ShopRite Match Ups 2/21 – 2/27

February 20, 2010

Wow, what a week. Lots of stuff going on this week so grab a cup of coffee and take a look cause here are your ShopRite match ups for the week of 2/21 – 2/27.

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price items have been listed here. Please check your circular for other items you might be interested in.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. If the first number of the coupon is a 5 then it will automatically double unless the cashier stops it from doubling. It will really depend on your store and their policies as to if they will allow these to double. If I know for sure that the coupon is a “Do Not Double” I will mark it with a DND.

Load up your Cellfire coupons directly to your Price Plus Card for even more savings. New Cellfire coupons come out Sunday so check back for updates.

Make sure to try out the new “Print Friendly” button on the bottom to make your own customized shopping list.

Note: Make sure to read the comments below for even more great deals and coupons submitted by so many of you awesome readers.  Thanks!  Enjoy!!

Wow, looks like a lot of good deals. I also saw that Butterball 93% ground turkey is on sale for $1.88/lb. There is a coupon at smartsource.com and on butterballs’s website for $0.75/1. I was able to print it twice from each site.

@Mickie, Woohoo! You are right. I’m adding it in. I can’t believe I missed that because I, personally, have been waiting for a good deal on ground turkey. It’s the one meat I’m missing in my freezer. Thanks!!

It looks like the .50/1 printable coupon for Oikos Greek Yogurt is for a 16oz and the shoprite flyer says 1.00 for Oikos Greek Yogurt 5.3 oz.

9 Cindy February 20, 2010 at 11:14 pm

@Ueen, Sorry, actually there is one that is $.50/2 for the 5.3 oz size. I put $.50/1 by mistake. I changed it. thanks for letting me know.

@Cindy,
There is also a .50 off 1 coupon in the Mambo Sprouts/Shoprite Extreme Winter Savings book (I found mine last week at the courtesy counter). I only took 2….now I wish I had taken more :)

Hi Cindy!

In your General Mills buy 15 get a $10 Catalina. Which item gives you the extra $5?

At the bottom of that deal scenario you get a $15 Catalina, sounds like a great deal :)

Thanks!

Reply

12 Cindy February 21, 2010 at 2:04 am

@Esmeralda, Hi Esmeralda, It’s suppose to be $10 not $15. Thanks for picking that up. When I was doing that one deal I kept getting a different number and I couldn’t figure out why. Well there you go…that was why. Thanks, I corrected it.

$2.00 each WYB2 juicy juice boxes $2.50-$1/2 IP

Deal idea:
Buy 10 64 oz juices
Use 5 $1/2
$20, less $5 coupons, less $5 catalina
Final $10 for 10 juices plus a bag. This is a good price for Juicy Juice…it never goes on sale for $1 a bottle.

Hi Cindy,

What does “Limit 4 Offers” mean? It is reflected below the Purex Laundry Detergent along with a statement “additional or lesser quantities will scan at 2 for 8″. Does it mean to say that I am allowed to get more than 4, say for example 6 and that price would be 12 for the 4 and 8 for the additional two?

Thanks for your help.

Ueen

Reply

20 Cindy February 21, 2010 at 9:08 am

@Ueen, The sale price of the Purex is 2 for $6.00 (must buy 2). That is an offer. You are limited to 4 offers so that would be 8 bottles. 4 sets of 2.

Marcal is the biggest air and water polluter in the state of New Jersey. They have been fined almost a billion dollars by the EPA, and do much more harm than good. They filed Chapter 11 to avoid paying for the clean up, and also used it as an opportunity to break their union contract. Nice guys, huh? Then when they emerged from bankruptcy, they painted themselves green. For them to claim to be a green, eco-friendly company is a joke, as well as a lie.

@Stephanie, I got them in mine and I live in NY. Maybe if you try buying them on ebay. I do that a lot if I can’t get a coupon or they are not in my paper. They are pretty cheap.

When I went to Shop Rite today, I got 2 extra catalinas for money off. One was for $2.50 form General Mills cereal. (I bought 3 boxes.) The second one was for 75 cents. I didn’t get a chance to read it before I turned it over to the cashier to pay for my second transaction. I did the Dole and the GM deals for the transaction when they printed.
I did well for my total shopping as well. I got 66 items for $69.64. Thats $1.26 each!!! Thanks again for your help. I just started couponing in January and I am catching on pretty quickly.

There is actually a free cereal deal that starts on Wednesday. Post Cereal is on sale for $1 a box (mostly sugary cereals, except Raisin Bran). Around Christmas, ShopRite published a coupon book (I forget the name because I tossed the cover a few weeks ago). In that booklet there is a $4/4 Post Cereals STORE coupon. If you have a manufacture Q, this could even become a $ maker!

Has anyone been to Shop Rite for the Catalina deals, purchase items described in the deal and nothing prints out? This happened last week to me and tonight. This week I went to a different check out counter as well. I had to go over to the courtesy counter the first time. They were very nice and printed everything out, but it is a pain in the neck to do this every time I shop. I have to go back to the store for my Catalina’s after the storm (had husband and son in toe tonight and they wanted to get home.)

Reply

36 Jenna February 24, 2010 at 11:14 pm

@Holly, that has happened to me sometimes but then i noticed that the machines are not always working. i always check to see if it’s on before i start especially if i’m suppose to get one. I have 2 stores by me and at one store they are never working right so I try not to go there when I have catalina deal

@Holly, there is a green light on the machine. if it’s on then it should be working. plus I always ask the cashier if the machine has been printing.
