by Cindy on July 29, 2010

Saturday, September 25th is Smithsonian Magazine’s 6th Annual Museum Day and my birthday.  So I think they should make it a national holiday.  Okay maybe not a national holiday but how about Free museum tickets.

You can head over here to score 2 Free tickets to hundreds of museums around the country.  Tickets are for 9/25 only.  Your Free tickets will be emailed to you once your register.

I know it said 2 free tickets but I don’t know if it’s 2 per household or 2 per person.

This is great! I hope everyone takes advantage of this to discover history and the arts in your backyard. New Jersey is rich in cultural history/resources and many people do not know these sites and museums exist. I have been to a number of the New Jersey ones (Cornelius Low House, East Jersey Olde Towne, Allaire, Zimmerli Art Museum and American Labor). They are all great sites and you can learn a great deal about your area’s history. Please go out and enjoy them!
