Here was her transaction:

SUBTOTAL $7.00
SHIPPING $7.95
HANDLING $0.00
TAX $0.00
CREDIT -$14.95

Thanks for the deal, but every time I try to process it the site says it is having errors. :P

It’s probably just overloaded right now. I’m sure it will work again soon.

Now the dang cutting boards are on hold. I have bad luck. lol!

Is this a legit company? I don’t understand why I have to give them my credit card information if my bill is less than my credit…

Their stuff was recently featured in O Magazine if that helps at all.
Usually the systems require a credit card even for a zero balance because they can not automatically override that part of it. If you don’t feel comfortable then you can always skip the deal. There are so many great deals that missing one is no biggey.

Do you have to put in your credit card information even if the balance is $0

Reply

Jessica Olnick September 24, 2010 at 12:23 pm

Usually if you’re ordering something, even if the balance is $0 you still need to put in your CC info.

Reply

Lori September 24, 2010 at 1:53 pm

I used a debit card from my Blue Bunny rebate. That way it’s not holding onto my credit card info into their system.

Yeah seems like alot of stuff that is less than 15 is going fast.. Makes me wonder if they will regret doing such an offer.. I know their shipping department will be busy as heck next week…

I also got this deal….thought it wasn’t a bad price either, and I needed some new cutting boards!! These should be good quality ones as well!! Had some “technical difficulties” at the end when I tried to submit my order, but after a few tries it did go through! Thanks!!

The cutting boards are sold out. I got the cute red salad set for 90 cents. Not bad!!

If you click “upcoming sales” it will tell you when things will be on sale again. Maybe the cutting boards will go on sale again soon.

anyone else getting charged for shipping? I’m getting hit for 7.95. Is there a way to get out of this?

Reply

Cindy September 24, 2010 at 6:12 pm

What did you buy? People have been able to get free or very inexpensive items from products priced around $7 or $8 and then shipping brings it up to the $15 mark. Did you buy something for $7 or $8 or for $15?

Cindy – thank you! I’m getting married and wanted some of the bamboo bowls that are on sale for $22 as hostess gifts for a shower being given in my honor. I was able to get both the small and larger bowls (which were on sale for $22 and $12) for a total of $15 after taking into account my $15 credit (I referred my Mom and fiance and they signed up too). These bowl sets would retail for $85 (and would have cost me $34 plus shipping each set at the sale price) but I got them for less than $15 a set, shipping included. Just wanted to let everyone know that you don’t have to just buy the $8 items to get a great deal and end up with a fabulous gift for someone else!

Did anyone receive their stuff yet?

Reply

Lori September 30, 2010 at 2:22 pm

When I sign in and look at my orders, it looks a little strange. The bottom order totals and shipping all have zeroes.

Donna M. September 30, 2010 at 4:17 pm

When I placed my order they said they would ship between Oct. 6 and Oct. 15, 2010.

I just received a statement from my credit card–they charged me $14.95 for my”0″ balance order. When I called them they said they did not charge me– interesting ?

I know there were a few people that this has happened to. Everyone that has had an issue has called and said that it was credited quickly. I’m not sure why they would say that to you. Maybe if you tried to call again and offer to send them a copy of your statement.
