So for RA, UpRewards are on shelf price, not price w/Qs, correct? That’s how the holiday savings program worked but I’m so confused thanks to an argument I had this week at Walgreens…what else is new?

  • Laurie M.

Here is a link for a Smart Source SKITTLES coupon to make that deal even sweeter!

Spoke with the manager of my local RA and there is a limit of 6 on the GE bulbs.

  • Jennifer K.

I’m so glad they put a limit on the light bulbs! I just wish they had advertised it in the circular!

For the Nature Made vitamins, there was a RA VV for $3/1 Fish oil. I found a whole page of Nature Made vitamin qs in that All You mag including a $3/1 any NM vitamin and a $4/1 NM fish oil. I found them Friday night and went Saturday to use them with (last week’s) BOGO. I bought one CoQ10 (30 ct – 12.99) and one Fish Oil (60ct – 11.99 was the price on the shelf, but price check was 9.99). I used the RA $3/1 VV for fish oil, the All You $4/1 fish q and the $6/1 All You CoQ10 q. I bought a .40 food item (total was 12.99 + .40 = 13.39), used $13 in qs and paid 39 cents. Hope this helps with your scenarios!

Here is a deal scenario I put together for the Nature Made using prices at my store (I am in Delaware County, PA)

These were the prices of the cheaper items at the store I checked:
    Fish Oil 1200mg, 100 ct – $10.49 (10% disc – $9.44, 20% – $8.39)
    Odorless Fish Oil 1200mg 60 ct – $11.99 (10% disc – $10.79, 20% – $9.59)
    CoQ10 30mg, 30 ct – $12.99 (10% disc – $11.69, 20% – $10.39)
    Triple Omega Fish Oil 60 ct – $13.49 (10% disc – $12.14, 20% – $10.79)

Some new deal ideas based on the above items (I am keeping a CoQ10 in each deal because that would assume the person only has 1 issue of All You per month):

    Deal Idea with no discount:
    (2) Fish Oil 100 cts – $20.98
    1 CoQ10 30ct -$12.99
    Total before coupons: $33.97
Less $6/1 CoQ10 Feb All you, $3/1 Fish Oil Jan VV, $4/1 Fish Oil Feb All you $2/1 Fish Oil Jan All You or 1/2 SS and $3/1 Fish Oil Feb VV (Total deduction $18)
    Pay – $15.97, get back $16 in up rewards – $0.03 MM

    Deal Idea with 10% discount:
    (2) Fish Oil 100 cts – $18.88
    1 CoQ10 30ct -$11.69
    Total before coupons: $30.57
Less $6/1 CoQ10 Feb All you, $3/1 Fish Oil Jan VV, $4/1 Fish Oil Feb All you $2/1 Fish Oil Jan All You or 1/2 SS and $3/1 Fish Oil Feb VV (total deduction $18)
    Pay – $12.57, get back $16 in up rewards – $3.43 MM!!

Deal Idea with 20% discount (I can’t figure out a deal to make use of both VV coupons):
    Odorless Fish Oil 60ct – $9.59
    (2) CoQ10 30ct – $20.78
    Total before coupons: $30.37
Less $6/1 CoQ10 Feb All you, $3/1 Fish Oil Jan VV, $4/1 Fish Oil Feb All you and $5/1 CoQ10 Jan All you (total deduction still $18)
    Pay – $12.37, get back $16 in up rewards – $3.63 MM!!

    • Laurie M.

Thanks, Christina! These are great. I’m also in Delaware County, PA. 🙂

    • Laurie M.

      • Christina M

Well I had some issues finding the items to get the exact scenario listed above but I ended up doing the following:

        1 Nature Made Fish Oil 1200mg 100 Ct – $9.44 (Regular price $10.49, I have 10% discount)
2 Nature Made Fish Oil 1200mg 60 Ct Odorless – $10.34 each (Regular Price $11.49)
        Total was: $30.12
Used: (2) $3/1 VV coupons, $4/1 All you coupon, $3/1 any Nature Made All you coupon and $2/1 All you coupon and $14.98 Ups and $0.14 change to pay remaining balance.

I got back the $16 up for the Nature Made deal and a $10 up for the Healthy Heart Deal. I know on the list on the Healthy Heart website it lists specific sizes but I am not sure I got any of the exact sizes and I still got the $10 up (an added bonus: It doesn’t expire until 4/9/11!)

My suggestion is to bring all of your Nature Made coupons to RA and see what kind of deal you can come up with.

        • Laurie M.

Great! On my way there in a few minutes!

        • Katie K

Thanks Christina! I’m going to go later tonight and see what I can find.

I went in right before closing tonight. The Pepsi 2L were ringing up 0.00. The cashier called the Shift Super. over. Cashier went to get other Pepsi 2Ls and all were rining up 0.00. SS wouldn’t sell them to me because she couldn’t change the price.

  • Question, the loreal website has a bricks coupon for $3 on any L’Oreal Paris Hair color, would gain a $1? on the offer instead of $3.98 oop would be $2.98? when I use 2 of the $3 off q’s also my circular says wyb2 not 3?
thanks in advance I’m still new at this

    • sorry not oop meant after +up (duh)

      • and the $4 off beauty purchase I’m really confused but I feel like there’s a deal here?

        • Dawn

Loretta, I’ll try to help you!
First, you need to check to see if your store is requiring 2 or 3 hair colors to qualify for the UP+. If it is buy 2, get $5 UP+, then yes, using two of those $3/1 would get your total down to $2.98. This would also mean the in-store coupon would have be off of two hair colors as well. I don’t have the flyer in front of me and the online one will not magnify so I am not able to check. Thanks for finding that coupon too!

As for the $4 off $20 coupon, I believe you are refering to the video values coupon. If you can get your purchase up to $20 or more, you will be able to use that coupon. The trick is getting your total before coupons to the smallest amount over $20 so you can save the most money. Two of the light bulbs should do it!

I hope I understood what you were asking correctly and was able to provide some clarity for you. Welcome to couponing- good luck! 🙂

          • Yes TY so much!! my flier says 2 for $17.98 -in ad coupon $4.00 on 2 less manufacturers coupon in most papers -$5 on 2 (i have $6) +$5 up on 2 u get the $5 +up on 2, so does the in ad coupon so the 2 hair color’s all the coupons I inquired about and 2 lightbulbs? Now can I pay for that with my new year resolution rewards? And just one more question, does that count toward the spend $15 on L’Oreal products and get a +$5up? (i’m assuming not but just checking) I have a few other things I needed to purchase but I figure having my $20 rewards certificate will help.

REALLY I GIVE YOU ALL CRAZY MAD PROPS cause I can’t get my head wrapped around all of it sometimes! I’m studying hard though!

I was going to do the nature made deal but without the all you coups it doesn’t appear to be worth it, however my next trip to wally world I’ll be buying an issue or two!

            Thanks so much!!

            • Dawn

Loretta, it sounds like you are good to go! I didn’t qualify for the New Year’s Resolution Rewards so I can’t say for certain, but if it’s like their other Rewards, it should work just fine. Just make sure your total is $20 or more BEFORE your coupons. Then you will just need to get something that’s $2.02 or slightly more (what’s known around here as “filler items”) so two light bulbs will work since you are paying $1.99 then getting the UP+ in the same amount. I didn’t qualify for the New Year’s Resolution Rewards so I can’t say for certain, but if it’s like their other Rewards, it should work just fine.

As for the L’Oreal spend $15, get $5 UP+ offer, that particular product isn’t shown as included but it may pop up for you. I wouldn’t count on it but stranger things have happened with Rite Aid! Just be pleasantly surprised if it does! HTH! 🙂

Was anyone able to find the manufacturer coupon $5/2 for L’oreal Excellence Creme or Excellence to Go Hair Color? I can’t find it in SS or RP.

  • Jule there’s a $3 off any 1 L’oreal Paris hair color coupon on their website, you can print it twice (it’s a bricks coupon) you just have to sign up i think, there’s also 2 additional coupons when you do 1 is for the make up I think, and the other is for $1 off any L’oreal Paris product here’s the link i hope it works http://www.lorealparisusa.com/_us/_en/default.aspx#/?page=top{userdata//d+d//|diagnostic|main:mylorealoffers|media:_blank|nav|overlay:_blank}

it also looks like they have a rewards program

    • Jule

Thanks for the link! It worked and I was able to print the coupon out twice.
