ShopRite Match Ups 2/28 – 3/6

by Cindy on February 27, 2010

More Catalinas available this week.  Here are your ShopRite match ups for the week of 2/28 – 3/6.

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price items have been listed here. Please check your circular for other items you might be interested in.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. If the first number of the coupon is a 5 then it will automatically double unless the cashier stops it from doubling. It will really depend on your store and their policies as to if they will allow these to double. If I know for sure that the coupon is a “Do Not Double” I will mark it with a DND.

Load up your Cellfire coupons directly to your Price Plus Card for even more savings. New Cellfire coupons come out Sunday so check back for updates.

Make sure to try out the new “Print Friendly” button on the bottom to make your own customized shopping list.

Kellogg’s Coupon $1 for 3 – keep getting expired when I try to print?

Also, there is a $.55 coupon for Smithfield Bacon – not sure what date it was but probably SS. On sale 2 for $5.

@Claire, Sometimes the Red Plum printable act strange so I would try tomorrow. And the Smithfield bacon coupon is from the 1/31 ss. Thanks!! :)

Cindy, As usual the Shoprite ad confuses the heck out of me!!!! Couple of questions???

Are the other items listed below the Con Agra mix and match 10 for 10.00 section included, like the whip cream and the manwich ????

Also, do you think the Kellogg is a double cat dip??? These are the right sizes for the cat deal from about 2 weeks ago when the sizes were wrong!!!! Thanks!!!

Just a heads up to everyone. I stopped by Shoprite (main st, new city) to grab some of the 4 day deals and had to get rainchecks for everything. The CSR told me no trucks due to weather. I don’t know what will be in stock for this weeks sale, might be better to go mid-week although there is suppose to be a storm Wed. !!!!

Reply

Cindy February 27, 2010 at 9:59 pm

@Eric, Hey Eric, I’m taking it as the items 10 for $10 are mix and match, the items 2 for $4 are mix and match & the items 4 for $5 are mix & match. Everything below is not included in the mix and match prices.
BUT… there is nothing that says what the price would be if you didn’t buy 10 of the items listed, or 2, or 4 depending on which mix and match you are doing. So that leads me to believe that you could buy1 item from the lists and not be charged a higher price. I hope I explained that right.
And, they all work for the catalina deal.

For the Kellogg’s catalina double dip. You are right!!! That should work. I had forgotten about that. All the sizes work. Here is the deal. I’ll add it to the match ups. http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/category/shoprite/page/2. Thanks, great find!!

Here’s two more I found:

Barber Chicken Cordon Bleu $2.99
Use $1/2 from 2/28 SS.

Reply

Eric February 27, 2010 at 10:23 pm

Cindy, Sorry to do this to you!!!! Only 4 out of the original 6 will work for the double cat. The Cocoa Krispies and the Honey Smacks are not in the weeks sale. The 4 that count for the double dip are

Frosted Flakes
Apple Jacks
Fruit Loops
Corn Pops

Cindi,

On your Crystal Light deal, you show only 5 Crystal Lights purchased. To get the $2 price, you must by 2. So, you would need to buy 6, not 5.

Hi Cindy…I have a question on Shoprite’s coupon policy…do they accept competitor’s coupons? I will kick myself if they do because last week’s Oikos Greek Yogurt sale for .99 could have been free with the current Whole Foods Printable coupons.

Reply

Cindy February 28, 2010 at 8:52 am

@Lori, Hey Lori, Most ShopRites do not accept competitor coupons. However some of the “competitor coupons” are really manufacturer coupons with other store logos on them and some ShopRites may take those. If the coupon UPC starts with a 9 or a 5 most likely it is an manufacturer coupon. Not sure about the Whole Foods coupon you are referring to though.

Did the Crystal Light deal today…double cat printed no problem. 5 canisters @ 2$ each
$10 less $5 Kraft cat and less $4 Crystal Light cat. OOP $1 plus a free bag ! Now my question is…can I do it again, or is it one promo per ShopRite Price Plus card?

Reply

Ueen March 1, 2010 at 1:47 pm

@Cindy,

Cindy,

I bought six boxes of individual servings of Crystal Light and I did not get the $5.00 catalina nor the free reusable bag. I however got the other $4.00 catalina. I verified with the customer service manager and she gladly gave me the $5.00 catalina after scanning my price plus card. I just did not ask for the bag.

Also, I saw a “Taste of Home!” flyer near the store exit and it has a coupon for free Quaker Instant Oatmeal Express 1.9 oz cup brown sugar or apple cinnamon. Requirements are; your price plus card, the coupon and an additional purchase of $10.00 or more.

Thanks again for your efforts in posting these great deals for all of us.

Do you know if you can get 2 catalinas for the same deal in 1 transaction? For example, if I buy 10 of the yogurt products instead of 5 will i get 2 coupons? Never tried it, but if it works i will this week!
Thanks for the match ups!!

@Rebecca, Rebecca, not sure. Sometimes they have worked and sometimes no. Hopefully if someone tries it they will post here and let us know if it worked or not.

Thanks for all of your great deals. I went to Shorite and did the deal with the Dannon and Dactivia Yogurts for my 2 boys and for me as well. We are well stocked up on yogurt which they love. Also did the Lysol Deal and the one with the Hunts Puddings and Hunts Sauces. FYI my shoprite didn’t take the coupons from the save a lot site because the coupon didn’t have a website on it. Oh well. still got some good deal. and $11 in Catalinas and 3 more reusable bags!

@Cindy, Hi Cindy, Thanks so much for the advice. I was told at my store that the catalina would only print once per customer. I was afraid to trey it twice, and then have to back everything out if it didn’t work, I’ll be a ShopRite every day this week!

Good thing we live in different states or we would be clearing the shelves ourselves:)

I bought 6 canisters of crysal light tonight and only got $5 catalina. I wanted to go to customer service to ask, but didn’t know what to refer to. Any suggestions?

Reply

Cindy March 1, 2010 at 10:23 pm

@Kerry, Bummer. They are printing I know that for sure as I got mine tonight as well. I can tell you that the $5 and the bag catalina print out once they are scanned. The $4 prints out once the cashier processes the order so you have to make sure you wait for it.
The catalina deal was advertised on previous catalinas that printed out. You can tell them that and that they are absolutely printing. What they may want to do is try it at the customer service counter as a test run so they can see.
This is what printed out on the catalina:

There’s a $1.50/2 Kelloggs cereals (included are the 4 qualifying for the double dip Cats). It only prints 1 per computer, but if you have 2 computers…free cereals after CATS! Or use a $1.50/2 and a $1/3 for $.50/5 cereals…or $.10 each!

@Cindy, FYI, they sometimes have problems on Red Plum when new coupons come out. So if you can’t get it to print try later. I will post it later when the coupon prints well. thanks for the info!!

Hi Cindy…I have a question on the zip lock bags included in the SC Johnson cat deal.

Will the $.55/1 from the 2/21 SS for zip lock “Slider Bags” work for the regular storage bags that are included in the sale? If not the 1/10 ss has $1.00 off any 2.

@vicky, Vicky, After I click on special offers, I am unable to enter my email address using Safari or Firefox. It won’t type and it not working right. Any tips? Sounds like a great coupon… thanks.

Also this week at Shoprite, they are some deals on Pillsbury’s “Bake-Off” promotion. They are on sale, buy 4 get a $1 catalina, and I have lots of Pillsbury coupons to choose from, too, though I am so sorry I don’t remember which inserts they came from. Maybe someone more organized would know! I am new at this, but here’s the deal I am going to try tomorrow…
2 Pillsbury Cinnamon Rolls @ $1.88
-$.55/2
2 Pillsbury Pizza Crusts @ $2.49
-$.35/1
-$.35/1
Pay: $6.34
Get a $1 catalina
Final Price = $1.34 ea wyb 4
**This would be cheaper if you got the Grands Biscuits or more cinnamon rolls, but I need the pizza crusts. Still a good deal!**

Did the Texas Toast Crouton coupon expire? I can’t find it and I think its because it expired. I love your site.

I printed out the $1.50/2 Kellogg’s coupon from the Red Plum site. The coupon is only for Frosted Mini-Wheats, All Bran, and Raisin Bran. None of the cereals listed on the coupon are the ones up for the double cat deal this week, the Frosted Flakes, Apple Jacks, Fruit Loops, or the Corn Pops. Did the coupon get changed midweek or did I print out the wrong one?

@Chris, The best coupon there is right now is the $1/3. I originally thought it was for Frosted Flakes but since I couldn’t print it I didn’t know for sure. Then I found out. so the only coupon I can find right now is the $1/3
