Shoprite has the powder Tide stain release on clearance for some reason. I got one 26 oz, for $3.24 and used a dollar coupon. I bought two, but they didnt count towards the catalina deal last week, but who cares, it works great and was cheap. :)

Question: CVS publishes coupons on their site called In-Store Coupons, however when you print them out they say Manufacturer Coupon… is this like the other stores – were they can be paired up with ones clipped from the Sunday Paper?

Anyone else having trouble with the John Frieda coupon? I filled out the questionnaire about my hair on their site 2x, but still no coupon. Is there something else I need to do?

@Elisha – I looked at the coupons on the CVS website that you’re referring to. Since these are regular manufacturer coupons you could not team them up with another manufacturer’s coupon. These are some of the same coupons on coupons.com. Sorry.

The CVS red scanner printed out a $1.00 off Dove coupon for me today… that would make the Easter Candy deal $1/1… Buy 4 Dove egg bags at $3ea. to get over $10… use (4) $1/1 coupons from 03/06 plus the CVS coupon $1/1 = $7 for 4 – $3 ECB = $1/1 or $4 total… and I got $5 ECB from the razor deal today, so FREE Chocolate!!!

I had an strange thing happen at CVS last night. I bought the Wisk deal – buy 2/$10 and get $2ECB + (2) – $2 coupons, the L’Oreal nailpolish $4.99 and get $3 ECB + $1 coupon, L’Oreal mascara $7.49 and get $4 ECB + $1 coupon, two 3 packs of Colgate toothbrushes $2.99 and get $3 ECB (it did not print for these 2, but they forced it to print after I paid). Came to $19.10 and I got $15ECB. My next sale was for 2 Schick disposable razor 2 pks $1.29 + (2) $1 coupons, 2 CVS brand peanuts on sale for 2/$5 and 2 Colgate 360 toothbrushes on sale for $1.24 – I had (2) $0.35 coupons for these, but the register said I did not purchase them. The cashier was puzzled and called over the shift supervisor, who is typically impressed by my couponing. He said that if it was on sale they could not take the coupons, that he could not argue with the register, it was a machine and it knew the policy, etc. I said I never heard of such a policy, that a sale should be the same as a store coupon and these were manufacturer coupons, but still nothing. I said that I would go home and check the CVS coupon policy and he said okay. I do not see anything like that listed under CVS’s coupon policy. Has anyone else ever heard of this? I know it was only $0.70, but it really irked me and I want to know if this is going to continue to be a problem at CVS. I sent an e-mail to their customer care dept explaining what happened and asking for clarification. All that said, for my 2nd sale I gave her $8 in ECB + the (2) $1 coupons and only had to pay $0.20 and went home with $7 ECB so that was pretty good. Hopefully the supervisor was in error and this is not some new crazy coupon policy.

Update: I e-mailed CVS and they replied telling me to call customer service. CS apologized and said that this was not some new CVS coupon policy and that they would immediately text the store manager to review the coupon policy with his staff and that I would not have a problem there again. So I went back last night to get a couple things that I didn’t have coupons with me for the night before and to get credit for the coupons they didn’t take the night before. The same supervisor was there and he was on register. He got a little funny when he saw me. I told him that I did go home and check the policy and when it appeared that my coupons should have been accepted I contacted CS who said that it was their policy to take coupons on sale items and that if the register gives a problem and the coupon is for the correct item and not expired the cashier should push it through. I was trying to be nice about this, but he wasn’t really responding favorably and kept saying if the register doesn’t match it up then what can he do. I repeated what CS said and said at other stores this happens all the time and they push coupons through. He started ringing up my few items and when other people got on line behind me he kept sending them to the pharmacy saying that my sale was going to take a long time because I had coupons. Again a coupon (for nail polish) wouldn’t go through. It was clearly the same as was on the picture on the coupon, but he tried to insist it wasn’t the correct one or the register would take it. Eventually he pushed it through and acted like he was giving me a free $1 I wasn’t deserving of. He continued telling people to go to the other register because my sale was going to take so long (I had 4 bags of Easter candy with 4 coupons for them, a nail polish with a coupon, 2 hair things and a body wash). I also had the CVS coupon deal from yesterday for a free drink or candy item. The register wasn’t able to scan it and when he tried to tell me it was no good I showed him where it said if the register couldn’t scan it to enter a code number. He said he couldn’t read it so I offered to read it to him. He took it and entered something and said it still wouldn’t take it and I could take my coupons to corporate and get them redeemed! He then said to do that or come back during the day and let them give me credit. I was so upset. He took about 10 minutes to do this small sale and so many people were witnessing him give me such a hard time. He said that I was holding up the line and inconveniencing all the other customers with my sale. To top it all off I got home and realized I was overcharged $4.50. I have never had such a terrible coupon experience!

the employees just don’t understand, they think we magically come up with these coupons and magically get everything in order with a moments notice. they always want to screw us out of 15cents at every turn.

I don’t know if they have ever tried clipping coupons and doing all the work we do just to get these offers, they should be more understanding and not try to make it their goal to foil our every coupon.
