Groupon: 8-Week Sunday Delivery of The New York Times for $16

Groupon on a subscription to the New York Times.  The deal is for the 8 week Sunday Delivery of the NY Times for $16.  These sell for about $5 at newstands and, the last time I check, they had a good assortment of coupon inserts each Sunday.

Here is how to get the deal:

  • If you are new to Groupon you will need to sign up for a new Groupon account
  • If you are already have a Groupon account then head over to Groupon
  • Choose New York

Here are the details:

  • Expires Feb 13, 2011
  • Limit 1 per household.
  • Must activate subscription by 2/13/11, subscription expires 8 weeks after activation.

Ebates: 3% Cash back plus additional $5 if you are new to Ebates.

    I also live in Essex County, get the NY Times on the weekend by subscription–and there are almost NEVER any coupons.

    Better bet–if you can-is to go someplace that carries the Bergen Record, which is cheaper than the Star-Ledger, and usually has more coupons. Unfortunately, their delivery area is smaller. I go to church in Bergen County, so I just pick up two copies on my way home.
