I thought the Zavers ecoupon was a manufacturer coupon and could not be used with another manufacturer coupon. Is this right? Once I tried using it with Wishbone dressing and they told me one or the other.

The Pathmark deals feel so anti-climactic this week after all the SR fun the past 2 wks!

Pathmark & A&P deals have really been dead lately. Since the announcement of the other stores closing, I think they have increased their prices and slowed down on the deals. Hopefully, once they readjust, it will be back.

I’m sad about the announced PM closings. I have 2 nearby…one is a pain as a store and with Qs but is a good location (I can double dip with S&S), the other further away but is much better…naturally it is the better (and bigger) one that’s closing. :(

I don’t think any deal will ever be as fun as the past two weeks were! :) Thanks SO MUCH for pulling everything together for us, Cindy!

I’ve noticed this too. For me, PM is the only store around me that will double a .75/1 coupon to 1.50 so sometimes my coupons have more “value”.

I’ve nearly given up on PM. When I started doing a grocery price book a few months back and realized they were literally charging dollars more than S&S I actually got angry at the store. lol We lost all our Waldbaum’s & A&Ps a couple years ago to King Kullen a couple years ago – and they are even worse! Prices are almost scandalous there, they rarely have a sale, and even when they do half the time it rings up regular price. Sneaky sneaky. Would you believe that store has the nerve to charge $7.99 for a carton of Breyer’s ice cream?! Is it filled with gold now? Sorry guys, just needed to rant a little since my DH is getting sick of listening to this conversation over and over. lol

I have noticed a good deal on Gortons’s Seafood Line 50% off , and save $2 instantly when you buy 3 items. Last week there was $1 off coupon in SS or RP. I think that should get us some cheap fish :)

Pathmark had the worst customer service. I rarely went there to shop with coupons. I had a couple of bad experiences and I told them, it would a cold day in hell before I set foot in their store, didn’t matter how good the deals were. It is not surprise that SuperFresh, Pathmark etc will soon close their stores, how can you do well if you treat customers like crap? Giant prices are not great but the ones I go to, they will do almost anything to accomodate the customers. Acme is probably next to close. Good customer service is key to staying in business. Wegman’s prices are high but they are always full with customers because they carry quality products and have great customer service.
