by Cindy on February 22, 2010

Here is our first SHOW ME YOUR BEST DEAL.
This is from reader Krys who took advantage of the General Mills Buy 15 Get $10 deal this week at ShopRite.  And, there was a bonus catalina on the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks.
Here is Krys’ BEST DEAL:

I purchased:
4 boxes Cheerios (2/$5),
4 boxes Chex Mix bars (2/$5),
4 boxes Nature Valley Bars (2/$5) and 4 boxes BC fruit snacks (2/$4)
-(4) $1 Cheerios coupons
-(4).50/1 Chex Mix coupons (they doubled)
-(2) $1 NV coupons
-(2).50/1 NV coupons (they doubled)
-(4) .4/10 BC fruit snacks (did not double)

Combined that with some other purchases to qualify for a $10 off $75
coupon that I got in the mail from them. (Cindy’s Note: So jealous on that coupon!)
-$10 Catalina from last weeks Quaker deal
Total before coupons: $80.07. (that included other groceries as well)
Total after coupons: $34.64. Yay!
And received a $10 register reward PLUS a $2.50 one for the fruit snacks and 2 free tote bags.

Going back for 6 Clorox bleach @ $1.69 for a total of $10.14, using
$10 rewards from this deal, will get $5 register reward. This was
fun!

Our Shop rite will not let me use the 10.00 coupon on 75.00 until after all of the other mfg coupons go thru so I can never bring my order that low. :(

I would take that up with the manager. I looked carefully at the coupon, and it did not state after mfg’s coupons. They gave me no problem at all. They get paid for all of those mfg. coupons, so I don’t see why it would matter.
I planned this trip very carefully to get the full value! I handed her the coupons, but let her know the $10/$75 had to come off first. She was super impressed with my savings. In fact, when the Catalina’s came out ($10, $2.50 and $3), she said to me: This trip didn’t cost you anything!! LOL
