Okay, so I just had to share my excitement.  I know those of you that have Super Targets that carry fruits, veggies and meat won’t be so thrilled by this.  But around New Jersey those kind of Targets are few and far between.  So, when I was at Target yesterday I saw the sign above.  I almost ran up to it and hugged it but the construction workers right next to it might have called security on me so I gained my composure and took a picture.  Okay they thought that was weird too but oh well, I needed proof.

This is what I found out about this great new feature coming to a bunch of non Super Targets.  This is Target’s new PFresh grocery concept.  PFresh stores will include an array of perishable and frozen foods, meat, and dairy products. They do not have an in-house bakery or deli, but carry a small number of baked goods and pre-packed deli items. The PFresh concept will be rolled out across 350 stores, either by remodel or as new store openings, by 2010.

As of now I don’t have a list of the stores that will become a PFresh store but I do know that my store says Fresh Groceries are Coming.  Yay!!
