Yes, I get the Hillside circular delivered on Thursdays and find they have the best supercoupons. I live in Hillside, but usually shop in Garwood. I’ve seen the supercoupons for the Garwood area and they are are never as good.
Love the Hillside Shoprite with the Super coupons…it almost always makes those items a steal…..
The only problem I have in this area regarding coupons is my little white pack that I get is missing the coupon packets almost every other week…I have called the company to no avail
It makes me crazy when they do that. Don’t be afraid to call the paper and tell them to bring you your coupons. You paid for that paper, you should get the WHOLE paper, including coupons.

The tums deal worked for me based on the shelf price of $3.99 per bottle. I asked customer service and they said i only had to buy 4 bottles and it should work. I did that and used 4 coupons and got the exact same deal that Cindy posted above.

they r good for your next shopping order however some stores allow you 2 do 2 different transactions so you can use your cats right away ask in your store if this is allowed
I usually just split my CAT items and pay for them first, then use the cats on the rest of my stuff, in a separate transaction. Most of the cats won’t print until you pay, anyhow. Good luck!
Check your Goldfish crackers. My shoprite in Springfield, NJ has Goldfish Graham vanilla cupcake flavor with .75 peelies on it. The peelies are good on any graham flavor. That comes out to .50 a package.
Bobbi, you may ahve already printed out the coupons the max times allowed, which would disable the coupon . I just printed 2 of the solo coupons and they came out just fine.

Another way to just print the coupon from the Live Right issues would be to just enlarge your browser window and taking a screenshot of only the coupon. That should work…
the perdue coupon is NOT per pound it is per item, so it wont be $0.99 unless the package is one pound and generally the sale priced chicken is the larger packs
but probably still somewhat of a good deal
The perdue chicken is a 40% off promo, so even the smaller packs of chicken are on sale. I have found many packs at or around 1lb during these sales. When I used my q’s I wound up getting my chicken for under $.25 a package.
I just bought 1lb package of perdue ground chicken breast for $2.69 and used perdue chicken breast coupon. It worked perfect. I got 2 packages for $1.19 each.
I can’t find any coupon for Perdue Chicken Breast. ShopRite only has the 40% off. I am fairly new to couponing. Could I get some insight as to where to find this coupon? Not in the circular.
that coupon is from the 4/10 RP ….4/10 is the date RP = Red Plum insert, from the sunday paper, if you dont have it search online through a clipping service or ebay
Went to SR this morning, and the Reach toothbrushes were not on sale at my SR. They werent on sale the last time either, but $1.19 is still a great price with the Catalina. Also, I was there at 6:20 (20 minutes after they opened), and there were hardly any Solo cups left already! I dont know if someone cleaned them out already or if they hadnt stocked it yet or what, but that was disappointing. I plan on stocking up on cups this week so hopefully they will get more in stock.

Whenever you go and there’s nothing on the shelf, ask at customer service. Most of the times, they have it in the back and they will call and have someone bring it out for you. If not, you can get a rain check. But I’d say about 70% of the time when I do this, I’m able to get whatever I’m looking for within about 5 minutes.

My SR doesn’t have a travel section either but they are in the regluar toothbrush isle! They are usually “hidden” or out of stock! Give your tooth brush section a good look you may find them tucked away in the back!
My SR in Vails Gate, NY had only 2 in the travel section, but they did have another variety on sale for $1.19, which made them .19 with the coup, plus I got the cats too. You might look to see if your SR has any on sale.
Mr SR has a travel size section, but do not carry these brushes. Once, I did find 4 of these brushes there, but the majority of the time, these brushes aren’t in the travel section or the tooth brush section.
In the circular preview thread Lori indicated that the Angelsoft coupon (from the Angelsoft website) worked for her today… trying to confirm if anyone else has tried this and what it worked on… 6 double rolls or 12 single rolls. Thank in advance if anyone has tried!!
The Pampers catalina is working on shelf price! I bought 2 Jumbo packs ($8.99 each on sale, with 2 $2 off coupons) and I got the $3 catalina!
However, the Perdue chicken breasts were not as cheap as I had hoped. The regular breasts were$2.99 a lb, but we generally well over a pound per package (1.5-2lbs). I got the thin sliced and tenderloins, which were a little more expensive per pound ($3.50), but were in smaller packages (some under 1 lb). Obviously, the best deal is to get the smallest packs since the coupon is .75 off per package. I stocked up and made my family grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch!
Regarding last week’s Solo and Banana Boat/Wet Wipes cats:
Has anyone else had to contact Catalina? In the past when I ‘ve e mailed them with the info and my scanned receipt I get an e mail response with my confirmation number within hours but this time I still have not had any reply for them (sent my e last Thursday). Wondering if it’s due to the holiday or volume of inquiries on these cats. Has anyone else e’d them and already received a reply? TIA.
I think they are a little backed up this past week, probably due to the Banana boat cat being sketchy. Usually I get a response from them within a day or so but last week it was taking 3-4 days to hear back from them. I was getting worried too, but they eventually did get back to me for each email I sent them (3 total last week).
Most ShopRites will give you the catalina if it didn’t print. They have a binder with all the weekly catalina deals and they will just print one out. However, they won’t do it if you based your deal on the shelf prices despite the fact that the catalina are based on the shelf prices. I usually do my deals with the sales price, it is just too much hassle for me if the catalinas don’t print. Sometimes if it is a really good deal at the shelf price, I will use the shelf price and if it doesn’t work, I just return the items.
Customer service is getting better at ShopRite, they are a little less nasty these days. I avoided going there for a while to avoid getting aggravated by their nasty attitude.

Ruth, I never did Catalinas until this past March with the SR Dollar Days. At that time there were such lines at CS it just seemed easier to e mail Catalina (which went as smooth as silk!) so that’s just what I’ve been doing. Otherwise, my CS is terrific…all very nice and knowledgable.

Shoprite has Neosporin bandages on sale for .99 cents and with the $1 Neosporin printable coupon the bandages are free! So I got a couple of boxes for free since Walmart was all out when I tried to get some for free.

Went to SR last night, couldn’t believe they had everything in stock!!! So happy. My only issue was the Nexcare coupon, I printed the one off the website but was given a hard time because it doesn’t have a watermark to help verify it’s validity. just an fyi.
My store is claiming the Chinet sale is on Classic White NOT the casuals. Issue being the insert says casual. None were on the shelf so we went to CS. A gentleman showed up with the whites and I explained the coupon/ad wording issue. He just stared and offered the whites. Finally I told him the signs need to be changed if the ad is a misprint. I really think they took the casuals to the back b/c it is a misprint. Later during our trip we heard the same gentleman paging some staff to the paper goods isle.
Anyway if you sign up on Chinets site for the coupon I put in 2 products for #2 registration and that gave me $1 of ANY chinet. When I put in for one product for my registration I got $1 Classic White only. HTH Also the signage says $1 off next Chinet purchase when you buy THREE items.

Last week I saw Coffeemate creamer(large liquid) on clearance for .99. They restocked and took the signs down. Might be worth price checking since they have .55 Q on their site.
The circular clearly states Chinets Casuals, I’m not sure why that employee would do that, they are supposed to honor the advertised price for the advertised product, unless their is an official notice-(usually these are located around the product and are handwritten). Also, shoprite has a price scan guarantee if the product doesn’t scan at the correct price you can get the item for free and if you purchase multiples of the product you get the first one free and the rest in sale price. I was able to purchase the Chinete Casuals at my shoprite but this all depends on who owns the shoprite I suppose.
Yea I don’t know what the official deal is here. He tried to get me to buy the large count for $4.99 or $5.99 Casuals. I didn’t know how to handle the situation since they were out of casuals in public view.

I opend one of the packs of Dixie paper plates I bought in rite aid last week. It had coupons for dixie plates, cups and napkins. I took them along with me this am and saw that the Dixie coffee cups were on sale for 1.99 for 12. I had the .50 off coupon from the plates so I got them for .99 cents . I though that was a deal!

Each matchup says where to find the coupon. If there’s a link, that means its a printable, otherwise there is a date and insert abbreviation (RP, SS) next to the item.
I bought Graham Crackers, Hershey Bars, & Marshmellows tonight. I then gave the cashier two coupons…one for a 1 off when you buy all three and one for $1 the marshmallows. He told me I couldn’t use both. Does this sound correct.
Yes, he was right. Your $1 off 3 items Q attaches to all 3 items, therefore you can’t use another Q on one of those items, because you can only use 1 manufacturer’s Q per item.
for those of you in NJ, which paper do you buy? I have been getting the Star Ledger for years now but I’m noticing my coupons have not been as good as Cindy’s lately. ex: instead of $1/1 nexcare i got $1/2 and the kraft mayo I got $1/1 instead of .75/1. I’m in 07419 07462 areas
Ashley, those are not my coupons but coupons that are predicted in the inserts. Each paper, area has a different set of inserts. Some are smaller then others. You will never have an insert that has all the best coupons. I don’t in my paper.
I do not purchase the SL, because I checked the Red Plum website and they said in my area, Red Plum are only in the SL when you have it home delivered. I am in central jersey, so I buy multiples of the Home News Tribune or the Courier. Both carry the Red Plum when you buy it at the store. You do, of course, have to look to see if the inserts are there when you are buying at the store.
I get the SL delivered and have not received any Red Plum for well over a year…wish i did…I get annoyed when one of Cindy’s matchups uses a RedPlum coupon!! (not with Cindy of course, but with mylack of RedPlum)
I was having that problem in my neighborhood also, so now I drive to 7eleven on Sunday morning and pick up the NY Post. Although a lot of times it does not have some of the coupons others get, it is better than getting nothing.
I get APP home delivered in Monmouth County, but we’re right on the border, so the closest place to buy a paper is Mercer County. We’ve noticed a huge difference in the inserts that we get delivered and in the papers we buy. Two weeks ago we got no RP in the bought papers, which was the whole reason I wanted 4 papers! Oh well.
not sure how far you are from hudson county but saturdays jersey journal always has SS and RP for $0.60 my coupons are never always the same, i usually get the crappy $1/2 heck i had hefty $1/3! I was annoyed!!
The ShopRite in Glen Burnie, MD is having Triple Coupons this week, does anyone know if any other locations are having Triple Coupons as well? I live in DE and would like to find one closer to home than Glen Burnie. Also, what is the coupon policy for the Triple Coupons?
If you look at their ad online it does not show Triple Coupons but when we picked up a paper from Glen Burnie store it did and they have a sign hanging out front. Must be a store choice this week?!?!? Who knows.
Triple up to .99 each up to value of item – no overage that I have ever noticed.
The triple coupon is 3x face value up to the price of the item or up to .99 a coupon, so if an item is 2.50 and you use a .75 cent coupon it takes of 2.25, but if it is a 1.99 item and you use a .75 coupon, it only takes of 1.99. That is how it works in the glen burnie shop rite!
The sales paper also states $7.50 minimum purchase but you should have no problems reaching $7.50 b/c it’s pre coupon total. I did 3 transactions today and paid $7.06 OOP for all 3.
While at my ShopRite today I saw that they had the Degree Deodorant on an in store sale for $1.79….I used my $0.75 off coupons for two of them and my BOGO coupons for four more….Ended up getting 6 for only $4.16….that makes them $0.69 cents each….I got the coupons in my RP 05/22/11…also grabbed the Solo Heavy Duty paper plates….got my $4.00 Catalina….Super happy

Walgreens has a $3 off Excedrin in-store coupon. My Shoprite in DE has signs up saying they will honor competitor store & other store coupons. Think I can swing the $6.99 – $3 = $3.99 (buy 2 @ this price and get the $2 Catalina deal)?

I’m also in West Chester. I have found that the circular is pretty much identical between the West Chester and Wilmington stores. Never found any better deals down there than I’ve gotten in West Chester. Of course, the only exception would be if you’re buying anything where sales tax would apply.
I’m in West Goshen township, walking distance from Shoprite. It’s just not worth the gas to drive ten miles down to Wilmington and back.
Melanie, I’m in North Wilmington, and yes, that’s the store that I shop, across from the Concord Mall. I am going to head over there today to see if they accept it. They do have large signs within the store saying we accept other Shoprite’s coupons as well as competitor coupons. I’ll test the rule to see and post what I find. It can be worthwhile, esp. if it is something sales taxable.

I went to my ShopRite this weekend (Spotswood) and for the first time EVER they looked at every single one of my IP coupons to make sure it had a website before they even scanned any of my items. I have never had a problem with this before and am curious as to why the sudden crack down
I asked one of my friends….who is a cashier…..and she told me that since “Extreme Couponing” came on TLC alot of people have been copying coupons….and trying to pull on over on the stores by buying things that aren’t what the coupon says…..She said that people are using coupons more now then ever and that if a coupon is copied that the store won’t be reimbursed for it….HTH

You should be able to. Some locations may fight you on using more than one at a time, but I have used two V-8 and two Solo in the same trip as two Purina. It is just the luck of the draw!
I went to SR this morning and did very well! I saved $39.69 and spent $6.52 OOP. I am bummed that the catalina didn’t print out for the 4 packages of Solo plates. I was told I had to contact Catalina directly so I just sent them an email with a copy of my receipt.

I bought 4 chinet plates, a $1.00 off coupon for your next chinet purchase printed out. So its not a catalina but still an extra coupon and you cant beat paying .24 for a pack of plates
It’s an off shopping week for me, but I really wanted some Solo bowls for our upcoming camping trip, so I decided to venture to SR today. I should have stayed home. After being attacked by a spider while driving, a traffic detour, crazy backups along the detoured route, I made it to SR. Of course, they were out of Solo bowls. Grrr.. I picked up a few items I had decided to grab anyway, Nexcare, Santa Cruz Lemonade, Perdue Chicken, and some Similac because my coupons expired today.
They fought me on using Similac coupons & checks.
They fought me on using three Purina cats towards a $15 bag of dogfood.
They fought me on my Nestle cats!

They fought me on all of my Nexcare coupons!!!

I walked out disgusted and with $4.00 in bandaids and $6.00 in chicken I wouldn’t have otherwise purchased this week.
I should have fought harder for the Perdue coupon, the Nexcare one, I went in knowing those were going to be an issue just from the way they are being distributed. I had the same issue with RiceSelect when they had a PDF coupon. I’m going to email NexCare, maybe they’ll mail me some.
When ever a store won’t except a coupon because it is a pdf or if it one of the ones that you can print as many as you want I email the company and tell them….I always get tons of coupons from the company with there extreme apologies….they also tell me that I could email them every couple of months to get more coupons….I did it with Blue Bunny and they sent me 10 coupons….4 of which were for free Ice Cream….HTH
For the Reach Catalina deal, we found some more Reach toothbrushes that are worth the deal. On top of the $.99 ones, there were a few marked down. One of which was a kid;s Batman toothbrush marked down to $1.29. They had green tags hanging below the sticker. This deal came out to $1.26 for four after using (2) $2/2 Reach coupons. It then printed out a $4 catalina. This was the Woodbridge, NJ Shoprite.
I went to shoprite in hauppauge long island this week and i was horrified at how i was treated at check out. I checked store policy on the phone a few weeks ago and was told the norm for ny: ” 4 of the same coupon” and “two of the same internet coupon” . at check out the cashier called for a supervisor because”my total was going to low” and he thought i was using too many coupons. The supervisor got the front end manager who also got the store manager. They four managers were very rude and told me i was abusing the system using too many coupons. ( i had less then 50 and none were stacked)
They decided that they werent going to double any of my internet coupons because”that would be like giving food away”.
I left the store with out my grocerys and in a sad sad mood. couponing in ny is not easy ever since the extreem coupon show can on air

You are completly right….I live in Staten Island, NY and It is so hard to find a store that isn’t like that….The SR by me is very rude and I have to fight to be able to use the coupons that I have…..They make you feel bad for using them as if you are doing something wrong……I feel bad for you….I go through it EVERY week it feels awful….
OMG that is horrible! I also live in Staten Island and go to the Hylan Blvd shop rite, I usally shop there during the morning hours between 745 and 9 am after I take my son to school. EVERYONE there has been nothing but great to me and they even ask where can they get the coupons I have. Two ladies especially, both work the express checkout lanes almost everyday. The manager has also been great he ordered the crystal clean reach toothbrushes for me and they are almost always in stock now. I would contact coporate on the managers you dealt with and inform them that their managers are not following the coupon policy they also were completely out of line!!. NO ONE has ever told me I was “abusing the system”. I did 2 transactions today the first totaled $42.64 and I paid 10$, the second totaled $218 and I paid $52 and I didnt have more than 4 of each coupon, and I used about 50 coupons total!
I also live in Staten Island and I second that. They are possitively awful to me at the Shoprite on Richmond Ave. Last week I had 10 coupons all legit and the cashier told me to my face and announced to the entire line he “hates people who use coupons!” Then proceeded proceeded to bang his head numerous times on the conveyor belt and said to the people behind me in line that “the hold up is not him, and that they should thank me for using all these coupons and making them wait. In King Kullen they are no better and they lie about their policy, they are really sneaky. Why do these people treat us like criminals?
I also go to that ShopRite on Richmond….They are extremely rude and are always accusing you of copying coupons…..When I used the Santa Cruz and Nexcare coupons they embarressed me so much that I left the store without any of my groceries….I usually shop at the Pathmark around the corner and they are much nicer…..at least some of the cashiers….especially one of the older ones named Martha…..she is so sweet……but I started going to ShopRite because of the good sales but know I might just start spending the extra money at Pathmark so that I can get some better service….I hate that ShopRite!!!!!
The front end manager in the Hauppauge SR is horrible! She is always rude and I have yet to see her be anything but nasty to customers/employees, plus she’s ALWAYS there! I was putting together my list for this Sunday, maybe I should go to the new one in Deer Park- hear it’s beautiful! You should check it out too!!
Please contact corporate to report this abuse! You should not be treated that way. I have called corporate (1-800-SHOPRITE) in regards to a few issues and they have been SUPER helpful. If you have the names of anyone who mistreated you, please let them know. Most stores are individually owned, but Corporate has a GIANT say in how customers are treated. I really feel that my reports to them have helped my local SR in dealing with the couponers in a nicer manner.
Was it the evil coupon Nazi with the short brown hair? She is the reason i left $300 worth of groceries at the checkout, walked out and have NEVER gone back. They accused me in front of other customers of copying coupons, and did basically the same thing they did to you. When I asked to see anything she was saying in their policy her explanation was just because it didn’t exactly say what she was trying to enforce didn’t mean it wasn’t store policy! They are opening a Shoprite in Patchogue and I think it is the same owners and if it is unfortunately I will have to still travel to Bayshore (where they are extremely nice) even though the new one will be literally 3 minutes away.
I feel so bad for you….I have left my SR many times without my groceries because of them doing the exact same thing…..they make you feel as if you did something wrong by trying to save your family some money……I have know taken to only shopping at certain hours when one cashier in particular is working because she is the only nice one out of all of them…..She will take all of my coupons….but sometimes she will tell me to split up the order so that it doesn’t look like she got all the same coupons from one person….like the coupons from nexcare that you could print a hundred of she would take two at a time….SO SORRY THAT YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL OUT OF YOUR WAY FOR A DEAL…..
Iam in ny also. I get the feeling that some cashiers are actually excited for me, and help me out and talk with me about my coupons and what’s for what. Idont just hand them over and say here ya go… i tell them I think there is a coupon for each item and if I made a mistake I own up to it. I also warn them that it takes me longer to check out than most people.
but other cashiers make it seem like such a CHORE To ring you up, and process your coupons. its annoying and makes me feel bad for something I am doing legally and following the rules by.
I went to my local shop rite tonight new policy you can only use 4 coupons for the 4 items so if you purchase 10 items of the same you can only use 4 like coupons, BOOOOO price matching at walmart it is!
I am GLAD that this is the policy and that they are enforcing it. It’s SO discouraging to see someone with 20 bottles of BBQ sauce in their cart and NONE on the shelf!
That is the coupon policy at my SR too, but it all matters as to what cashier you go to. I have used 10 coupons on 10 of the same item multiple times with certain cashiers, whereas others will stop at 4 coupons. If they really wanted to really enforce the rule, they should have the register not accept the 5th coupon…just like how the register will not double the 5th coupon. SR has the ability to do that with their computer system and chooses not to…it’s almost like a rule that they ‘reserve the right’ to enforce when they feel like it.
In regards to the Chinet deal…I purchased 4 packs of plates at $1.34 and used 4 coupons at $.55 cents each ( doubling to $1 at my store) and there was a CAT that printed out for $1 off your next Chinet purchase.
GREAT NEWS……FREE LIBBY’S FRUIT……..there is a LIBBY’S FRUIT COUPON on coupons.com…..I just printed out two of them….the coupon is for $1.00 off of 2….they are on sale wednesday-Saturday for $0.49…..making them FREE….i got mine under zipcode 83705…. Hurry and print it before there all gone….HTH
I printed one of these Libbys coupons last night and it printed fine, but now they are not printing for me. The rest of the coupons from that site are printing, just not the Libbys. Anyone else having problems with this?
The sale is on 15oz Libby’s Peaches in Light Syrup, the coupon says “Includes canned fruit (Not Tropical), 24oz Fruit Bottles or 3-pack sleeves of 6oz jumbo cups.”
It doesn’t specify the size of the canned fruit, just that it isn’t tropical.

I did another transaction similar to this and nothing printed the second time as well. I am missing 42$ in catalinas and sort of worried.
i already contacted Catalina Marketing, but can someone just reassure me as to how it is to deal them with ? How long it takes to get the catalina? etc etc etc. I dont think i would bought as much as a i did had it not been for the Cats.
Catalina is absolutely wonderful to deal with. When you have more than one Catalina that you were expecting to receive off of one receipt they will ask you to scan the receipt and email it to them. They will usually then get back to you within 1-2 days saying that your coupons will be mailed to you and will take 6-8 weeks. Dont worry about this time frame though, all of my Catalinas that I have gotten mailed from them have gotten to me within a week or two.
Thankyou Anne. That was helpful. I contacted them at the email above and took photos of the reciept and included in my first email. Explained what i bought that was relevant to the Cats and the cats i was anticipating, and the complete receipt photo, i had to split it into 3 photos per receipt because it was so long but hopefully it will be enough information for them.
I had to aslo contact rite aid this week because my UP rewards didnt print also, i am afraid to go shopping…. would be odd if nothing printed for me in every store.
I don’t think anyone has mentioned this, but Keebler TownHouse Crackers are on sale 2/$5. I walked in with 2 $1/2 coupons that I printed from Snackpiks when I noticed that my ShopRite had $1 peelies on all the Keebler cookies (Vienna Fingers, etc). Tried them with the crackers and they worked. Deal becomes 2 boxes for $3 using 2 of the $1 peelies. Picked up 4 boxes!
I found the angel soft coupon in their website, saying once you register we will be able to print a coupon, but I cant print the bricks coupon. It says thank you for printing but no coupon is being printed…….

Maybe you can tell me if I was wrong… I had a printable coupon for speedstick, that clearly states “manufacturer coupon” on the top. However, it had a little “available at Walmart” logo on it as well. It did NOT say anywhere, good only at Walmart.

My wife and I are new to using coupons, we live in NJ. Yesterday we went to North Bergen, NJ- Walmart, we were trying to purchase the following items:
9 Pert Shampoo(.97 cents/each) — with (9)$1 manufacturer cpns.
2 Kraft Mayo($ 2.50 /each)—-with (2)$1 manufacturer cpns.
3 Zest bar soap 8ct. ($2.98/each)—with (3)$1 manufacturer cpns.
On the check out…trying to use the coupons with the items, the cashier/supervisor called up the Assistant Manager-Pedro, and he told us that we cannot use all the coupons, we can only use…1 Pert cpn…1 Kraft Mayo cpn…and 1 Zest bar cpn. Then my wife start showing the store policy(which we have on hand) then they start arguing….we ended up returning all the items.
Cindy, is the Assistant Manager right? He said you cannot use all the coupons and that Walmart’ s policy is one coupon per purchase, meaning that I can only use…. 1 Pert cpn. for 1 like Pert item….1 Kraft Mayo cpn for 1 like Kraft Mayo item….and so on.
I know this seems annoying – but it does work and is definitely worth the effort if you go to that walmart often. i sent cooperate an email about my local walmart, and they set them straight about the coupon policy. the ast. manager called to apologize – and now every cashier knows the policy.
The cashiers may not know all the coupon rules, and they can be fired if their register is short. But the managers? They have no excuse not to know the coupon policy. You contacting cooperate makes sure they know the policy.

Shoprite purchase last night using this weeks coupon info (from the Amazing CINDY) total purchase = $140.00 I paid $73 and received $9 in cats for next trip. I usually keep my coupon shopping separate from my regular – don’t have a coupon but need it anyway – shopping. Ironically, I purchased 73 items. Therefore I paid $1 per item – this is including the items I had no coupon for. This is amazing to me. I have 4 children 18, 14, 10, 8. Hubby and I used to spend more then $800 a month on groceries. Until I discovered this site I was just rolling over extra care bucks at CVS and getting things for free. Combining CVS with the supermarket is saving me BIG $. What a nightmare at SR today! I normally do not go to the Middletown SR because I have found them to be very coupon un-friendly there, however it was on my way home from Pathmark so I wanted to stop and get some things. There were hardly any packages of chicken under $4, so I ended up just getting 4 packages that were around $4 each. Also picked up 4 Reach toothbrushes for $1.19 each, 4 packages of Solo cups and 2 cans of Chicken of the Sea Tuna. Upon handing the cashier my Qs, I received an eyeroll and a sigh .. then she proceded to tell me that I couldnt use my Chicken of the Sea Qs because they were expired. Umm hello, the expiration is 7/1/2011!! I told her this, and she said, Yea, today is the 3rd! Wow .. so eventually she realised that I could use them and scanned them. Then we came to the chicken Qs. They did not scan. She told me that I had to buy the plain chicken breasts, and not the Thin sliced which I had gotten. The Q does not specify. So the manager was called over, who eventually said that I could use them. Then came the Reach Qs for $2/2 toothbrushes. She told me that I could only get $1.19 for them because the toothbrushes were $1.19. I explained to her that they were for two products and after some back and forth and the manager being called over AGAIN, I was allowed to use them. Jeez! I have never had this much of a problem before, being treated like I was trying to get away with murder or something!! I will stick to my home SR from now on and stay the heck out of that one in Middletown lol!

You would have to check the coupon policy of the specific store you intend to shop at. Some SR stores will double only up to $1.00 so a $0.75 would double to $1.00, and some will fully double up to $0.99, so a $0.75 Q would double to $1.50. There are sometimes SR Qs in the circular that will stack with the Manufacturers Qs. I did not have any in my circular this week, but I believe others did .. they are regional. Most Catalinas are just dollar amounts off of your next purchase, however sometimes they specify what you can use them on. For example, the Solo and Reach Catalinas are simply $4 off your next order, but the recent Suave (I believe it was the suave) Catalina specified $5 off your next “non-foods” purchase, so you could use it on deoderants, paper plates, etc. HTH!
Hi, First I want to thank Cindy for all the works she does and all couponers who contribute to this website. I have been couponing for a month now and I am hooked.
My problem was with the resolve. I went to my Shoprite and was unable to use the Resolve .75 off any product for the laundry resolve products because the pic did not have the laundry. Is this correct?
I don’t think this is correct because the coupon says “off ANY Resolve”. My cashier looked at it too but noticed the “any” and pushed it through. She told me that sometimes q that are smaller sometimes beep. If you’re up for it, take it to Customer Service and ask them.
If it says “ANY” then you should be able to use it on any…..some cashiers try to pull that on me but I just show them the word any and explain to them that it means ANY of there products and usually that works…on occasion they call the manager over but they usually just manually put in the amount….HTH

Luckily they have the sale this week so I went straight to customer service asked if any meant any and she said of course so when the machine beeped I told her I went to customer service and she called over mgr who used his key and let them all go thru with no questions from him. I had 4 coupons of this so I got the wash and sprays and all other resolve laundry items for .29 each. Once again thank you.

It makes me crazy when they do that. Don’t be afraid to call the paper and tell them to bring you your coupons. You paid for that paper, you should get the WHOLE paper, including coupons.

The tums deal worked for me based on the shelf price of $3.99 per bottle. I asked customer service and they said i only had to buy 4 bottles and it should work. I did that and used 4 coupons and got the exact same deal that Cindy posted above.

they are good for your NEXT shopping order not your current one. good luck
they r good for your next shopping order however some stores allow you 2 do 2 different transactions so you can use your cats right away ask in your store if this is allowed
If u know you are going to get one just split up your order and use it!
I usually just split my CAT items and pay for them first, then use the cats on the rest of my stuff, in a separate transaction. Most of the cats won’t print until you pay, anyhow.

I did the solo deal and the V8 deal both today and got a $3 and a $4 catalina….worked perfect!
Check your Goldfish crackers. My shoprite in Springfield, NJ has Goldfish Graham vanilla cupcake flavor with .75 peelies on it. The peelies are good on any graham flavor. That comes out to .50 a package.

. I just printed 2 of the solo coupons and they came out just fine.
Also the stonyfield yogurts coupon can be accessed by getting to the digital version of the “Live Right” mag and printing it out. Not sure if you want to go through all that ink though!

the perdue coupon is NOT per pound it is per item, so it wont be $0.99 unless the package is one pound and generally the sale priced chicken is the larger packs
but probably still somewhat of a good deal
The perdue chicken is a 40% off promo, so even the smaller packs of chicken are on sale. I have found many packs at or around 1lb during these sales. When I used my q’s I wound up getting my chicken for under $.25 a package.
I just bought 1lb package of perdue ground chicken breast for $2.69 and used perdue chicken breast coupon. It worked perfect. I got 2 packages for $1.19 each.
I can’t find any coupon for Perdue Chicken Breast. ShopRite only has the 40% off. I am fairly new to couponing. Could I get some insight as to where to find this coupon? Not in the circular.
that coupon is from the 4/10 RP ….4/10 is the date RP = Red Plum insert, from the sunday paper, if you dont have it search online through a clipping service or ebay
Went to SR this morning, and the Reach toothbrushes were not on sale at my SR. They werent on sale the last time either, but $1.19 is still a great price with the Catalina. Also, I was there at 6:20 (20 minutes after they opened), and there were hardly any Solo cups left already! I dont know if someone cleaned them out already or if they hadnt stocked it yet or what, but that was disappointing. I plan on stocking up on cups this week so hopefully they will get more in stock.
Solo paper products have been on sale all last week too so I would guess they just haven’t restocked.
I know there were some on the shelf, but:
Whenever you go and there’s nothing on the shelf, ask at customer service. Most of the times, they have it in the back and they will call and have someone bring it out for you. If not, you can get a rain check. But I’d say about 70% of the time when I do this, I’m able to get whatever I’m looking for within about 5 minutes.
The reach toothbrushes are with the travel items, it isnt a sale they are always 0.99
Not at all SR’s. They are in the travel section at mine, but they are always more than $0.99 – I think $1.19 TOO.

I can’t seem to find the Reach toothbrushes in my SR. In the toothbrush aisle they have other Reach toothbrushes but none for less than $2
They are in the travel size section.
They were in the TB isle for my store. They are packed so tightly it’s easy to miss. Just look for the .99 tag instead of the brushes.
Mine never has these ones… And we don’t have a travel section!!
My SR doesn’t have a travel section either but they are in the regluar toothbrush isle! They are usually “hidden” or out of stock! Give your tooth brush section a good look you may find them tucked away in the back!
My SR in Vails Gate, NY had only 2 in the travel section, but they did have another variety on sale for $1.19, which made them .19 with the coup, plus I got the cats too. You might look to see if your SR has any on sale.
We dont have a travel isle either but a small section in the heath and beauty Aisle its one over from the toothbrushes. I had to really look for it

Mr SR has a travel size section, but do not carry these brushes. Once, I did find 4 of these brushes there, but the majority of the time, these brushes aren’t in the travel section or the tooth brush section.

The Pampers catalina is working on shelf price! I bought 2 Jumbo packs ($8.99 each on sale, with 2 $2 off coupons) and I got the $3 catalina!
However, the Perdue chicken breasts were not as cheap as I had hoped. The regular breasts were$2.99 a lb, but we generally well over a pound per package (1.5-2lbs). I got the thin sliced and tenderloins, which were a little more expensive per pound ($3.50), but were in smaller packages (some under 1 lb). Obviously, the best deal is to get the smallest packs since the coupon is .75 off per package. I stocked up and made my family grilled chicken sandwiches for lunch!
Regarding last week’s Solo and Banana Boat/Wet Wipes cats:
Has anyone else had to contact Catalina? In the past when I ‘ve e mailed them with the info and my scanned receipt I get an e mail response with my confirmation number within hours but this time I still have not had any reply for them (sent my e last Thursday). Wondering if it’s due to the holiday or volume of inquiries on these cats. Has anyone else e’d them and already received a reply? TIA.
I think they are a little backed up this past week, probably due to the Banana boat cat being sketchy. Usually I get a response from them within a day or so but last week it was taking 3-4 days to hear back from them. I was getting worried too, but they eventually did get back to me for each email I sent them (3 total last week).

Most ShopRites will give you the catalina if it didn’t print. They have a binder with all the weekly catalina deals and they will just print one out. However, they won’t do it if you based your deal on the shelf prices despite the fact that the catalina are based on the shelf prices. I usually do my deals with the sales price, it is just too much hassle for me if the catalinas don’t print. Sometimes if it is a really good deal at the shelf price, I will use the shelf price and if it doesn’t work, I just return the items.
Customer service is getting better at ShopRite, they are a little less nasty these days. I avoided going there for a while to avoid getting aggravated by their nasty attitude.

Ruth, I never did Catalinas until this past March with the SR Dollar Days. At that time there were such lines at CS it just seemed easier to e mail Catalina (which went as smooth as silk!) so that’s just what I’ve been doing. Otherwise, my CS is terrific…all very nice and knowledgable.
I emailed them on Thursday evening, still no reply either.
Looks like they are working on a Holiday…I received my e mail confirmations VERY early this morning!

Shoprite has Neosporin bandages on sale for .99 cents and with the $1 Neosporin printable coupon the bandages are free! So I got a couple of boxes for free since Walmart was all out when I tried to get some for free.

Went to SR last night, couldn’t believe they had everything in stock!!! So happy. My only issue was the Nexcare coupon, I printed the one off the website but was given a hard time because it doesn’t have a watermark to help verify it’s validity. just an fyi.
I had the same problem, I hate it when it’s not smartsource or the like, the ones you could print 100 times are always an issue at my SR.
I couldn’t use my Nexcare coupons (2 ) either at my Shoprite store in Poughkeepsie, NY.
My store is claiming the Chinet sale is on Classic White NOT the casuals. Issue being the insert says casual. None were on the shelf so we went to CS. A gentleman showed up with the whites and I explained the coupon/ad wording issue. He just stared and offered the whites. Finally I told him the signs need to be changed if the ad is a misprint. I really think they took the casuals to the back b/c it is a misprint. Later during our trip we heard the same gentleman paging some staff to the paper goods isle.
Anyway if you sign up on Chinets site for the coupon I put in 2 products for #2 registration and that gave me $1 of ANY chinet. When I put in for one product for my registration I got $1 Classic White only. HTH Also the signage says $1 off next Chinet purchase when you buy THREE items.

Last week I saw Coffeemate creamer(large liquid) on clearance for .99. They restocked and took the signs down. Might be worth price checking since they have .55 Q on their site.
The circular clearly states Chinets Casuals, I’m not sure why that employee would do that, they are supposed to honor the advertised price for the advertised product, unless their is an official notice-(usually these are located around the product and are handwritten). Also, shoprite has a price scan guarantee if the product doesn’t scan at the correct price you can get the item for free and if you purchase multiples of the product you get the first one free and the rest in sale price. I was able to purchase the Chinete Casuals at my shoprite but this all depends on who owns the shoprite I suppose.
My circular says Chinet Casuals too. I am planning on buying those. Do we know for sure if there is a mix up here?
Yea I don’t know what the official deal is here. He tried to get me to buy the large count for $4.99 or $5.99 Casuals. I didn’t know how to handle the situation since they were out of casuals in public view.

I opend one of the packs of Dixie paper plates I bought in rite aid last week. It had coupons for dixie plates, cups and napkins. I took them along with me this am and saw that the Dixie coffee cups were on sale for 1.99 for 12. I had the .50 off coupon from the plates so I got them for .99 cents . I though that was a deal!

Each matchup says where to find the coupon. If there’s a link, that means its a printable, otherwise there is a date and insert abbreviation (RP, SS) next to the item.
I bought Graham Crackers, Hershey Bars, & Marshmellows tonight. I then gave the cashier two coupons…one for a 1 off when you buy all three and one for $1 the marshmallows. He told me I couldn’t use both. Does this sound correct.
Cashier is correct. Only one coupon per item(s) indicted on coupon. You were trying to use two coupons for the same marshmallows.
Yes, he was right. Your $1 off 3 items Q attaches to all 3 items, therefore you can’t use another Q on one of those items, because you can only use 1 manufacturer’s Q per item.

Ashley, those are not my coupons but coupons that are predicted in the inserts. Each paper, area has a different set of inserts. Some are smaller then others. You will never have an insert that has all the best coupons. I don’t in my paper.
I do not purchase the SL, because I checked the Red Plum website and they said in my area, Red Plum are only in the SL when you have it home delivered. I am in central jersey, so I buy multiples of the Home News Tribune or the Courier. Both carry the Red Plum when you buy it at the store. You do, of course, have to look to see if the inserts are there when you are buying at the store.
I get the SL delivered and have not received any Red Plum for well over a year…wish i did…I get annoyed when one of Cindy’s matchups uses a RedPlum coupon!! (not with Cindy of course, but with mylack of RedPlum)
I was having that problem in my neighborhood also, so now I drive to 7eleven on Sunday morning and pick up the NY Post. Although a lot of times it does not have some of the coupons others get, it is better than getting nothing.
I get the asbury park press both home delivered and picked up at the dollar store or walmart if the dollar store is out of them

I get APP home delivered in Monmouth County, but we’re right on the border, so the closest place to buy a paper is Mercer County. We’ve noticed a huge difference in the inserts that we get delivered and in the papers we buy. Two weeks ago we got no RP in the bought papers, which was the whole reason I wanted 4 papers! Oh well.

If you look at their ad online it does not show Triple Coupons but when we picked up a paper from Glen Burnie store it did and they have a sign hanging out front. Must be a store choice this week?!?!? Who knows.
Triple up to .99 each up to value of item – no overage that I have ever noticed.
The triple coupon is 3x face value up to the price of the item or up to .99 a coupon, so if an item is 2.50 and you use a .75 cent coupon it takes of 2.25, but if it is a 1.99 item and you use a .75 coupon, it only takes of 1.99. That is how it works in the glen burnie shop rite!

The sales paper also states $7.50 minimum purchase but you should have no problems reaching $7.50 b/c it’s pre coupon total. I did 3 transactions today and paid $7.06 OOP for all 3.
While at my ShopRite today I saw that they had the Degree Deodorant on an in store sale for $1.79….I used my $0.75 off coupons for two of them and my BOGO coupons for four more….Ended up getting 6 for only $4.16….that makes them $0.69 cents each….I got the coupons in my RP 05/22/11…also grabbed the Solo Heavy Duty paper plates….got my $4.00 Catalina….Super happy

Walgreens has a $3 off Excedrin in-store coupon. My Shoprite in DE has signs up saying they will honor competitor store & other store coupons. Think I can swing the $6.99 – $3 = $3.99 (buy 2 @ this price and get the $2 Catalina deal)?

I’m also in West Chester. I have found that the circular is pretty much identical between the West Chester and Wilmington stores. Never found any better deals down there than I’ve gotten in West Chester. Of course, the only exception would be if you’re buying anything where sales tax would apply.
I’m in West Goshen township, walking distance from Shoprite. It’s just not worth the gas to drive ten miles down to Wilmington and back.
Melanie, I’m in North Wilmington, and yes, that’s the store that I shop, across from the Concord Mall. I am going to head over there today to see if they accept it. They do have large signs within the store saying we accept other Shoprite’s coupons as well as competitor coupons. I’ll test the rule to see and post what I find. It can be worthwhile, esp. if it is something sales taxable.
Colleen – please post if they let you do this, I shop at the Stanton store and haven’t notice (or looked) for that sign… Target has printable coupons – some high value. Can’t wait to find out what happens with your trip..

I went to my ShopRite this weekend (Spotswood) and for the first time EVER they looked at every single one of my IP coupons to make sure it had a website before they even scanned any of my items. I have never had a problem with this before and am curious as to why the sudden crack down
I asked one of my friends….who is a cashier…..and she told me that since “Extreme Couponing” came on TLC alot of people have been copying coupons….and trying to pull on over on the stores by buying things that aren’t what the coupon says…..She said that people are using coupons more now then ever and that if a coupon is copied that the store won’t be reimbursed for it….HTH

You should be able to. Some locations may fight you on using more than one at a time, but I have used two V-8 and two Solo in the same trip as two Purina. It is just the luck of the draw!
I went to SR this morning and did very well! I saved $39.69 and spent $6.52 OOP. I am bummed that the catalina didn’t print out for the 4 packages of Solo plates. I was told I had to contact Catalina directly so I just sent them an email with a copy of my receipt.

I bought 4 chinet plates, a $1.00 off coupon for your next chinet purchase printed out. So its not a catalina but still an extra coupon and you cant beat paying .24 for a pack of plates
It’s an off shopping week for me, but I really wanted some Solo bowls for our upcoming camping trip, so I decided to venture to SR today. I should have stayed home. After being attacked by a spider while driving, a traffic detour, crazy backups along the detoured route, I made it to SR. Of course, they were out of Solo bowls. Grrr.. I picked up a few items I had decided to grab anyway, Nexcare, Santa Cruz Lemonade, Perdue Chicken, and some Similac because my coupons expired today.
They fought me on using Similac coupons & checks.
They fought me on using three Purina cats towards a $15 bag of dogfood.
They fought me on my Nestle cats!
They fought me on my Perdue coupon!!
They fought me on all of my Nexcare coupons!!!
UGH!!
I walked out disgusted and with $4.00 in bandaids and $6.00 in chicken I wouldn’t have otherwise purchased this week.
I should have fought harder for the Perdue coupon, the Nexcare one, I went in knowing those were going to be an issue just from the way they are being distributed. I had the same issue with RiceSelect when they had a PDF coupon. I’m going to email NexCare, maybe they’ll mail me some.

When ever a store won’t except a coupon because it is a pdf or if it one of the ones that you can print as many as you want I email the company and tell them….I always get tons of coupons from the company with there extreme apologies….they also tell me that I could email them every couple of months to get more coupons….I did it with Blue Bunny and they sent me 10 coupons….4 of which were for free Ice Cream….HTH

For the Reach Catalina deal, we found some more Reach toothbrushes that are worth the deal. On top of the $.99 ones, there were a few marked down. One of which was a kid;s Batman toothbrush marked down to $1.29. They had green tags hanging below the sticker. This deal came out to $1.26 for four after using (2) $2/2 Reach coupons. It then printed out a $4 catalina. This was the Woodbridge, NJ Shoprite.
I went to shoprite in hauppauge long island this week and i was horrified at how i was treated at check out. I checked store policy on the phone a few weeks ago and was told the norm for ny: ” 4 of the same coupon” and “two of the same internet coupon” . at check out the cashier called for a supervisor because”my total was going to low” and he thought i was using too many coupons. The supervisor got the front end manager who also got the store manager. They four managers were very rude and told me i was abusing the system using too many coupons. ( i had less then 50 and none were stacked)
They decided that they werent going to double any of my internet coupons because”that would be like giving food away”.
I left the store with out my grocerys and in a sad sad mood. couponing in ny is not easy ever since the extreem coupon show can on air

You are completly right….I live in Staten Island, NY and It is so hard to find a store that isn’t like that….The SR by me is very rude and I have to fight to be able to use the coupons that I have…..They make you feel bad for using them as if you are doing something wrong……I feel bad for you….I go through it EVERY week it feels awful….
OMG that is horrible! I also live in Staten Island and go to the Hylan Blvd shop rite, I usally shop there during the morning hours between 745 and 9 am after I take my son to school. EVERYONE there has been nothing but great to me and they even ask where can they get the coupons I have. Two ladies especially, both work the express checkout lanes almost everyday. The manager has also been great he ordered the crystal clean reach toothbrushes for me and they are almost always in stock now. I would contact coporate on the managers you dealt with and inform them that their managers are not following the coupon policy they also were completely out of line!!. NO ONE has ever told me I was “abusing the system”. I did 2 transactions today the first totaled $42.64 and I paid 10$, the second totaled $218 and I paid $52 and I didnt have more than 4 of each coupon, and I used about 50 coupons total!
I also live in Staten Island and I second that. They are possitively awful to me at the Shoprite on Richmond Ave. Last week I had 10 coupons all legit and the cashier told me to my face and announced to the entire line he “hates people who use coupons!” Then proceeded proceeded to bang his head numerous times on the conveyor belt and said to the people behind me in line that “the hold up is not him, and that they should thank me for using all these coupons and making them wait. In King Kullen they are no better and they lie about their policy, they are really sneaky. Why do these people treat us like criminals?
I also go to that ShopRite on Richmond….They are extremely rude and are always accusing you of copying coupons…..When I used the Santa Cruz and Nexcare coupons they embarressed me so much that I left the store without any of my groceries….I usually shop at the Pathmark around the corner and they are much nicer…..at least some of the cashiers….especially one of the older ones named Martha…..she is so sweet……but I started going to ShopRite because of the good sales but know I might just start spending the extra money at Pathmark so that I can get some better service….I hate that ShopRite!!!!!
The front end manager in the Hauppauge SR is horrible! She is always rude and I have yet to see her be anything but nasty to customers/employees, plus she’s ALWAYS there! I was putting together my list for this Sunday, maybe I should go to the new one in Deer Park- hear it’s beautiful! You should check it out too!!
Please contact corporate to report this abuse! You should not be treated that way. I have called corporate (1-800-SHOPRITE) in regards to a few issues and they have been SUPER helpful. If you have the names of anyone who mistreated you, please let them know. Most stores are individually owned, but Corporate has a GIANT say in how customers are treated. I really feel that my reports to them have helped my local SR in dealing with the couponers in a nicer manner.
Was it the evil coupon Nazi with the short brown hair? She is the reason i left $300 worth of groceries at the checkout, walked out and have NEVER gone back. They accused me in front of other customers of copying coupons, and did basically the same thing they did to you. When I asked to see anything she was saying in their policy her explanation was just because it didn’t exactly say what she was trying to enforce didn’t mean it wasn’t store policy! They are opening a Shoprite in Patchogue and I think it is the same owners and if it is unfortunately I will have to still travel to Bayshore (where they are extremely nice) even though the new one will be literally 3 minutes away.
I feel so bad for you….I have left my SR many times without my groceries because of them doing the exact same thing…..they make you feel as if you did something wrong by trying to save your family some money……I have know taken to only shopping at certain hours when one cashier in particular is working because she is the only nice one out of all of them…..She will take all of my coupons….but sometimes she will tell me to split up the order so that it doesn’t look like she got all the same coupons from one person….like the coupons from nexcare that you could print a hundred of she would take two at a time….SO SORRY THAT YOU HAVE TO TRAVEL OUT OF YOUR WAY FOR A DEAL…..
Iam in ny also. I get the feeling that some cashiers are actually excited for me, and help me out and talk with me about my coupons and what’s for what. Idont just hand them over and say here ya go… i tell them I think there is a coupon for each item and if I made a mistake I own up to it. I also warn them that it takes me longer to check out than most people.
but other cashiers make it seem like such a CHORE To ring you up, and process your coupons. its annoying and makes me feel bad for something I am doing legally and following the rules by.
I went to my local shop rite tonight new policy you can only use 4 coupons for the 4 items so if you purchase 10 items of the same you can only use 4 like coupons, BOOOOO price matching at walmart it is!

I am GLAD that this is the policy and that they are enforcing it. It’s SO discouraging to see someone with 20 bottles of BBQ sauce in their cart and NONE on the shelf!
That is the coupon policy at my SR too, but it all matters as to what cashier you go to. I have used 10 coupons on 10 of the same item multiple times with certain cashiers, whereas others will stop at 4 coupons. If they really wanted to really enforce the rule, they should have the register not accept the 5th coupon…just like how the register will not double the 5th coupon. SR has the ability to do that with their computer system and chooses not to…it’s almost like a rule that they ‘reserve the right’ to enforce when they feel like it.
That has always been the policy at my SR. It helps prevent shelf clearing leaving something for other customers. I’m good with that!
In regards to the Chinet deal…I purchased 4 packs of plates at $1.34 and used 4 coupons at $.55 cents each ( doubling to $1 at my store) and there was a CAT that printed out for $1 off your next Chinet purchase.

I did another transaction similar to this and nothing printed the second time as well. I am missing 42$ in catalinas and sort of worried.
i already contacted Catalina Marketing, but can someone just reassure me as to how it is to deal them with ? How long it takes to get the catalina? etc etc etc. I dont think i would bought as much as a i did had it not been for the Cats.
Catalina is absolutely wonderful to deal with. When you have more than one Catalina that you were expecting to receive off of one receipt they will ask you to scan the receipt and email it to them. They will usually then get back to you within 1-2 days saying that your coupons will be mailed to you and will take 6-8 weeks. Dont worry about this time frame though, all of my Catalinas that I have gotten mailed from them have gotten to me within a week or two.

Thankyou Anne. That was helpful. I contacted them at the email above and took photos of the reciept and included in my first email. Explained what i bought that was relevant to the Cats and the cats i was anticipating, and the complete receipt photo, i had to split it into 3 photos per receipt because it was so long but hopefully it will be enough information for them.
I had to aslo contact rite aid this week because my UP rewards didnt print also, i am afraid to go shopping…. would be odd if nothing printed for me in every store.
I don’t think anyone has mentioned this, but Keebler TownHouse Crackers are on sale 2/$5. I walked in with 2 $1/2 coupons that I printed from Snackpiks when I noticed that my ShopRite had $1 peelies on all the Keebler cookies (Vienna Fingers, etc). Tried them with the crackers and they worked. Deal becomes 2 boxes for $3 using 2 of the $1 peelies. Picked up 4 boxes!

I found the angel soft coupon in their website, saying once you register we will be able to print a coupon, but I cant print the bricks coupon. It says thank you for printing but no coupon is being printed…….

Maybe you can tell me if I was wrong… I had a printable coupon for speedstick, that clearly states “manufacturer coupon” on the top. However, it had a little “available at Walmart” logo on it as well. It did NOT say anywhere, good only at Walmart.

My wife and I are new to using coupons, we live in NJ. Yesterday we went to North Bergen, NJ- Walmart, we were trying to purchase the following items:
9 Pert Shampoo(.97 cents/each) — with (9)$1 manufacturer cpns.
2 Kraft Mayo($ 2.50 /each)—-with (2)$1 manufacturer cpns.
3 Zest bar soap 8ct. ($2.98/each)—with (3)$1 manufacturer cpns.
On the check out…trying to use the coupons with the items, the cashier/supervisor called up the Assistant Manager-Pedro, and he told us that we cannot use all the coupons, we can only use…1 Pert cpn…1 Kraft Mayo cpn…and 1 Zest bar cpn. Then my wife start showing the store policy(which we have on hand) then they start arguing….we ended up returning all the items.
Cindy, is the Assistant Manager right? He said you cannot use all the coupons and that Walmart’ s policy is one coupon per purchase, meaning that I can only use…. 1 Pert cpn. for 1 like Pert item….1 Kraft Mayo cpn for 1 like Kraft Mayo item….and so on.
That is not Walmarts coupon policy. I would contact the corporate office and let them know your experience.
I know this seems annoying – but it does work and is definitely worth the effort if you go to that walmart often. i sent cooperate an email about my local walmart, and they set them straight about the coupon policy. the ast. manager called to apologize – and now every cashier knows the policy.
The cashiers may not know all the coupon rules, and they can be fired if their register is short. But the managers? They have no excuse not to know the coupon policy. You contacting cooperate makes sure they know the policy.
I live in Bayville and I saw a sign the other day about only being able to use 1 coupon per item or per purchase not sure which.
Shannon is that the Lacey Walmart that you saw the sign for? I don’t normally go there I do Toms River and I have not been there in about 3 weeks maybe.

I just noticed that this coupon does not have an expiration date on it. Has anyone tried using it? Does anyone know what the rules are on using coupons with no expiration dates?
I buy this stuff several times a week so a coupon sure would be nice…
My ShopRite won’t except coupons that don’t have expiration dates….and it only will take one PDF coupon per transaction….they keep saying that it could be copied
Shoprite purchase last night using this weeks coupon info (from the Amazing CINDY) total purchase = $140.00 I paid $73 and received $9 in cats for next trip. I usually keep my coupon shopping separate from my regular – don’t have a coupon but need it anyway – shopping. Ironically, I purchased 73 items. Therefore I paid $1 per item – this is including the items I had no coupon for. This is amazing to me. I have 4 children 18, 14, 10, 8. Hubby and I used to spend more then $800 a month on groceries. Until I discovered this site I was just rolling over extra care bucks at CVS and getting things for free. Combining CVS with the supermarket is saving me BIG $. Thank you Cindy and thank you to all the readers who post tips and info that is also helpful.

Yup you can use it on anything, it will come off your total.

Did anyone try the Fisher Boy fish sticks for .99 with the .50 coupon. My coupon said 16oz. and the fishstick for .99 were 6 ounce
Yes the coupon is for the wrong size so you will not be able to use it for the ones on sale this week.

Just sharing with my new LRWC friends… FYI – For first 50,000, go to chicken of the sea facebook page, like them, and then click on offers on the left hand side. You can print out two .50 cent coupons… free (or almost) tuna (any cos item)

Just wanted to say THANK YOU. Went to SR tonight spent $24.54 got back $7 in cats and saved $136.18. I felt like an extreme couponer lol but unlike them I got meat

Don’t you just hate when people on EC use their overage to BUY things they don’t use/have too much of because they have a good coupon instead of buying things that don’t usually have coupons, like meat.

They are on sale today only for $0.77 ea…the rest of the week you can get them for $1.00….today there is a limit of 4 so you can only use one coupon per transaction……I went earlier and I’m going back tonight….I did two transactions earlier with no problem and I’m gonna do at least two more tonight….My kids love this stuff and there really good on those hot days when it is two hot to cook….HTH

What a nightmare at SR today! I normally do not go to the Middletown SR because I have found them to be very coupon un-friendly there, however it was on my way home from Pathmark so I wanted to stop and get some things. There were hardly any packages of chicken under $4, so I ended up just getting 4 packages that were around $4 each. Also picked up 4 Reach toothbrushes for $1.19 each, 4 packages of Solo cups and 2 cans of Chicken of the Sea Tuna. Upon handing the cashier my Qs, I received an eyeroll and a sigh .. then she proceded to tell me that I couldnt use my Chicken of the Sea Qs because they were expired. Umm hello, the expiration is 7/1/2011!! I told her this, and she said, Yea, today is the 3rd! Wow .. so eventually she realised that I could use them and scanned them. Then we came to the chicken Qs. They did not scan. She told me that I had to buy the plain chicken breasts, and not the Thin sliced which I had gotten. The Q does not specify. So the manager was called over, who eventually said that I could use them. Then came the Reach Qs for $2/2 toothbrushes. She told me that I could only get $1.19 for them because the toothbrushes were $1.19. I explained to her that they were for two products and after some back and forth and the manager being called over AGAIN, I was allowed to use them. Jeez! I have never had this much of a problem before, being treated like I was trying to get away with murder or something!! I will stick to my home SR from now on and stay the heck out of that one in Middletown lol!
Oh and my Catalinas didnt print, so I emailed Catalina when I got home because there was no way I was trying to get them from the people there lol!!

1. I understand that SR will double my manuf. coupon up to $1?
2. Are there SR coupons in addition to Manuf. coupons?
3. When you get a catalina, is it free money towards your next purchase of something?

You would have to check the coupon policy of the specific store you intend to shop at. Some SR stores will double only up to $1.00 so a $0.75 would double to $1.00, and some will fully double up to $0.99, so a $0.75 Q would double to $1.50. There are sometimes SR Qs in the circular that will stack with the Manufacturers Qs. I did not have any in my circular this week, but I believe others did .. they are regional. Most Catalinas are just dollar amounts off of your next purchase, however sometimes they specify what you can use them on. For example, the Solo and Reach Catalinas are simply $4 off your next order, but the recent Suave (I believe it was the suave) Catalina specified $5 off your next “non-foods” purchase, so you could use it on deoderants, paper plates, etc. HTH!
Hi, First I want to thank Cindy for all the works she does and all couponers who contribute to this website. I have been couponing for a month now and I am hooked.
My problem was with the resolve. I went to my Shoprite and was unable to use the Resolve .75 off any product for the laundry resolve products because the pic did not have the laundry. Is this correct?
I don’t think this is correct because the coupon says “off ANY Resolve”. My cashier looked at it too but noticed the “any” and pushed it through. She told me that sometimes q that are smaller sometimes beep. If you’re up for it, take it to Customer Service and ask them.
If it says “ANY” then you should be able to use it on any…..some cashiers try to pull that on me but I just show them the word any and explain to them that it means ANY of there products and usually that works…on occasion they call the manager over but they usually just manually put in the amount….HTH
Thanks for the answer it should did help. Luckily they have the sale this week so I went straight to customer service asked if any meant any and she said of course so when the machine beeped I told her I went to customer service and she called over mgr who used his key and let them all go thru with no questions from him. I had 4 coupons of this so I got the wash and sprays and all other resolve laundry items for .29 each. Once again thank you.
