Thanks cindy I was waiting for this post all afternoon. Two question are all general mills cereals included and will the milk catalina print out as well?

No milk cat and the 5 BC fruit snack was regular price. My store only takes 2 internet coupons, so I did your deal and used my $7.00 cat from the Unilever back a little while ago. Kept saving it till the last minute! bought cookies so my oop was $4 and change…….Now gonna roll this one!

I was concocting my own deal when I saw you posted it based off the retail price, not the sale price..
Can anyone confirm the $8 CAT prints out based on the retail price?
I did this deal today…4 chex, 2 cheerios, 2 cinnamon toast crunch. My oop was 0.85 and I got the $8 cat. I used all internet printed q’s and the ezaver for the chex. My stores shelf prices were 3.49 cheerios, 3.59 cinnamon toast crunch, and chex was 4.59.
I did this deal today too.
4 Chex (3.99) 4 X 75/1 and 1 Chex Zavers 75/1
4 Cinnamon Toast Crunch (3.59) 4 X 55/1
Total opp .85c
and the $8 cat printed

Yes, they fully double any coupon under a dollar, so the 75=1.50 and 55=1.10.
So Chex 4 x 1.50= 6.00 minus 4 x.75 that double to 1.50 =free
Cinnamon Toast 4 x 1.50 minus 4 X .55 that double to 1.10=.40c each
So total was 1.60 minus .75 chex saver= .85c

Went last night for the cereal, a big mess.. had to buy 9 bxs (8 bxs came out to 29.98!!!) after talking with cs, walked out with 18 bxs 2 separate trans of 3.45 and 16 in cats = a happy shopper
Does Pathmark give that .05 reusable bag credit? Because 8 boxes of cereal – you would need 2 bags (at least) , that would be another .10.
BTW – If anyone here is 55+, my Pathmark has an coupon in the paper that they get an extra discount off their whole order this upcoming Monday.
Coupons.com has a $.75 q off any kraft 2% singles. If these are include in the sale, it’ll be $.66 a pack.

I went to Pathmark yesterday and i exactly follow what MO bought,i didnt get my cat of $8,instead i got a $2 checkout ,it says save $2 on any 5 general mills .

Just got back from Pathmark. Bought 4 Honey Nut Chex, 3 Cheerios, and 1 Cinnamon Toast Crunch. OOP was $2.00 (One of my coupons didn’t double), and my $8 Cat did print. I’ll go back to do it again. Does anyone know if it will roll – I’d like to get some cereal that I don’t have coupons for, but don’t want to jeopardize getting my Cat.

You can do the deal again and you will get another catalina. And you can use the $8 catalina to pay for your next trip and still get another catalina

No you can only use 1 per transaction, the VERY rude manager told me that yesterday.

yes. my cashier almost had a panic attack when the extra .75 came off the bill. Then another 1 when the $8 cat printed.
The deal is working great at my Pathmark’s in Toms River and Brick. I got 16 boxes of cereal and paid $3.90 total. My first transaction was $3.20 and my second was $0.70. I recieved both the $8.00 off your order and the $2.00 general mills catalinas both times.
Fantastic. I love Honey Nut Chex and my toddler loves cheerios. I have another set of these q’s to get the cereal for $1.60 And then I have a bunch of q’s to get cereal for .40. They’re not cereals I’ll use, but I’m sure the pantry my church partners with can use them. And if I’m still going to get an $8 cat – those cereals will be free too. Got to get my printer going.

The PM q i got in the mail was off my whole order, but the order had to be over $50. But I wonder, is that off shelf, or is that after sales and q’s?

For the GM, you can get Chex .75/1 coupons from couponnetwork.com and coupons.com. If you can print up 4 from each place (2 computers), then you would Get 8 boxes of Chex for $6 and get the $8 OYNO Cat. If you have the .75 Zavers q or if you store makes the .75/1 q a $1/1 q – you’d save more.
Never mind – Pathmark will only let you use 4 of each type of IP.
Did our trip to the Toms River Pathmark and did 2 boxes of Chex, 2 boxes of Trix, 4 boxes of betty crocker Fruit snacks and 2 boxes of Nature valley bars so I was over what I even needed to be and did not get a catalina. As a matter of fact, the girl in front of me did not get one either so we went to customer service to complain about it(which the lady didnt even know about the deal tried telling us it was only on the cereal nothing else) and after bugging her for 20 minutes she decided to give us both back $8.00in cash and I left happy. Its just such a bummer sometimes that the clerks dont even know what sales they have going on!

I paid $0.85 OOP and got my $8 cat. The shelf price for the Honey Nut Chex and Cinnamon Chex was $4.99! The Cinnamon Toast Crunch had a shelf price of $3.89. Can you imagine paying $5 for a box of cereal?!
I used my cat right away and paid $7 total for [8] boxes of cereal, chocolate Easter rabbit, bag of Easter cotton candy, box of frozen french toast sticks, gallon of organic milk, 3 rolls, Kraft singles, and a loaf of Italian bread. Not too shabby!

I just got back from my 3rd Pathmark trip in Toms River. This is the first time I tried to do it with the fruit snacks instead of only cereal. I bought 4 boxes of cereal and 8 boxes of fruit snacks. The Cat did NOT print this time! I went to customer service to compain and they gave me an $8.00 rain check good off my next order. They said that they have been having this problem with the fruit snacks all day. I ended up paying $3.27 OOP for all 12 items (half of this was tax).
I did 2 transactions in the Toms River store this morning and of coarse….both cats did NOT print! It’s the FRUIT SNACKS that are NOT linking to the cat deal. CS now has a note at their desk saying to give an $8 rain check. I think when I go to do it again….I’m going to ask them to ring me up at CS so I dont have to keep going back and forth! P.S. the lady working the self checkout says to me….”Ummm I see you have the Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks. They are NOT a part of General Mills, so if you’re trying to do the $8 deal….it won’t work!” I said….do you have a flyer……LOOK AT IT! Flips to the cat page and she says…”Ohhhhhhhh!” Really! Know what you’re talking about before you look like a TOTAL ass!

So it seems like everyone is having a problem with the CATS printing if you get the fruit snacks with cereal.
I wonder if it’ll be a problem if I do all fruit snacks and yoplait yogurt and maybe some other items.

Did 3 transactions at PM tonight, used coupons from coupons.com, smartsource.com, and coupon network.com. Bought 12 boxes chex cereal, 3 cin tst crunch, 5 boxes reg. cheerios, and 4 boxes of trix, ezavers cpns for chex, trix and cheerios, OOP$2.75, got $24.00 in catalinas.
Went to PM yesterday and get 4 chex,2 trix and 2 cinnamon toast,i gave all my 8 cpns but the cashier said he can only take 4 as he have ask the manager,is this right?
I’ve heard that many PM stores will take a max of 2 like IP coupons. So in your case, I’m thinking at the very least, they should’ve taken [2] Chex IPs, [2] Trix, and [2] Cinnamon Toast Crunch. Maybe you can try calling corporate?

Josie I think the Cinn got pulled yesterday. It was there in the morning but when I went it was gone. Also the zsaver chex didn’t come off for me
is it policy to only accept 4 of each coupon? Not IP coupons, but straight from SS? I was trying to use my cats in conjunction with a bunch of Ellios coupons and after waiting for 20 mins she said I had too many coupons and that if they allowed it then annyyone could just go collect them and do the same…. that’s exactly what she said.. am i wrong here??
Most stores, I believe PathMark included, only except 4 like coupons per transaction. So lets say you had 8 boxes of Ellios pizza, break them up into [2] orders of 4 so you can use all [8] of your coupons.
Coupons can be used with cats as well. For example, after purchasing 4 boxes of Ellios and using [4] coupons, your balance is $5. You can use your cats to pay the differnce. Stores usually won’t give overage so if your cat is for $7, you’ll need a $2 filler item/s.
As far as actally limiting transactions, I’m not too sure. How many did you try and do?

After my second CAT beeped, she came over and assessed the situation and decided to check me out elsewhere …20 mins later the rude manager denied me so I left without purchasing them…

I think this one is for Cindy lol! I mean you can try calling corporate; the worse they can say it that it’s at the discression of whomever is at CS or the manager. I think they should’ve at least let you split up the orders so you could use all your coupons.
I’m just going to go to the Pathmark down the road and do a handful of separate transactions and maybe come back the next day and do the same.. I guess you have to spread it out a bit sometimes!

I did the same thing. The stores make it confusing, because the choc chex is included in the sale but, not in the catalina.

IF you’re certain that you only purchased items that count toward the deal (i messed up and got choc chex, they weren’t included), email catalina mktg. they are really pretty awesome and if you’re due the cat, they’ll give it to you.
SO there were a lot of comments on this post…i skimmed through but I’m not sure if this is a repeat question… at my store (NE Philadelphia/Franklin Mills) they said they change the store policy a month ago that catalinas are on sale price not shelf price. So I bought $31 (shelf price) but got no cat and was told i didn’t reach the amount by customer service bc it now goes by sale price. Also they said there is a store limit on cereal, so even if I wanted to try to get to $30 according to sale prices, I couldn’t buy any more cereal because I already purchased 6 boxes. I was bummed… I was all excited bc I bought 6 cereals, 3 cake mixes and a frosting and it came to $8.10 after coupons…but not catatlina… is that true, no more shelf prices?? Does it vary by store?

I’d love to see one of the Extreme Couponers from the show come to the Pathmark where I live, I couldnt even get 8 boxes of cereal without a problem and they didnt even know about the deal till I showed them.
