Possible Living Social & Groupon Superbowl Deals & Cheap Turkey Chili

My favorite thing about the Superbowl?  The commercials.  Well, it would have been the Jets playing but that just didn’t happen.

But, it looks like we have the war of the Superbowl commercials.  Or should I say the war of the Daily Deals sites Superbowl Commercials.   The 2 top Daily Deals sites, Living Social and Groupon, will be having ads either right before or during the Superbowl today.  Rumor has it that we may be seeing some deals as well.  I’m not completely sure on that but I will certainly be watching for them.

On another Superbowl note, I’m cooking up a bowl of Turkey Chili to bring to my brothers house.  When I figured out how much it cost, I was surprised to find out that it cost me only $0.83.  And that was including the cheese and sour cream.

Do you have any great plans for the Superbowl.  Did you whip up a great, inexpensive meal as well?  Let us know your favorite Superbowl commercial.

WTG for that frugal chili 🙂 I bet it tasted delicious!
Was anyone else annoyed and slightly surprised at the Groupon commercials?
I thought they were a bit tasteless, which is a shame, because I really liked that website!
