ShopRite Matchups 9/12 – 9/18

Here are your ShopRite match ups for the week of 9/12 – 9/18

All coupons $.99 and under are doubled in these match ups. If your ShopRite doubles differently, please adjust the final price accordingly. Also keep in mind that these coupon match ups are based on insert coupons found in the NJ, NY area. Other areas may have additional or different value coupons. Only the best value price coupons have been listed here. Make sure to check out the ShopRite Coupon Policy.

Do Not Double Coupons: All coupon match ups below are shown as doubled. Some coupons will state “Do Not Double” on the coupon. This is a YMMV situation.

    I can’t find the $1/1 Musselman’s Apple Sauce anywhere!

  • ueen

i think the butterball turkey bacon is priced at 1.24. a week ago i was able to print a $1/1 Q from their website.

    • Ueen

Here is the link for the butterball turkey bacon Q

      http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=JI54IL2DEH4JU

      • Diane R

Thanks so much for this link Ueen. Pathmark has the Butterball Turkey Bacon on sale this week for only $1.00 and just yesterday I bought 3 packages (with NO coupons – shame on me!!) :) , but I will certainly go back and pick up 2 more packages for free with the coupons I just printed from your link!

        • ueen

yayyyy… it looks like im heading to pathmark instead for free bacon. thanks for the info diane. this is the beauty of this forum, everyone are sharing good info. this is one of the many reasons i love lrwc. thanks for giving us this chance cindy.

    • Beth

The Marlton Shoprite wouldn’t take the coupons I printed – they didn’t print with a barcode.

  • Jenny

I am pretty sure it is on price before coupons, not shelf price. I had spant 177.00 then down to about 100.00 with coupons and it came up for 177.00 on the deal.

  • Jamie

This week I bought (4) 50 ct Ziploc sandwich bags with a raincheck and I got a $2 Catalina. I don’t know how many boxes triggered it, but I bought 4.

    • Beth

3 boxes trigger the Catalina…so you’d need 3 coupons to make the deal great.

  • http://www.facebook.com/michelelynnfox Michele

I used the 1.00 off coupons from smartsource today for the Rayovac batteries and boy did i get a snotty, pain in the butt cashier. She called over the manager because the coupons were 1.00 and the batteries were .99 and the register wouldn’t take them. Then she proceeded to whisper out loud in front of me to the manager. She kept demanding they were counterfeit because they wouldnt scan. He kept telling her just because they wouldn’t scan didn’t mean they weren’t real. She didn’t want to override them on her register in case she would get in trouble for fakes even though the manager said it was fine and they were good. 25 minutes for 4 packs of batteries! Insane

    • Christina

had the same experience @ my shoprite….they told me that they aren’t taking any ss coupons. :-(

      • Diane R

Wow, that really stinks! Did they mean SS from the Smartsource circular, or only internet printed Smartsource coupons? What SR was this at?

        • Christina

          Shoprite in Wilmington, DE.

They are banning SS internet coupons. According to the manager, they had a lot of issues with fraud so they are banning them all. He said he’s expecting them to ban all internet coupons in the future. ugh!!!

        • http://www.facebook.com/michelelynnfox Michele

I was at the Wharton shoprite. I only went there for batteries because I was at the mall and because the Netcong shoprite near me didn’t have any batteries.

          • Michelle

My Shoprite wouldn’t take the Rayovac coupons and I had to see a manager because the cashier and the front end supervisor were SO nasty and rude, they acted like a I was a criminal.

  • Mary

There is also a $.50/1 printable coupon for Skippy, which makes for a sweet deal on the Skippy and free bread. I was also able to print a $2/1 clearasil coupon that is available through their website.

  • Donna Webster

My ShopRite changed their coupon policy this week. I also had a problem using the Rayovac battery $1.00 coupons. The cashier said her monitor read “not for sale” when the coupons were scanned. She called a manager over and the manager confirmed that I could not use them on the purchase of the batteries, apparently since they were more than the price of this sale item. Later I also saw that the register did not double my Colgate $.35 coupons on the sale toothpastes (.77). Frustrating!

    • http://www.facebook.com/michelelynnfox Michele

My cashiers computer also said “not for sale” but the manager put it through anyhow. The problem is they have to manual over ride it and put the coupons in at the price of the batteries. Since the coupon was for more then the price of the batteries it comes up not for sale. Otherwise they would “owe” you money and the stores are not going to give you money back.

      • n

wouldn’t shoprite get the $1 back when they send the coupon in for their reimbursment anyway?

    • Lori G

Those .35 Colgate coupons never double at my Shoprite…somehow the register reads the DND5 code….

  • Ruth Jenkins

There was a catalina deal on the Ziploc bags, buy 3 get $2.00. It also worked on the 120 ct. sandwich bags that was on sale for 5 for 7.98, the catalina isn’t advertised for this one but those bags also produced a catalina, it was a great deal, not sure if it is still working, I will try it today and let everyone know.

ShopRite has great deals but most of the cashiers aren’t very coupon friendly. I’m fortunate that there are three ShopRite in this area that have self checkouts. In order not to get aggravated, I never use the cashiers. This problem of ignorant and rude cashiers is not exclusive to ShopRite, I’m not sure what is happening to customer service but I have seen a trend of rude and ignorant cashiers in the last year or so.

    • Dee2

True at my Shoprite, too. Except they will only allow customers to use the self-check outs like an express. You can only have something like 15 items and only use 4 coupons, which they have to see before you are allowed to scan them. Shoprite usually has better deals than Stop & Shop, but the staff is soooooo much nicer at S&S. The cashiers want to help customers save money on groceries. Shoprite cashiers can be real jerks about coupons.
I use my self-scan gun at S&S and check out in no time, even with coupons.

Is it me, or are we having a few “slow” weeks at Shoprite…I actually don’t mind because I need to eat up all the free ice cream, free/ cheap cereal, peanut butter etc. that I stocked up on last month, but I’m feeling kind of disappointed after reading last week’s, and now this week’s circular..I think I am coming down off an especially good coupon “high” from the Can Can Summer of Savings, and the few weeks after that! Does this mean I’m addicted to savings? ;)

    Lori G

    • Cindy

      sounds like an addiction :)

    • Francesca Rothenbacher

Actually, I think of it as a skill.

      • Sandy

I see it as being a Good Steward – that’s what God calls me to be :o) It’s my job to save money!!!!

  • sj

Has anyone found the Ronzoni coupon? I couldn’t through the link.

    Thanks!

    • Cindy

zip code: 90210. It was at that zip code last night but I haven’t check this morning.

      • Kristine Twardy-Todd

Still was there for me today, I had printed some 2 weeks ago, so they were all reset for me and I got to reprint!

  • Martha

I’m kinda new at this.. is there anyway to group the online coupons.com coupons & redplum.com online coupons together? I’m using alot of paper printing one or two coupons at a time.. maybe just state that they’re coupons.com or something? I don’t know if the link is for a manufacturer website or what.. I appreciate all the work you do Cindy :-) If it wasn’t for all your HARD WORK, we’d have less food on our shelves and money in the bank!

    • Cindy

There is no way to group them together. Coupons.com and red plum are seperate companies

      • Kristine Twardy-Todd

If I print one coupon, I will turn the paper around and print another on the other side/end of the paper, definitely has helped saved me some paper!

        • Ruth Newman

I turn the paper over as well, or after I cut the one coupon off, I put the smaller piece of paper back into the printer and use it if I know I only need one coupon. Only problem with doing that is occassionally some of these sites print the coupon in the MIDDLE of the page, and then you may lose a tiny bit of the coupon bottom. Most of the time I just try to find 2 other coupons I may need in the future and print them out at the same time as the one I want.

  • Betty

All sudden, I cannot print coupons from coupons.com and redplum except smartsouce, requiring a “coupon printer” to be installed, I have downloaded and installed multiple times, but nothing prints. Any suggestions?

    • Kristine Twardy-Todd

Have you tried restarting your computer?

    • Ruth Newman

BETTY – that same thing with the ‘reinstall coupon printer’ happened to me tonight. I did it a couple of times, then got out of the site, and logged back in, and then they printed. So trial and error I guess.

(I responded further down the page like a moron, the realized I needed to reply HERE…sorry).

    • Rachel

Im not sure what type of computer you have, but I have an apple. I have used coupons for a long time with no problem, but randomly had this problem a few months ago -I took my laptop into the apple store, and they punched a few buttons and fixed it… worth a shot if you cant get it working!

  • Francesca Rothenbacher

I did not get the Pledge catalina today, so I think it may be over.

  • Rachel Edgar

Hey, here’s a Shop Rite Ziploc deal I did today, 1,200 sandwich bags for $3 after catalina’s!!!! Ok here’s the deal: buy 10 boxes of 120 Ziploc sandwich bags will ring up at $3.49 each, every 5 you buy $9.46 will automatically deduct, so $16 for 10 boxes, then use 4 $1.50/2 printable and 1 $1/2 (SS 9/12) OOP $9 get back 3 $3 catalinas!!!!! Turns out to be $.0025 per bag:)

    • Rachel Edgar

SORRY GUYS!!! ment to say 3 $2 catalina!!!

    • Lori

Anyone with kids, that take their lunches to school, can’t pass this one up.
10 boxes of 120 bags, OOP 10.00 and received 3 $2.00 cats. YEAH!!! Thank you so much Rachael & Cindy!

Our ShopRite’s down here, particularly Hillsborough, NJ, make you feel like a criminal if you bring in internet coupons. You are not allowed to scan your own coupons at the self-checkout at all. I’m sure the cashiers have been told that bad coupons come out of their paychecks if they’re caught, but still. I try to stick to Pathmark where I can use self-checkout and scan my own coupons, even though there are occasionally ones that hiccup that require help.

    • Betty

I don’t go to Hillsborough shoprite anymore, they are not coupon friendly.

  • Ashley

When i purchased 2 Skippy Naturals Peanut Butter with Honey, a $1 catalina printed out.

  • christina

I found a Curves coupon booklet at my Shoprite(Daleville, PA) containing Frigo cheese head $1.00 cpn, No Yolks egg noodles $.50 coupons, Flat out bread $1.00 cpn and a ton of other great ones. They were there when you enter the store where there are tons of other pamphlets. It is a pink glossy booklet. Check it out!

  • Victoria

Can anyone tellme where the musselman’s coupon is on their facebook page??? Thanks

    • Bridget

couldnt find it there, went directly to the website, and got one :)

  • Ruth Newman

Just got the Grands deal! Sweet! I am thinking NO, but has anyone ever frozen these before? Would love to get more, but don’t want them to go bad before I use them. The Ziploc bags at SR in Somers Point, NJ were $2.10 at the cheapest. So held off, and will check prices at the Acme in case the Catalina deal works there.

    • Rachel

I have wondered the same thing, I would definitely NOT freeze them in the can, but they might be okay out of the can just like raw dough – like we freeze the pie dough… not sure though

  • Ruth Newman

In reading some of the comments above, I see about scanning coupons and Pathmark’s self checkout. Went there tonight, and got to the third coupon for the Friskies Cat treats. It wouldn’t scan for some reason? So the girl comes and yells over to someone about ‘isn’t there a new coupon rule?’ then says, ‘oh, you can only use 4 coupons now.’ So I am like ‘really? well this was my fourth coupon and it isn’t going through?’ So explain that in regards to your new rule I am thinking! I say to her, ‘Do you mean to tell me that out of ALL these customers here, you are only now accepting 4 coupons a person? Or do you mean 4 per item?’ I said that I needed to speak to someone else, so then she calls someone over, and they magically make it work. Then get to the Butterball Turkey Bacon coupons and they don’t want to scan right from the get go. First one of the coupons won’t scan, so they override it, then the coupon box says it is full, then back to coupons not scanning. I was thinking the machine was possessed or something. But in the end they scanned them all for me, and I got the heck out of there with all my deals. I do think ‘FOUR’ is the magic number, and if you go over usually you have a problem. But I have noticed that I can scan a coupon, it won’t work…have VOIDED the order and had the cashier ring it up again (due to an error or problem with a special) and the SAME coupon then works. Can’t figure it all out yet, and probably never will!

  • Ruth Newman

BETTY – that same thing with the ‘reinstall coupon printer’ happened to me tonight. I did it a couple of times, then got out of the site, and logged back in, and then they printed. So trial and error I guess.

  • Esther

do you think they will accept the coupon for:
    Shady Brook Turkey Meatballs $2.24
use $1/1 Select Honeysuckle White Turkey printable (regional)
or use $1/1 Select Shady Brook Farms Turkey printable (regional)
as low as $1.24 each after coupon

the coupons specify for turkey bratwurst, sausage, and tenderloins. no meatballs.

anyone have any luck using them?

  • Sarah

The Shoprite in Norwich, CT will not accept any printable coupons, and the other store nearest to me (Waterford, ct) will not accept more than one of any printable coupon. I have stopped wasting my ink, and instead have been ordering more from a coupon clipping service, and STILL the cashiers make remarks about how may coupons I have. Last week I had not one printable coupon and I still needed a managers approval…UGH!

  • Candice

I am so sad that people think we are committing crimes because we ARE printing real coupons from a reputable source. I am truly embarrassed when I go to a store and they make me think that i have done something wrong. When I print from coupons.com or redplum.com and I go to my shoprite, they make it seem like im a felon for having 2 of the same coupon!! Its so unfair that they said i am a fraud!!! I cant tell you how it makes me feel that i feel like a criminal, even though im not!!!!!!!!!!!!, but when i have my fiancee with me, he shouldnt feel that way either!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am honest and LEGIT!!

  • PK

I’ve not had a problem with my Shoprite (yet). We always use self-checkout and occasionally if something doesn’t scan, we have to call the attendant over. He is always very helpful and my husband brags about how much I save with coupons. Our biggest problem is that the coupon holders are too small. They usually have to empty them during our checkout. I would not hesitate, however, to contact the owner of the store. I have sent e-mails to our (Kenny Family Stores) regarding everything from incorrectly advertised products to slipping on spills that haven’t been cleaned up to odors in the seafood department. They always reply and usually send a 10% coupon for my inconvenience. Don’t ever let someone make you feel bad for utilizing coupons to save money. Manufacturers wouldn’t provide them if they didn’t want you to use them!

    • Larrina

I personally don’t have problems very often at my SR (Laurel Springs, SJ) but I completely agree. The cashiers are there to be helpful and friendly. If they are not their boss should be informed! I keep track of my cashiers attitudes (when my regular girl isn’t there) and if they seem not so thrilled with my coupons I just don’t go to them again.

  • Rachel

just fyi – the bagel bites are 9 count, but there are pizza rolls on sale for $1.86 for 15 count and there is a $0.40/2 coupon at coupons.com – so it makes it $2.92 for 2 boxes (30 count total) which works out to a much better deal than the bagel bites

  • Christa

Hi Cindy, I really would like to take advantage of the ziploc sandwich bag scenario up top but I just want to make sure I can buy 10 sandwich bags and have them ring up on sale? Or do I need to buy 4 of one kind, 4 of another and 2 of another. If anyone can help me figure this out before I go today that would be great!

    • Cindy

Well I would buy 4 of one 4 of another and 2 of another. It seems to be different prices at different stores (mine was priced at $1.50) so I would just do it that way to be sure. Usually if you take it to a price check machine, the screen will tell you if there is a limit. So you might want to try that.
