I am actually going to try this myself tomorrow because my daughter, Megan, is playing at Villanova University and we were back and forth on if we were going to stay overnight on Friday night as we didn’t want to spend the money on a room right now. But, if we can get it for a penny, I think that is in our budget. Here is the deal.
Red Roof Inn is having a penny sale. You can get a room for a penny between 4/1 – 4/15. And here is the catch. There is only 1 room per day per participating Red Roof Inn. You have to book online starting at 12 pm EST. Rooms are available 48 hours in advance but they begin booking tomorrow, 3/31. So tomorrow at noon, you can try for 4/1 & 4/2.

Here is a wonderful opportunity to visit your local (or non local if you want to travel) National Park for free.
During National Park Week which is 4/17 – 4/25, there will be free admission to all National Parks. There will also be additional family friendly activities and special offers on tours, lodging, food and souvenirs. And, if you go on Junior Ranger Day, Saturday 4/24, each child participating in Jr. Ranger activities will receive a free certificate, pin and patch.

Well this is a fun one. This is definitely for the comic book lover or wait, better yet, split this apart and use them for lots of kids birthday gifts. That would make for some super frugal, super great gifts.
