how do these gift certificates work? Does it mean that I buy them for $2 and I get to buy things for $25?. This sounds not realistic.

That’s how it works. I have been using Restaurant.com certificates for years. Now they do not expire. Just be careful to read and follow all stipulations for that coupon. Unlike Entertainment book coupons which allow 3 coupons per table, Restaurant.com certificates allow only 1 certificate per table. I have a separate folder that I keep my certificates in for a quick find. You can also give these certificates as gifts. Remember to tell waitress you have them at beginning and ask if there are any exclusions on the menu. This will save you headaches at the end of the meal when the bill comes. If you are planning to have more people go out to dinner with you, try to purchase a $50 or $100 certificate. Enjoy!!
