NJ Happenings This Weekend: Balloon Festival, Bugs & 4-H Fair

For New Jersey Residents:  Here are some free and/or inexpensive family activities for this weekend.

  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7/23 – 7/25: Quick Chek New Jersey Festival of Ballooning, Readington, NJ.  Starts Friday at 1:00 and ends Sunday at 8pm.  Times and prices vary so you can head over here to get all information.
  • Saturday & Sunday, 7/24 – 7/25: Bugs Don’t Bug Us, NJ Children’s Museum, Paramus.  Free with paid admission.  You check it out here.
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday, 7/23 – 7/25: Morris County 4-H Fair, Chubb Park, Chester, NJ.  Free Admission, $5 to park.  You can find out more information here.

    We have tickets for the balloon festival—a large group of family is going with us Saturday afternoon, we can’t wait…even with the 100 degree predicted weather!

    Also, the Monmouth County Fair is this week in Freehold, NJ….$7 adult admission children 12 and under free….
