Pathmark and A&P always has manager special coupons on their meat when it is approaching the sell by date so you can use this coupon with some possible manager special deals to score some cheap meat. But, don’t just assume that all managers specials are a good deal. Here is a tip to make sure you get the most as of those manager special coupons:
- Look for the smallest weight package
- After you deduct the amount of the coupon (usually $1.00 or $2.00 off a package), make sure to calculate how much your per lb the package will be (Total price after coupon / weight of package). If that price is not lower then the stockpile meat prices then skip it.
