

Then this morning I find that the $.75/1 Malt O Meal coupons are still available (zip code: 60015).  The coupon says redeemable at Jewel but there is no logo so most likely you will not have an issue.  Plus, it’s a manufacturer coupon.  So, the whole point of all my rambling is that you may be able to score free bags of Malt o Meal at Pathmark.  The coupon is for sizes 15.5 – 23 oz and I would bet that the bags I saw fit in that size range.  Now, don’t go running there based on this post but I would recommend, if you are going anyway, to print out these $.75/1 coupons and have them just in case you find them there.

Let me know if anyone gets them so we can confirm that this all works out free because for all I know, this was all part of a dream I had last night
