My Shopping Trip: ShopRite, Walgreens, CVS

Shoprite & Walgreens Saturday

ShopRite, Walgreens, CVS & Farmers Market Sunday

I know for the last couple of months some of you have missed seeing my shopping trips.  I was pretty much living off my stockpile so I could save up for Christmas, birthdays, paying off some bills, etc.  You know the drill.  Well, I’m back at it this month and it felt good on Friday to score a great deal at ShopRite.

I think my husband was getting worried because we were almost out of cereal and toothpaste.  Really, we were.  The only cereal that was left was the ones my kids didn’t like.  So, I’m putting them into my donation box.  And, after this weekend, I’d say I’m stocked up having purchased 16 boxes of cereal and 6 tubes of toothpaste.  Oh yeah, and 40 yogurts.  The joke when someone gets a yogurt out is, “Don’t keep eating them, there is not enough for everyone”. 🙂

Here is my score:

Shoprite (Saturday):
Paid $4.84 out of pocket and received a $2.00 catalina (yoplait). Saved $28.82

Is there anywhere to get last weeks dishwashing coupon for 2.25 on-line? I’ve been looking everywhere for it. I didn’t get the coupon in my paper (Suffolk County, Long Island NY) and I don’t know where I should’ve gotten extra papers. I’m almost out of dishwashing detergent so this would’ve been perfect for us!

I looked at several different coupon clipping service and couldn’t find it last week. So I went on ebay and ordered some. I have never done that before but I am so glad I did!!!

Where is the farmers market store you use? I would love to check it out. I visit our outdoor farmers market everyweekend in the summer and fall.

Livingston Farmers Market on Rt. 10. There is a list I had done a while ago on Farmers Markets. http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/2010/05/farmers-market-list.html#more-11074

I love that they opened the new farmers market on Rte 10. The same owners have a store in Totowa, and I would actully sometimes make the trip down there because the prices were so great. I work in Livingston, so the new store is fantastic for me (hit it on my lunch hour). The prices are fantastic :0)

When you get the General Mills cereal at ShopRite for 4 for $6 it has a limit of 4. Is that 4 for the week or just 4 a day cuz I’m really low on cereal as well

    • Cindy

It’s a limit of 4 offers per transaction so you can actually buy 16 boxes at $1.50 each in one transaction if you wanted it. An offer is 4 for $6.
