  • Kathy

Hi I just wanted to let you know that the Ban link did not work for me and the third Ronzoni link offered no more coupons either. Thanks for the rest of the list. God Bless!

  • Denise Warren

I don’t know about your store, but mine just recently changed their coupon policy to “only one coupon per item, the value will be multiplied for “identical” coupons UP TO 4 identical items” so pretty much, I can only use 4 *of the same coupon* per item (they will not let you do different transactions!) I wrote the company an e-mail so we’ll see what i recieve back! I was about to cry when i foud out i could only buy 4 chinet plates (i had 18 coupons…because there were peelies on 8 plates!) I can’t begin to tell you how upset I was! My family gets by; by couponing and to know that I am limited like this drives me crazy! ****they state the reasoning is because the manufacturer will not give them all the money back!*****

    • Cindy

@Denise Warren, Limit of 4 has always been the policy at my ShopRite and I think a lot of ShopRites. If I have more coupons I will usually bring my husband along to do a separate transaction or go back another day.

      • Denise Warren

@Cindy, wow i never had that problem at my shoprite!! they now say that they will not let you go back another time during the week, that it is per price plus card now….not sure how true that is!!

        • Cindy

@Denise Warren, I’m willing to bet that you can go back either that day or another day. I can’t see how they can control that through the registers. Give it a try with 1 coupon item that you had already purchased “your limit” on and see what happens.

        • Robbie

@Denise Warren, I know for a fact that it is not per price plus card. I work at the Shop Rite in Mount Laurel and the only thing stored in your price plus card info is your transaction history. The only way your price plus card will get “flagged” and looked into is if it is used more than 3 times in one day. Now, if you let another customer use your card, they won’t look too much into your history. However, if they saw 5 (for example) transactions of just 4 chinet plates per order, they might get suspicious. You would be suprised at how many people come to our store, buy a lot of the same item, and then resell them in their own store. That is the main reason they watch the number of transactions per card. Hope that helped!

        • Crystal

          @Denise Warren,
          denise, cindy and robbie,
i used to buy the newspaper at the gas station accross the street and everyweek i thought there where no coupon inserts. turns out he was taking the inserts from all the papers and using them to fill his stores! i actually saw him at shoprite buying the same soap i was except massive amts of it!

  • http://citysaver.blogspot.com Kari

    Hi Cindy,

I just wanted to thank you for posting the Al Fresco deal last week. I was able to pick up 11 packages over the past two weeks (now I just need a chest freezer:) I also wanted to let you know that my ShopRite had tearpads for the Reynold’s recycled aluminum foil! They read “Try Me Free with mail-in rebate” (value up to $3.29) and are valid through 12/31/10! They were right next to the foil.

I also wanted to mention that feline pine cat litter is on sale next week for $2.74 and I’ve received a catalina each time I’ve checked out for the last 2-3 weeks for $2.00 off any size feline pine, making the box just $0.74! This is a great deal for an all natural litter.

Thanks as always for a great list of deals!

    Kari

Thanks for the great list. An FYI: The La Yogurt Coupon expires today, so unless your store accepts expireds, you may not be able to get the yogurts for .15 ea.

    • Cindy

@, Ah shoot, I missed that. Thanks for the heads up. I’ll change the post.

  • audra

it has always been 4 coupons per item per transaction – I just go back later that day or during the week. There is no way to enforce it. It is annoying though.

  • Kristine

Is anyone else not getting the P & G inserts in their paper? I bought 3 Asbury Park Press and no P & G insert….last month I didn’t get one either! I have the redplum and SS. Very disappointing!

    • Linda

I received the P & G coupon insert in the Asbury Park Press yesterday. I know , it can really be annoying not getting all the coupons!!!

  • Michelle

    @ROBBIE,
i SHOP AT THE mt LAUREL STORE ON ARC RD AND 38. That is the only store really in the area that actually keeps the shelves stoked up. Also Shoprite has always been 4same q per transaction! My store also lets you do more then one transaction, as long as they dont suspect you as reselling. Many stores in my area have kicked groups of people out for clearing all shelf’s. I like the fact they put a limit just for this reason. People who live out of state come over here to the Acmes and shoprites buy everything, have multiple cards and resell. They take from those here who actually need and want the product for their familys! Love the site Ty for all your great MATCHUPS weekly

  • Gina

Wow!…My shoprite was just telling me about the reselling issue but also said they accept 4 coupons per item and can not stop me from coming back in later that night or another day to use the other 4 coupons for my alfresco sausages…I had 8 coupons they let me use four and so i just went back that night and purchased 4 more…My shoprite is pretty good with the coupon policy!

    • Robbie

@Gina, Yeah, typically ShopRite will let you either split your order, or come back later if you want to want to use more than 4 coupons. A lot of it depends on the cashier you go to and who is running the podium at the time. I know we have one podium person who will not let you split orders at all, and another who doesn’t really care. As for the reselling, yeah it’s always funny when I stop in a gas station and see some 12-packs of Pepsi that still have the B.O.B (Bottom of Basket) paid stickers on them. You would think they would at least remove them lol.

      • Rebecca

@Robbie, does your store do a “true” double?? I am hoping to find a shop rite around here that does. I go to the cherry hill store but would drive a little further if it meant getting my coupons doubled over a dollar!

        • Robbie

          @Rebecca, I wish Rebecca. Unfortunately we don’t.

  • Melinda

Where can I get SS or RP coupons from a few weeks ago? Some of these deals say use RP coupon 4/17 or 5/23 for example but where can I get those coupons? Thanks!

    • Anonymous

@Melinda, Hi! You can find alot of previous inserts on ebay. Just type in 4/18 Redplum or whichever you are looking for. Hope that helps!

  • Stacey

Wow. What buzz about coupon usage at Shoprite. I have 4 within 20 minutes of me, near of Philly, so I just jump in the car and go to the next one. Especially, when I don’t hear what I want to hear regarding coupon policies, they are all individually owned and operated.

If I’m not happy in Philly, I do my shopping down the shore in Rio Grande, when I’m there.

  • Terri

The Scotch Brite coupon is $1/2, not $1/1.

  • Maria

Just a heads up, I got an email yesterday titled “Special Savings on ShopRite Organics”
It stated that when you use your club card you can save $3 on ShopRite brand Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil 17oz bottle and/or get 1 pint of ShopRite brand organic grape tomatoes for free.

I’m not sure if this email went to regional areas, but check your email inbox or spam folder just in case.

  • Colette

Hey… I’m a coupon fanatic and wanted to say thanks for all the great info that you compile each week. We just moved to NJ from Vegas and I was worried I wouldn’t find a good coupon blog for our new area, so I was thrilled when I found you! I just printed off a ton of coupons and can’t wait to get to the store. Thanks!!

    • Cindy

@Colette, Well welcome to NJ. And you’ll be happy to know that this was actually a quite week at ShopRite. Some weeks the deals are awesome. Happy shopping!!

      • Lexy

        @Cindy,

        Yes, welcome to Jersey Colette!!
Maybe some day we can have a living rich with coupons reunion for the locals, and get to thank Cindy in person, hahaha ;)

So funny Cindy, I was thinking the same thing, what a quiet week@ Shop Rite. (Not complaining, been working on eating stuff out of my freezer for more free Luigi’s water ice! hahaha)

        • Cindy

@Lexy, ah that actually may happen. I’ve got something up my sleeve but I’ve got to get through my son’s graduation this week first. So keep your eye out for some news next week. I may be visiting a town near you soon. That is all I am saying for now. You’ll have to wait and see ;)

          • Colette

Thanks for the warm welcome. So far we are loving it here and I can hardly keep the kiddos inside (I have 4 under age 10). Just wanted to say that the deals here, even on an apparent “quiet” week, are WAY better than what I ever got out West! :) My trip to ShopRite this week yielded me $185 in groceries and I only spent $75. And if that’s a quiet week, I can’t wait to see a good one! Wow! Thanks again for all the matchups… I appreciate your time so much! :)

          • Pat

@Cindy, Oh Cindy, can’t wait to hear the news!

It’s nice to see other women here from South Jersey. I shop at the Medford Shoprite, and they don’t always have the same Catalina deals. But I’ve always been very happy with the customer service. And I’ve had cashiers tell me that I was their hero. How awesome is that!? Thanks for all your hard work, Cindy! I use it every week.

  • http://cathie-aroundtheblock.blogspot.com Cathie

Also, about the missing inserts…..My husband delivers the NY Daily News and the Times of Trenton. I noticed that there are usually only one set of inserts in each of those papers. I am subscribed to the Philadelphia Inquirer and I pick up the Courier Post at Wawa. Each paper has different inserts. So you may need to buy a different paper alltogether. If any of you SJ ladies would like to trade, just drop me a line. We are all over the place, because of my husband’s routes, where we go to church, and where we work, so I’m sure we could meet up somewhere. And I always have plenty of coupons…..

  • Rebecca

just making my list and i saw there is a $1.50/2 coffee mate coupon that expires 6/28. That makes them .49 each! Pretty sure it was from a ss because I have 8 of them and I usually don’t get many red plum. Also it does not specify a size. Great coupon if you have it!!

  • Rebecca

Oh and i forgot!! SS has a $1/1 fruitables this week (6/6) in the south jersey inserts.

  • Lexy

Just got my SR flyer for next week!! So excited about one of the deals that will be going on for two weeks from June 13-June 26th, If you buy $40.00 worth of Kraft, General Mills, Unilever, get $5.00 savings certificate, buy $80.00, get $25.00, and the one I’m most exited about- Buy $120.00 save $50!!!

Excited to see what deals we can come up with :)

Shoprite did a pretty good job listing a lot of the qualifying purchases you can get along with their sale prices

Limit one offer during period… Qualifying purchases are calculated BEFORE taxes, bootle deposits, and the face value of manufacturer coupons, and after shoprite store coupons, shoprite plus club card. (So should be pretty easy to get to $120.
