When does the sale start and end? I don’t regularly shop at Acme, so I don’t know how their sales run. But for some reason, I’m thinking it starts on Fridays?

    • Yes it starts Friday.
      Dates are 2/11-2/17

      • Jennifer K.

Awesome! Thanks so much for putting the deals together! I think I’ll be taking my husband along this time. I need a helper. 🙂

  • Nikki

What store/ area are these prices from?

    • These are from the Willingboro NJ store.

  • Victoria

    Thank you!!!!!!!!! You’re awesome!

  • Lynn

A while ago I submitted a form for a ConAgra coupon booklet that came with a $5 Walmart gift card. I apologize for not remembering what the promotion was, but the coupon booklet contains many coupons that will work nicely with this deal. If you got one too, pull it out and take a look. Happy shopping!

  • Robin

My Jan ’11 All You Magazine only had a hunts $1/3 for the diced tomatoes. I didn’t have the $1/2 tomatoes one or the .50/2 ketchup coupon.

    • Robin

I also didn’t have the peter pan peanut butter coupon, either in the Jan ’11 all you or the ss 1/2/11!

      • evonne

if you get the magazine in the mail these coupons are not there, however the newstand copies have the missing coupons

      • Laurie M.

I don’t have the peanut butter coupons either 🙁

      • Melissa B.

This was in the middle of the book. I got mine in store and it had it. There were reports if you get it in the mail that they did not have these coupons in them.

  • Bernell

    Dana

    Are these catalinas rolling.
I did the Wesson oil deal the other day do I already have a catalina.

    • Yes it’s rolling…I just did 4 back to back transactions.

      • Bernell

        Dana…….you just made my day!!
I’m ordering my coupons now!!! Woo Hoo!!!!!!!
I am loving Acme right now….
it started with my son needing a $4.00 RX…..they gave me a $25 giftcard….and I did the dove deal….the wesson deal…and now you tell me
I can keep rolling that $10 cat. over and over……….WOW!!!
I haven’t come out of pocket with ANYTHING!!!
        God is Good!
My sis in law said…grocery prices are going up…….well not for US!!!!
        Cindy and Dana…YOU ROCK!

        • Great Comment! Just tell your sis-in-law that she needs to read Living Rich with Coupons 🙂

          • rachael

hey everyone! I have 2 inserts from ss 1/2 but neither one have the healthy choice q’s in them? What is on the cover of the inserts? I am sorry for asking, but I just spent over n hour looking through about 30 inserts and I am beyond myself. I even looked at the past online previews and nothing mentioned healthy choice?

            • The Cover of my insert is an ad for Sears Optical. It came from the Philly Inquirer.

              • Kathryn

Mine did not have it either.

  • Kelly

Is that price on the Peter Pan peanut butter right? My ad says 1.69 and I am in Camden County

    • OHHH..sorry you are right! Typo…The sale price is $1.69 I make mistakes when I’m this excited 🙂

  • Lisa

Has anyone done this deal with coupons because when I read my circular it says “Minimum purchase requirement calculated after maunfacturer coupons”. So I am just wondering what that means exactly. Thank you.

    • Acme keeps adding that wording to their catalina deals, but so far using a coupon doesn’t change anything. Just make sure the regular prices of your items add up to $30+ (And yes I’ve done this with coupons…no problems at all)

      • Oh no…I meant $25+…not $30. My mind is still stuck in Pathmark buying cereal. (that was last week’s hot deal)

    • Carolyn

@Lisa – I have an issue with this at my Maryland store. When it happens, I just call the Catalina company and they mail me the Catalinas that I should have received at the store. Kind of an inconvenience but worth it sometimes!

      • Lisa

Thank you for responding. I have done Catalina’s at Acme before and just never noticed that wording. I will proceed as if I never saw it. (LOL)

  • Crystal

I’m confused on how this deal works. My paper says minimum purchase requirement calculated after manufacturer coupons. So how are you spending so little and still getting the $10.

    • Crystal,
Even though the ad says that the deal only works after coupons, it still prints if you spend $25 (based on the regular prices). Coupons are not a factor. Just buy the correct items, spend at least $25, and you will get the $10 cat!

      • Crystal

Thanks Dana…I can’t wait to go shopping.

  • Kelly

ok, thanks Dana. That’s what I thought. Too bad it isn’t $1.00 because I bought coupons for another PP PB deal and they didn’t get here in time. 🙁 Oh well, .69 for PB isn’t bad. Also, Do we need to reach $30 or $25 based on regular price? I am definitely hitting up Acme for soup, pudding and Pb !

    • Kelly I need you to keep watching me! You have to spend $25 not $30 ( I was thinking about last week’s crazy Pathmark deal…it’s all just too much math 🙂

  • ahuva

just FYI the : 1/1 Marie Callender’s Fresh Mixers printable is for 2 items not 1!

  • Cindy V

Came back and it only rolled twice for me— on the third transaction, it did not print another $10 catalina even though I definitely bought enough to qualify!

  • Kelly

hmmm, good to know, thanks Cindy V.

  • i tried rolling this catalina three times–worked like a charm the first two and on the third nothin! i didn’t complain because i was working off of shelf price–but could some stores limit it to 2 per day or something?
    {(third transaction that didn’t trigger cat was 12 pudding ($1.79 shelf x 12 = 21.48) and 2 soup ($2.69 shelf x 2 =$5.38) $26.84 shelf price, $14 sale price.}

    • What kind of pudding and what flavor of soup did you buy? There isn’t a limit. I actually did it 4 times back to back. Was the 3rd time at the same register as the first 2? Do you think it could have been the machine? Let’s figure this out!

      • everything rang up sale price and had the special tags underneath–i actually think the machine was out of paper because i didn’t get any catalina coupons and something ALWAYS prints out! i didn’t want to take it to customer service because i bought on shelf price and not sale price and usually that just confuses them! =)

        • Call Catalina 1-888-8Coupon with your receipt…they will ask you for the numbers, time, date, store etc.. and look up your transaction. If everything checks out ok they will send you a $10 Catalina print out.

          • will they still give me the $10 cat even though i worked the shelf instead of sale price? i hate to push my luck! =)

  • Cindy V

I think the problem with me was that the total was $27.90 (shelf prices). I then gave (3)$1 off coupons and one 60 cent coupon that doubled to $1.20. So, $4.20 in MF coupons, bringing the total shelf price down to $23.70- below the $25 mark. The flyer says something like the total has to be after MF coupons are applied. That is the only reason I can think of that I did not get another one. I am so annoyed!

    • Cindy V,
What did you buy when it didn’t print? Did anything come out of the machine? I’ll try and help.

  • Cindy V

    I bought:
    (2) Gulden’s Mustard
    (3) Hunts Tomatoes
    (1) Swiss Miss Cocoa
    (1) Hunts Manwich
    (3) Hunts Pudding
    (2) Pam Cooking Spray

    I had four coupons:
    (1) $0.60 off 3 Hunts Tomatoes
    (1) $1 off 2 Pam
    (1) $1 off 3 Hunts Puddings
    (1) $10 catalina

    Paid $1.80 OOP

    • It does look like you spent over $25. I would double check the prices listed on your receipt to make sure something didn’t ring up wrong. However, I think the most likely problem is machine malfunction. Did anything else come out of the machine? I would call 1-888-8coupon and have them check out your transaction.

      • Victoria

You have to be careful about the chashier when they are ringing things up. Back when that crazy catalina was happening with all the betty crocker stuff, I had a problem. I had done a certain transaction 3 times and it produced that catalina, no problem. Then the last time I did it, it didn’t. I talked to customer service who insisted on the “sale price” being the factor even though i showed that it was on the shelf price with my previous reciepts. Well, when I got home I realized the cashier had picked up one box (brownies) and scanned that same one several times thinking it was all the same on the belt, when some were cake (higher shelf price) and some were brownies (lower shelf price). He had scanned all the brownies and I was about .35 short of the $25 because he didn’t properly ring me up……ugh. Sorry for the long story but maybe the cashier thought the tomatoes and the manwhich were the same and didn’t ring up individually???

        • Victoria,
Great point! Another thing that sometimes happens when they do that is they don’t swipe the product enough times. I read a tip somewhere to count the beeps.

  • Fury

How do i use a catalina at a self checkout? I usually go to coupons at the end and then scan but it always beeps and they have to override. Am I doing this wrong?

  • Cindy V

good point girls. I am half tempted to return and rebuy to see what would happen. But then I’d probably lose some of my coupons and all that aggravation for $10. I’ll probably just chalk it up to a learning experience. It’s crazy how much it’s bothering me though! I was going to take that last $10 and buy produce. Oh well 🙁

I will give Catalina a shout out though.

  • Cindy V

Fury- I think it’s there form of coupon moderation. At least that’s how it is at my store.

    • Fury

So there is no way to avoid the Attendant? I guess i would be better off in a normal checkout line.

  • Jenny

I did a deal last night and did NOT get a catalina. I bought 2 snapple 6 packs and 5 cans of soup. It was clearly over the 25.00 shelf price. I used a 10.00 cat to pay. When they asked customer service, the guy said well you only spend 13.00. I said, it is based on shelf price. He had no clue. I said I would call catalina marketing. He was like OH. there is one of those? I just thought the machines were called catalinas. LOL. I am mad because now my deals are screwed up and I am afraid to try it again.

  • Cindy V

It’s crazy how clueless they are Jenny. The only time it kept working for me was when I bought all hot cocoa mix. But how much cocoa mix does one family need? I hope you get somewhere with Catalina Marketing.

    • Kelly

really Cindy? That was the only time it rolled? interesting. I am planning on heading out later today and trying a few scenarios. I will definitely add the cocoa mix into my deals.

      • Fury

Worked for me 3 times last night rolled with several different items per transaction. I bought 5 cocoa and 5 soup first trans.
Second 1 mustard, 3 snack packs, 3 soup, 4 cocoa
        Third 1 mustard, 3 snack packs, 1 manwich, 4 cocoa, 2 soups.
I made sure to buy 11 items each on the second and thirds and have had no problems getting the coupon again. I will attempt to try again Sunday.

        • Fury

4th transaction…no cat printout. Also the 3rd cat from last night would not scan in, they had to do an override for the credit.
today added in chef boy r dee for the first time, not sure if this is causing the issue. 4 CBOD, 4 cocoa, 1 manwich, 2 soup ~26 total no cat. Been a busy day, we will call catalina tomm.

  • sindy serna

if i do two transactions, can i pay the 2nd transaction with the 10 catalina i get from the first one?

  • Maggie

I went last night and did 2 transactions, both worked perfectly. 1st was 9 boxes of hot chocolate and 2nd was 10 cans of soup. I am going to go back today to get pudding, pb, ketchup, and healthy choice meals. I went to the self scanning station and just gave the attendant the $10 catalina from #1 to pay for #2. Didn’t have a problem.

  • love couponing

I live in south jersey and we never get the great coupons most of you talk about on this forum. I purchased the All You magazine at Wallmart and that’s where i got the coupons to do these deals. So, i always have to come up with my own deals. I Still manage to get awesome deals, thanks to this great forum!

    • Victoria

I hear you on that one!!!! I go between being grateful (which I always am,lol) and getting frustrated that I always have to order my coupon inserts from ebay!!! Still great deals though!!!

  • p

am i right thinking i can buy 4 snapples (no coupons) for $20 and get the $10 cat? Thanks

    • Yep that’s right! In the end the total cost of 4 Snapples would be $10…If you want to take the time to do 2 transactions you could do:
      2 Snapples
      4 Healthy Choice Soups
      1 Ketchup (or Mustard)
      Pay $15
      Get $10
      Final $5
Do this 2 times and you’re getting your 4 packs of snapple (for the same out of pocket price) plus some other stuff. This would be even cheaper if you have soup coupons.

      • Lisa C

You would probably be better off splitting this into 2 sep transactions, mainly because after each Snapple I bought a $1/2 6 packs coupon printed out of the Catalina Machine. So you would get more product and spend $1 less by splitting it into 2 transactions

        • Rachel

The Catalina did not print me out anything for the snapple… I was hopeful, but nope. I did get my regular ones. 🙂 I wanted the snapple’s no matter what, so I got them anyway! Good deal.

(got 1 snapple first transaction, then got 2 snapples in my second…)

          • Rachel

oops, I meant to say I did get my regular $10 dollar catalinas for the transactions. That might have sounded confusing.

            • Lisa C

Oh man…sorry you didnt get the snapple cat, I got 1 after I scanned each one (2 different transactions)….maybe I was just the chosen one lol…I am glad you got the regular catalinas though

              • Rachel

I am guessing it is because I was buying the 12 pack (plastic bottles) and not the 6 pack (glass bottles). It was .20 cents more to get twice the amount of snapple, so in the end I think its ok 🙂

  • Lisa C

I just did 3 transactions at my Acme, with very little coupons

    1st Transaction:
    5 Soups & 5 Hot Chocolate
    $10
    Rec $10 Cat

    2nd Transaction
    5 Chef Boyardee
    2 Fresh Mixers
    1 Hot Chocolate
    1 Snapple 6 pk
Used – $10 cat, $1 off Snapple, $1/2 Fresh Mixers (printed online)
    Total- $4 & Rec $10 Cat

    3rd Transaction
    6 Cans of tomatoes
    2 Fresh Mixers
    1 Snapple 6 pk
    1 Ketchup
Used- $10 cat, $1/2 Fresh Mixers, 2 – $.45/3 Hunts Tom (both fully doubled), $1 off Snapple
    Total- $3.20 & Rec $10 Cat

I will be most likely going back later in the week to take advantage of this again

  • Mary ellen

I rolled this deal so many times between yesterday and today I’m dizzy. I am stocked on snapple, ketchup, mustard, pudding, oil, margarine andpam. I bought tomatoes and had no problems at all. I go to self check out and ring up till I hit 25.00, then I scan my acme card, and give coupons to the girl that watches the self checkouts, in Randolph nj the only one with the problem is me, I think I’m getting addicted to coupons!!!!Anyone have an 800 number for that??????

    • Some people play the slots…we play the cash register!

      • Bernell

        Dana….i love that!!

    • Fury

I use the Randolph one as well. On my 4th transaction Saturday it didnt print my cat. Ive never called catalina before, how long does it take to receive it?

    • Jenny

You do know that you dont really have to spend 25.00 because it is on shelf price.

    • Bernell

      Mary Ellen,
Thanks so much for that idea..and I’m glad I did it (ring til I hit $25) b/c..I assumed my hot chocolate shelf price was 2.99 (but it was 2.69), shelf total was $24.69 so I had to add a snack pack pudding to the order!

  • Mary ellen

    Ugggggh I do both

  • there are better odds when playing the cash register! We are guaranteed a win every time if we play right!!

  • Jenny

I called the Catalina company today. They verified my recipt and they are sending me a 10.00 coupon. Doesn’t help for now, but I am waiting on some 1/2 soup coupons I ordered on ebay. Can’t wait for them to come!

    • Cindy

Yay! So glad you are getting it.

  • Mary ellen

Fury, it would be nice if acme restocked their selves soon. There is almost no snapple, I may have to go to Morris plains but I like the self check out in randolph

    • Fury

I have not been there since saturday, my 4th transaction didnt print out a catalina. Tempted to start up a new set, but i guess if they dont have stock left its not really worth it. The Randolph one is a much nicer store, and yeah the morris plains doesnt have a self checkout. At least its only like 5-10 mins away. How many times have you rolled this so far? I have a decent stockpile of soup and cocoa, but i wanted more of the others. Whats the best way to build up a snapple stock without any Q’s?

  • Mary ellen

Irolled it at least 10 times and brought the stuff to a friend that has 5 kids and could really use the pudding, mustard, ketchup, plus I had some cereal from path mark last week and pasta and oatmeal from shop rite. My son liked the soup,so I might go back today ,but I am stocking up on snapple so I think I have to go To
    MOrris plains

  • Mary ellen

I only bought 2 snapple at a time, and there were 1.00 off coupons one week, I had 6 but sometimes I was getting 1.00 Catalinas too, I can’t figure out why sometimes the 100 comes out and sometimes not. Do I know you I’m in shongum, I make curtains for almost everyone in town.

    • Fury

Im actually up in Stanhope, and new to the whole coupon thing. I am really enjoying getting good deals thou. Ill have to remember you when i need some new curtains 🙂

  • Rachel

I was sad to see the stock for some of these things (mainly snapple) get really low, but I asked one of the clerks who was in that aisle how often they got new deliveries for snapples. He said the truck came daily, in the morning, so when I tried again I made sure it was in mid-morning and sure enough, they had re-stocked. My husband has had lots of luck at many stores getting items that I thought were just never getting re-stocked since there was never any when I was there… turns out getting there in the morning is often one of the best times to get stuff.

  • Heather

I am in South Jersey, and have not had a problem at all with Catalinas printing out. I go to the self checkout, so I can watch what I am doing, and the attendant does the coupons. It is awesome….it keeps rolling, and rollling…and rolling. Got lots of cocoa, soup and pudding. I am looking forward to getting my coupons I ordered so I can get Snapple, peanut butter and more! Yes this is addicting, and yes I can think of alot worse things to be addicted to 🙂

  • Victoria

Has anyone else ever felt like they were in the twilight zone with coupon inserts???? I am telling you, I do not have about 80% of the coupons listed above in any of my inserts and NONE from my All You magazine!!!! Thank God great deals are still to be had, but sometimes, i just wish I had all these coupons! Sorry, had to vent….but I am grateful for all these deals.

    • Bernell

I don’t get pretty much ANY of the coupons…so I order them from Ebay!!! I only order from Ebay when there are moneymaking sales!
I usually buy 2 newspapers every Sunday from Rite Aid (20% discount) and I use $2 UPR, and pay .80 OOP! And I order any others from DeDe or Couponhunter.
But lately I’ve been ordering from Ebay because Shoprite and Acme have been AWESOME~~

      • kathy

How do you get a 20% discount on the paper? And, does it take long to get the coupons from the mail?

        • Bernell

I accumulated 1000 pts (b/f coupons of course) in 2010, and once you hit 1000, you get 20% off anything in store!!! THis includes newspapers!
It doesn’t take long at all to get my coupons via Ebay.
I ordered all of my coupons for this catalina on Friday and received most of them Monday! The only thing with Ebay is, most of them are in quantities of 20!

  • kathy

I’m confused about this deal. I thought we had to spend $25 to get the $10 oyno deal. Buy 10 Healthy Choice Can Soup
    Use (5) $1/2
    Pay $5
    Get $10 OYNO
    Final Price: $5.00 Money Maker
No Soup Coupons? Pay $10…Get $10

    • Fury

catalinas are based on shelf price. Soups are 2.69 so 10 soups is 26.90

  • Mary ellen

Randolph acme restocked their selves, but my Catalina didntprint ughhhhhh have to wait for Otto come in the mail

    • Fury

im waiting myself, i called and the automated answering said to send an email. I sent that but never got any kind of response or confirmation. This is my first time doing this, am I doing something wrong?

      • Cindy V

I sent an email too. I’ll give it another day then I’ll call and see if I can speak to someone. Do they send you a catalina in the mail then?

  • Mary ellen

I called and the man took all my info Nd said it would come in the mail

  • Bernell

I would love to know how many puddings, hot chocolates, and snapples we all purchased this week!!!!!LOL
It was a great week at Acme, and I will have to go one Last time tonight to bid farewell!

  • Lisa C

I am pretty sure that I did this deal 10 times! Ididnt have any problems with the Catalina printing, or stock levels (I guess I lucked out!). I went tonight to roll the deal a couple last times and got 21 cans of soup, and 12 cans of chef boyardee for $3 oop

I will be dropping a lot of at the food bank this weekend!

    • Bernell

same here….I know I rolled that catalina at least 12-13 times…I’m actually exhausted!! I really wanted the Snapple and my kids love pudding….but my church’s food pantry will definitely see me! But I figure…I spent about $8 for my coupons, and paid OOP- around $24.00 for over $450 worth of items. that was cheaper than all the cases of snapple I bought over this week!
Thanks Cindy and Dana…….it is time for a major break!

      • Lisa

No time for a break…the Shoprite Dollar Days are coming!!! lol!

        • Bernell

          LISA>>>>>YOU ARE FUNNY!!!!
          YOU ARE RIGHT!!
          SHOPRITE…HERE I COME!!!!! WOO HOO!!

  • JJ

Couldn’t find anywhere to put this:
Acme has Duncan Hines brownie mix on sale for $1/box. If you printed the $0.50/1 coupon, that makes them free (after doubling)!
I went today and got (4) DH brownie mix, (2) BC cake mix and (2) BC frosting for $4.00 🙂
