ShopRite Dollar Days Are Coming!

Well it looks like we have a fun couple of weeks coming up at ShopRite starting on Sunday.  As if each week shopping at ShopRite isn’t already fun!  But, Sunday begins a new round of ShopRite Dollar Days.

These are usually Buy X Get $X.  You can take a look at previous Dollar Days sales if you are not familiar with them.

So far, from readers who have let me know, these are the brands we are looking at for next week:

  • ConAgra
  • Nestle
  • Reckitt Benckiser
  • Unilever
  • Pompeian
  • P&G

If you get a catalina printout with more information, please let us know.

I started my coupon hobby back in mid-January and just like Cindy I cannot believe how exciting shopping has become 🙂 I have always used coupons but never used them strategically on an on-going basis. Now I have half of my basement stocked with thousands of products (most of which I took advantage of as free). Even factoring in the items which I layed out money for, my total out of pocket expense overall was less than $50. Considering I have filled 16 ceiling to floor shelves which are 5 foot wide by 1 foot deep is amazing!! I have to clean up on more Redpack, Santa Cruz juices and Mom’s Cereal this week so I am ready for next week’s bliss!!! I am happy I printed out my Clorox coupons too!! Tonight will be a printing frenzy to match next week’s sales 🙂

  • Cindy V

how do you ladies know which coupons to print??? I want in on this too! I want a floor to ceiling stockpile!

  • Barbara A

Ooooooh noooo. I can’t give away the stuff I get fast enough. Just kidding everyone I give it to appreciates it all so much. Looks like I will be making a lot of people really happy next week. My dollar days rewards certificate had Dole in fine print and the other had General Mills.

  • Jennifer

The Pompeian link for coupons from the last Dollar Days sale still works. $.50 off of vinegar, and $1.00 off of olive oil. Now to start borrowing everyone’s computer to print :0)

For me, the big question is going to be how are the Catalinas coded. Can you use more than one on an order, or more than one from the same manufacturer? My store is VERY strict about this stuff…and I dont want to end up having to make daily trips over the next 4 weeks just to use up the Catalinas I get. For example, I did the Purina deal twice, but they will only let me use one Catalina on an order.

    From the ShopRite website (www.shoprite.com):

I did a search for Dollar Days in the search field and it linked me to this page: (http://www.shoprite.com/Cnt/DollarDays.html)

    …where I found this file: (http://www.shoprite.com/Cnt/documents/227DollarDayswebsite.pdf)

I think that’s outlining all the items that are consider valid purchases for the Dollar Days deal. Check it out! 🙂

    • Lori

      Awesome Carson! Thanks so much.

    • Cindy

Oh yay Carson! I think that is the list for Week 2.

I have a question regarding the cats from dollar days and the new shop rite coupon policy. Do cats count as the “4 like coupons per transaction per day”?

I have 5 shoprites about 5-10 mins driving distance between eachother and my house and on the last pet cat I did, I did it 5 times so each week for the last few weeks I have had $25 in pet cats. Problem is, every store I have gone to is making me use the 5th cat in a separate trans because it’s a “like” coupon.

Last dollar days one store tried that but overall left me alone.

So, what is the official word on “OYNO” or “OYNO of x” cats for you all? 4 per trans or use em all with out issue?

Also, side note: went to SR last night (3 stores) and got 36 boxes of pasta for $3. The garden delight was giving the overage so coupled with the healthy harvest and smart taste, it was like getting 4 of those boxes for free too. The last store however actually adjusted the coupon down. I hate that. Won’t they stll get the $1 from the manufacturer? I know overage is a gift, not a right, but it stinks when 2 of 3 stores don’t adjust down and the last one does. Oh well. It was still a great run overall. Thanks!
