Menu Plan Monday – 7/19

It is getting to be that time again.  Time to restock on the meats & fish.  The freezer is looking a little low in that department.  But, I still have plenty for this week’s menu.  Here is what I have planned:

  • Grilled Tilapia*, Pasta Salad, Grilled Veggies
  • Chicken Fajitas
  • Turkey Burgers, Grilled Potatoes, Salad
  • Hot Dogs, Corn, Beans
  • London Broil, Sweet Potato Fries on the grill (any tips?), Salad
  • Grilled Chicken Sausage with sauteed peppers & onions over rice
  • Eat out!

*To cook the Tilapia we just use a McCormick marinade and then cook it in a fish grill basket.

    I do regular potato wedges on the grill, and I usually microwave them for a few minutes first, jut to start them cooking. I’d be that would help with the sweet potatoes. Also, my sister-in-law makes really nice sweet potato fries that she seasons with cumin and red pepper.
