so bummed….i went to sr in livingston tonight and tried using the coupons for solo cups and jack daniels sauce and they would not take them. they actually showed me the coupons from behind the desk to show that they are not taking them. i told them to keep the stuff and left.i hope they are not going to start refusing interet coupons.

When I tried to use internet coupons at Livingston SR, they told me that they never take them. I checked at the courtesey counter and they said the same thing. (They gave me a hard time about a coupon I got in the mail because I answered an online survey to get it.) Have you been able to use online coupons in the recent past?

I am becoming very frustrated with shoprite, which is unfortunate because my famiy and I have virtually stopped shopping at big box marts, and our shoprite is locally owned, which is great! The last few times I’ve been at shoprite, they’ve done a big show of going through every coupon and calling managers over to make sure they can use the coupon. (I wouldn’t mind this so much but some cashiers have been down right rude, as if I’m doing something wrong). Then last night, I wanted to use some coupons before the sale ended so I went to another girlfriend’s shoprite in her neighborhood since I was in the neighborhood. They would not let me use the honest tea coupons because they said it was “photocopied” and that the coupon did not have a website listed on it. I tried telling them I had gotten the coupon right off of the manufacturer’s website!! These were printed off in color off of MY PRINTER, not photocopied, and frankly I was quite put out that someone would think I would go to the trouble of trying to steal a 16oz drink bottle.

By the sounds of it, it seems Shoprite has really upped the anti on verifying coupons. I understand that they need to be vigilant, but they do not need to be rude or blame people for photocopying coupons when it just isn’t the case. *sigh* (ok, off of my soap box now… LOL)
@Lexy, At your local shoprite, do your coupons actually scan at the register or do they have to manually punch it in? At the local shoprite here I have never had an issue with internet coupons.
If they aren’t scanning at the register, than might be an issue with your printer.
My Shop Rite had a lot of the Tostitos tear pad coupons left…buy 2 tostitos, get a free salsa…so the deal would be :
Buy 2 Tostitos $2.00 each (must buy 2), and get the salsa for free.
Pay $4.00 for all 3, making them( $1.33 each ( a little cheaper than with the other coupon)
Eileen, I can’t reply above so I am putting the answer here. There is no reason you can’t use internet coupons at the Livingston ShopRite. They take coupons as long as they have a website, an address and an expiration date which 99% of the coupons I post on here do. They will not take a PDF coupon so I never use PDF coupons at Livingston. I use IP coupons ALL the time there and never ever had a problem. Yes they look them all over but they always take them. I used them just late last night. I’m really not sure why you can’t use them.
I had a great shopping trip and lots of Catalinas to use today, including $15 in Con Angra ones from a few weeks ago that are good this week only!! All in all $130 worth of groceries for $26! The only thing I had to buy full price is Benadryl cream because my poor 2 year old got bit my a mosquito and his highly allergic. a large portion of his face is swollen pretty badly right now
I wasn’t going to run home and get a coupon for that.
FYI Wheat Thins are on sale 2 for $5 at Shoprite this week, if you become a fan of them on Facebook you can print 2 $1 off of 1 coupons, making them 2 for $3, or $1.50 each, My samples from Kraft came with Sun Dried Tomato Wheat thins and they were great! I’m going to have to snag some!

Has anyone tried the schick catalina deal? it looks like it is the disposable razors not the schick quattro woman’s razor
@Kristin, I tried the schick catalina and I was able to get two $2 catalinas in one purchase. I bought 4 of the disposable razor packages (3 in one pack). I was also concerned about the disposable verses the single razor but disposables were the only ones on sale and they worked.

FYI, if you printed off the $0.60 off any 2 liter Dr. Pepper a few weeks ago, the 2 liters DP are on sale @ Shop Rite- 4/$4. I was able to get 4 free after coupons!!
Shoprite at Rio Grande also gave me a hard time over Internet coupons. The customer service people were rude and would not let me use them. Finally a manager came over to sort out the problem.
