ShopRite Match Ups 3/7 – 3/13

March 6, 2010

Here are your ShopRite match ups for the week of 3/7 – 3/13.

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price items have been listed here. Please check your circular for other items you might be interested in.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. If the first number of the coupon is a 5 then it will automatically double unless the cashier stops it from doubling. It will really depend on your store and their policies as to if they will allow these to double. If I know for sure that the coupon is a “Do Not Double” I will mark it with a DND.

Load up your Cellfire coupons directly to your Price Plus Card for even more savings. New Cellfire coupons come out Sunday so check back for updates.

Make sure to try out the new “Print Friendly” button on the bottom to make your own customized shopping list.

So, I’m going to comment here and say that it is a quiet week at ShopRite but after the last 2 weeks deals, I think we bought enough stuff to last a while. I just finished up my final round of shopping the deals and I can’t wait to share them with you tomorrow. I have to admit, I squealed when I was done :) Hope you all squealed too!

@Cindy, oh, i I squealed too!! This was a GREAT week. The guy in line behind me didn’t like me too much because I had what felt like a thousand coupons, but oh well!! My bill dropped from $140 to $75 and I walked out with $16 in catalinas for this week!! And think i will be fully stocked with shoprite bags, i got 6 bag coupons lol.
Thanks for this site!! it has changed the way I shop!!!!

Hi Cindy,

If this will repost twice, I apologize. I am not sure whether I submitted my first post.

Sorry to bother you with this question. In regards to the “Munch Mania – spend $@20.00 and get $17.00 worth of check out coupons” on page 4CBMP of the circular, do you have any idea how Shoprite determines the $20.00 spending? Is it prior to deducting the coupons?

There is a $1.00 coupon for Ritz Munchables when you become a fan in FB.

Thanks.

Ueen

@Ueen, I’m not sure since I’ve never seen this kind of deal before. My guess is that is is like the others and is pre price plus. I didn’t put it in my regular ShopRite match ups because I was trying to find out more info on it and didn’t want to hold the regular match ups from posting.
I’m working on it both ways and I hope to have it up by morning

@Cindy,
Cindy,

You are right the “Munch Mania” $20.00 spending is determined prior to deducting the coupons.

I bought 4 planters honey roasted nut (2.49 x 4) less 2 $1/2 any planters nuts coupon and 4 oreo cakesters less 4 $1/1 oreo for cakesters coupon for a total of $15.92 and I got my 5 check out $17 worth coupons.

Thanks.
Ueen

@Ueen, now the question is, does it work before or after price plus prices.

9 Ueen March 7, 2010 at 4:14 pm

@Ueen,
I gave my price plus card prior to the cashier ringing up these items. Does it mean to say that it is working after price plus prices?

FYI I just printed the Country Crock coupon and it is for $.40 off not $.50. :)

Does anyone know what the $17.00 in checkout coupons (catalinas) are for? Are they specific to purchasing certain items or are they just for $3.00 off any cracker/cookie/coke purchase?

Hello Cindy,
I have a question. If I want to use .75/1 crest toothpaste coupon and they say limit 4/variety. Since my store only doubles 4 coupons, if i take 12 toothpastes @ 4/variety. Can I give all 12 coupons and still be doubled ? usually I do 4 per transaction but it is a little inconvenient because I have to go back and forth to my car and then come back. I would like to know if there is another way to do it. Thanks Cindy !

14 Cindy March 7, 2010 at 6:06 pm

@vicky, Most ShopRites will only allow you to use 4 of the same coupons but I would check with your ShopRite to see. I just had to do the same thing with my 20 Bumble Bee coupons. I wound up doing it over a few day at a couple of stores. Kind of a pain but worth 20 Free Bumble Bee tuna.

I travelled over the weekend and neglected to buy my two-three newspapers that I normally buy :(

I know you have posted before about buying individual coupons on e-bay. Do you have any experience getting your hands on the entire inserts after the fact?

Thanks for your help, as always!

17 Cindy March 8, 2010 at 8:21 am

@, yes I have bought full inserts many times on Ebay as well. Just search Smart Source inserts 3/7 and you should get list.

You can also purchase whole inserts on Coupons and things by dede. Very reliable!

19 Rachel March 11, 2010 at 1:35 pm

@kelly ronca, you can also look around at local restaurants or gas stations… there is a restaurant near me that saves the previous week’s papers and sets them by the door for free. I try to drive by and pick up 3 or 4 each week.

I have a few questions/comments about the Munch Mania deal this week.

First, on the bottom of the circular page, it reads “Qualifying purchases are calculated BEFORE taxes, bottle deposits, and the face value of coupons and after the SR store coupons, SR price plus deductions, and any doubled and tripled value of mfr coupons.”

So, it seems like it is taking the amount after the price plus deductions, but before all those $1 coupons.

Second, does anyone know if teddy grahams are in the cracker category since they are called graham “snacks?” I have the $1 off 1 Nabisco cracker coup. Didn’t know if the teddy grahams count as crackers.

Thanks!

21 Cindy March 8, 2010 at 5:07 pm

@Chris, Sometimes it will work before price plus deductions. Everyone that has done it has told me their transaction and they did it based on sale price. So no one has confirmed it any other way. But, it will definitely work before coupon deductions.

That’s a good question on the Teddy Grahams. Crackers or snacks. Hmmm? Anyone have an opinion on that one?
