ShopRite Matchups 7/11 – 7/17

by Cindy on July 10, 2010

Here are your ShopRite match ups for the week of 7/11-7/17.

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled in these match ups. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price coupons have been listed here. Make sure to check out the ShopRite Coupon Policy.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. This is a YMMV situation.

Load up your Cellfire coupons directly to your Price Plus Card for even more savings. New Cellfire coupons come out Sunday so check back for updates.

Make sure to try out the new “Print Friendly” button on the bottom to make your own customized shopping list.

I received a catalina notice when I checked out last week, it’s buy 3 or more Ben & Jerry pints and get $2 OYNO valid 7/12/10 – 9/5/10. Cherry Garcia for me! Looks like a seamless transistion to the new sight. Thanks again for all you do.

Cindy July 10, 2010 at 5:03 pm

Oh, sweet. Nice find. They are only $1.00. Adding them in. Thanks :)

Reply

Cindy July 10, 2010 at 5:07 pm

Oh wait, never mind on the $1.00. The cups are $1.00, not the pints. The Pints are $3.50. Now we just need some coupons to go along with that. :)

I found Ben and Jerry $1 peelies from Walgreens Ice Cream freezers in one of my Walgreens trips.

Reply

Chrissy P July 11, 2010 at 7:26 pm

Target has Ben and Jerry’s on sale for $2.39. If you use your coupon that you got off the ice cream at Walgreens, you’ll get a really great deal.

For the V8 Splash, if you go to tryv8.com and sign up, you can print out a $1/1 coupon…I was able to print 2 of them. This makes the juice .99!

Bailey’s coffee creamer is priced at .99. The bailey IP Q that you posted on your 6/15 shoprite match ups is still working. :)

Airwick Freshmatic

Cindy,

The Airwick $4.00 IP Q that you have under your 5/9 – 5/15 Shoprite Match ups is still working. The shoprite flyer says Airwick Oil Motion Starter Kit and the fine print says, Mini Freshmatic Starter Kit. So I am hoping that the $4.00 IP Q for the Air Wick Freshmatic will work for this.

Hi,
My Shoprite doesn’t accept the Smartsource coupons. They say they do not not have the proper scan bar on them. Has anyone else encountered this?

Reply

Cindy July 10, 2010 at 8:10 pm

Lisa, I am working on that. At least I’m working on it with Village ShopRites which I think are the only ones with that new rule. I have 2 phone calls into them to explain to them that it’s a crazy rule. They are not taking them because there is not a website address on the coupon. Smart Source coupons only have Smart Source on them and I’m not sure why ShopRite can not recognize the Smart Source name without the .com. My point to them is that all the blinkie coupon machines (the red ones hanging off the shelf) are from the same coupon so obviously they are a legitimate company and their coupons have very distinct features on them that are easy for them to look for.

Lisa July 11, 2010 at 10:48 am

Thanks Cindy. Btw, my Shoprite is in Cherry Hill. This past week, they refused $11.00 of my Smartsource coupons. :o (

Reply

Jessica July 13, 2010 at 11:31 pm

They refuse the Smartsource coupons here in Staten Island, too. So unfair! :(

Reply

Melissa July 10, 2010 at 8:12 pm

Yes at Lakewood Shoprite…they will only accept Coupons.com saying that Smartsource are fake because they don’t have the bubbles in the top right corner.

Reply

brick township grrrl July 10, 2010 at 9:06 pm

Melissa, you are singing my tune! I have also encountered those morons at the Lakewood Shoprite not taking any coupons that don’t have the “bubbles”. I have explained to the head cashiers there that only Coupons. com uses the “bubble” method. They have a computer right there in the middle of the cashier’s station. I told them if they have any doubts, they can get on the computer and go to smartsource.com. They can clearly see that the coupons printed there are totally legitimate, and they don’t have “bubbles”. Of course, they will decline to do this, and they will take your coupons. Be that as it may, I would like to suggest an alternative. Have you tried giving your business to the Shoprite in Brick? I have used them exclusively for several months now, even though the Lakewood location is technically closer to where I live. I know it’s a pain to get into the plaza, and parking is a double pain. But maybe there’s a reason why the store is so popular. The general manager, whose name eludes me right now, is a real hands-on kind of guy…stocking shelves, putting up displays, helping customers, etc. Most store managers would feel that type of work is “grunt work”, but not him. He is very nice and very helpful. I also can’t say enough nice things about the head cashiers , and the cashiers in general. Most of them are quite friendly. Even the ones who are a little aloof do their job correctly. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t go to a grocery store to make friends. I go to buy what I need for myself, my husband and my kids, and I try to do it for as little money out-of-pocket as possible. So if they don’t have a big smile on their faces while they wait on me…who cares? Okay, fellow Jersey Shore girl, I think I’ve gone on long enough. I hope this has been of some help!

I had the same problem once and I spoke with the manager letting her know that before I shop I go to a website (Cindy can I mention the website here?) that lists fraudulent coupon to make sure that I am not taking fraudulent coupons with me. I told her that I do not want to take fraudulent coupons with me because not only it is against my values, I also want to make sure that the store will get their money from the manufacturer. I gave the website to the manager, she was very thankful and all my visits in that Shoprite after that has always been pleasant.

After second look at the Betty Crocker fruit snacks deal scenario it says Purchase 4 and get back a $2.50 Catalina but the matchup says 5 are needed to get $2.50. Just checking on that one…

Reply

Cindy July 10, 2010 at 11:33 pm

It’s actually $2.00 not the $2.50. But my match was off anyway so it is really $0.38 each after coupons, cellfire & ECB. So even better.

Reply

Jean July 11, 2010 at 8:56 am

My SR circular says that the fruit snacks are 2/$3, must buy 2…additional or lesser quantities are 2/$5…I’m on Long Island.

Reply

Cindy July 11, 2010 at 9:11 am

Yes 2 for $3.00. There is a limit of 4 deals so 4 would still ring up at the $1.50 each. If you would 3 then 2 would ring up at $1.50 each and 1 would ring up at $2.50 each.

If you go onto shoprite from home and chose your location, it gives you the current sale prices. I just looked at mine, and the airwick oil i-motion and minii freshmatic are $4.49, but the full size freshmatic is $11.99.
Hope this helps!

Hi everyone, sorry to hear of your shoprite troubles at the jersey shore! I shop at the Bayville shoprite and they do accept my smartsource coupons. Some of the cashiers are very nice and some are very rude. I try to stick to the ones that are nice. I too shop at the one in Brick when i go to that strip mall, I love that A&P is across the street and I take advantage of thier match ups to when I am in the area. Cindy Bayville is an awesome town to live in, we are exit 77 off parkway, houses are very affordable. I have been here for 9 years formerly from Northern new jersey (Lodi).

Reply

Kristine July 12, 2010 at 1:31 pm

I am in Bayville as well! Usually have no problems at the Shoprite, most can’t believe the money I am able to save and ask how they can do it!

Reply

Jada July 17, 2010 at 12:46 pm

I live in Bayville and the Bayville Shoprite does NOT accept my Smartsource coupons unless I get lucky and go to the right cashier. If Tamina the front end manager is working, she is the coupon POLICE and will not take them b/c she says they do not have a web site printed on them. Now the Lacey shoprite I never have an issue with. Sometimes I get lucky and a Bayville cashier will not say anything and take them but I always have to beware… I already had my arguements about the SS coipons – they just don’t get it or don’t want to!

We are all in mourning for the loss of Rockaway no longer taking expired coupons. A sad day and a big bummer.

FYI on the Smartbalance egg deal. I purchased 4 dozen @ $1.49 each and no catalina printed. When I questioned why no catalina, the clerk said she didn’t know anything about it. So she asked the cashier manager who also said she hadn’t heard of it and if it didn’t print there must not be one. I requested they speak with the store manager who looked it up. Lowand behold there was suppose to be a catalina printed out. I had to go to customer service but I got my 4 dozen eggs for our lake house vacation for $.24 each. YEAH!!
PS I shop at the Stroudsburg, PA store.

The finish website (finishdishwashing.com) has a $3 coupon for the Quantumatic making it only $1.99 for this week! I just saw the commercial and I was able to print 2 of them per computer!

Yeah different Shoprite policies are nonsense alright. I am a South Jersey girl myself, I shop at Brown’s Shoprite in Brooklawn. I never seem to have a problem with any of my coupons there. My friend shops at Cherry Hill and usually grabs me one of their circulars. It amazes me that they have so many Super Coupons almost every week in their ads, while my Shoprite ad has none. I asked about it before and was told that since the stores are individually owned and operated the ads and store policies can differ. The only thing that scares me now about coupons is all of the new forms of them. We have Cellfire, and now Shoprite has added clipless coupons to their site. I can see them trying to limit us already. It will be a long way away, but someday they will probably stop having coupon inserts in our papers or less of them.
