Reminder: Print Your Coupons Before They Reset!

Just a reminder that it’s almost the end of the month.  Which means that a lot of the coupons on Coupons.com, Smart Source & Red Plum will reset very soon.  So, if there is something you have been meaning to print you should do it now because once they reset you may be able to print them again.

Plus, there are a few coupons that will be gone as of the end of the month, so get them while you can.

Giveaway: $50 Home Depot Gift Card & My Bathroom Redo Pictures

If you remember back at the end of January, I mentioned that Home Depot was having a Redo & Renew Bathroom sale.  My husband and I head to Home Depot to check  out the prices so we could replace some sadly deteriorating fixtures in our bathrooms.

Well, we had a successful trip, getting a new shower head, faucet and light fixture for under $250, which was our budget. The next trick was to get them installed.  And, after a few bumps in the road, such as not being able to turn the water off to replace the faucet, we were finally successful.  Or, I should say my husband was.  I just told him which bathroom I wanted them in.  I think my job was the harder one…hehe.

Anyway, here are the before and after pictures.

The new shower head is my favorite.  Oh my goodness, I am in love with it.  We put this in our downstairs bathroom which is the bathroom that my husband and I use.  Talk about heaven.  If you have to replace your shower head, you might want to consider one of these waterfall shower heads.

And in our upstairs bathroom (the one that the kids use) we replaced the faucet.  Now the water doesn’t shoot all over the mirror when you turn it on which is definitely better then constantly having to wash the mirror due to watermarks.

And, we also replaced the light fixture with a much brighter fixture. Since the bathroom does not have a window, the brighter lights are great.  Now I can see the mess my kids leave a lot easier.

In the end, I am pretty pleased with the results and just happy that I stayed downstairs when my husband was replacing the faucet.  I don’t think he was too happy when,  what he thought would take a couple of hours turned into a couple of  days.   But, in the end, it’s done and looks great.  And, we are still married :)
