Dear Cindy,
I just completed a trip to Target on Rt 10 in East Hanover. Since I didn’t get a circular this week, I just made my deals using the price guides from LRWC. There is a price discrepancy between what I expected and what I got. I can’t find any sale price for Juicy Juice 8 pack $2.24, they charged me $2.39 each. You list Hanover Pretzels $2.24 – $2.59 but the circular I got doesn’t have them listed at all, I wanted the pretzel sandwiches and they were $3.19 each. **Is this advertised somewhere else?** The Kashi entree deal has to be presented properly or you don’t get the good price. (I did the deal as you suggested and it came out at a package price of $5.70 on one and $4.70 on the other. Now my coupons are gone and I don’t know how I can get the great deal you posted!) I suggest presenting the 2 entrees. the (2, NOT 3) .75 mfg coupons and the (Tgt $1 coupon off of 2) first, then the (buy 2 get one free Tgt coupon) and the 3rd entree. You might suggest doing this deal separately to be sure it works as it should.
Don, unfortunately the prices do differ from one store to another even when they are right down the street. However, I too shop at the E. Hanover store. Possibly I did get the Juicy Juice price wrong but you can see the price right on the shelf tag so hopefully if the difference of $0.15 was more then you wanted to spend, that you didn’t get them. The Hanover Pretzels I was referring to were not the sandwich pretzels. I can’t list all the different variations in the store so I went with a range for the basic pretzels which did range from $2.24 – $2.59.
As far as the Kashi entree, I got the deal, at that store, just as I posted. Mine did not ring up as you stated but at $2.85 each as the tag on the shelf states for a total of $8.55 for the set of 3 and then $2.85 deducted for the free one which makes $5.70 for the 3. Then the $1/1 manufacturer coupons were taken against that as well as the target coupons which were deducted at the bottom of the receipt. So, if you received a total of $4.70 for the set of 3 then that is a better deal but I’m not sure how you got that.
I plan on doing alot of these great deals at Target this week. I am sitting here compiling my list and my coupons and I have a HUGE stack of coupons to go with everything. Do they ever give you a problem with the amount of coupons you present? And does Target have a limit of 4 like coupons – like if I wanted to buy 4 bags of the pretzels and used 4 manuf. Q and 4 Target Qs?
Hey Lori, good questions. It honestly differs from store to store. I personally have not had a problem recently with the amount of coupons or limits or just taking certain coupons in general. I used to about a year ago but that was really due to the Target coupons not scanning. They were the old style and a pain so the cashiers would tell me they couldn’t take them because they wouldn’t scan. But over the last year I’ve never had a problem and yesterday I used quite a bit. I always hand them over so that the manufacturer coupons are on top as that seems to be the smoothest.
Just a note. You may have some beep but that usually just means they have to locate the product in the transaction.
Thanks for your quick response, can’t wait to go shopping and see my savings!
what is the bear naked wyb 2 dannon products? is that a coupon, a store sale? i could not find any info on that deal! thanks!
It’s a store sale. There is a tag hanging in front of the Dannon 32 oz products that shows the sale.
