  • Anne

    Thank you!!

  • http://www.lovinangelseveryday.blogspot.com Heather

Does anyone know if the “organize in style” coupons double? I’ve had a couple of problems with coupons from the manufacturer that start with a five not doubling even though they don’t say it on the coupon. I travel a LONG way to go to shoprite and I don’t want to do it twice.

    • Anne

I dont know what the organize in style coupons are, but if it doesnt say “Do not double” on the coupon and it doesnt double at the register, they can manually double it for you. It will require the key person (I dont know what their official title is lol), but they should oblige without a problem. I have had to do it on a few occasions when my coupons have not doubled, and it only takes a minute.

      • Kerri

they’re called front end runners LOL (i’m a cashier at shoprite -_-)

    • 0246

they should double. they’re 5s and don’t say DND, so you should be able to argue the point with the cashier/mgr if you have a problem.

    • Mary

Mine did at Pathmark. Haven’t tried any of them at SR yet.

    • Carie

      Mine doubled at SR :-)

    • Denise

I had trouble with coupons not doubling at my ShopRite. It’s because the coupon now has 2 bar codes on it. If the Cashier puts her thumb over the 2nd Bar Code, the coupons will double. Make sure you tell the cashier this info before she scans it.

  • Sharon

I am new to this so what does FD and RD stores mean?

    • Sharon

Sorry. Never mind. Finally read all of the instructions at the beginning.

  • Candice

Just a reminder: If you have an entertainment book and havent used your $5 off $50 coupon, it expires on the 30th. Thanks Cindy and Happy Couponing!!!

    • lisa

i am looking for the 5 dollars off of 50 in my entertainment book and can not find it. it is 2011. please help i am trying to get a gas card going to sullivan county this weekend and i sure can use it towards my purchase thanks for your help.

      • Elle

It depends on what state your in. I didn’t buy an Entertainment book this year, but I’m in New York & I remember last year Cindy mentioned it being in her book and she’s from new jersey.

      • Anonymous

It’s on the first page I think? My book isNj. There were I believe 2 on the page for different time periods. Did you maybe yank it off withe first one?

        • nuri

i have the south jersy book
          there are 4 of them
i dont remember the exact dates they are valid, but its like every 3 months

          • shirley

I live in south jersey and I have an entertainment book. There were 4 originally. The last one starts on July 31,2011

            • Ruth

Where do you get/buy the entertainment book and how much? Thanks.

              • Alicia

hey ruth, you can get them online. right now they are pretty cheap too – shop thru shop at home they had some good deals recently too. the $5 shoprite q’s are the main reason i buy the books!

  • Kathie

Cindy, the link for the Kraft Shredded Cheese is no longer working. I am getting the following error:

We’re sorry! This link is no longer valid. Want a lotta savings (& a lotta creamy)? Try getting your coupon on http://www.CookPhilly.com by visiting the Touch of PHILLY product pages. Don’t forget, supplies are limited, so there’s only enough for one coupon per person!

    • Jen W

If you go to the link they post you can print a Kraft Shredded Cheese coupon…just printed 2 and they are $1/2 which is what she posted above…

      • Susan Z.

Jen W is right…go to http://www.cookphilly.com > products > triple cheese and you’ll see a link for $1 coupon (bricks)…I was only able to print one, but I’ll take it.

        • Kathie

Thanks ladies. Tried later on yesterday and was able to print them off.

      • shirley

        I just printed one too

  • Ashley

    Thank You, Cindy!!! :D

Does anyone know is there are any coupons for the Francesco Rinaldi sauce?? This is my favorite sauce and it’s very hard to find coupons for it. :( Ive tried writing to them and they said they don’t send coupons.

    • Andrea

They are hard to come by but I do find coupons for their “to be healthy” version of the sauce. I usually wait until it goes on sale for .99 then I call and special order a case or two to stock up!
Hope that helps you…it is great sauce…my favorite too!!
      Andrea

      • Ashley

I love the ToBe Healthy kind, as well! I just wish there were more coupons for it. I remember there were some in the Live Right books, but I think those are expired. Great idea about ordering a case!

        • Ashley

          They are 10/$10 this week.

          • Toekneeface

There are $1/2 in the current Giant book which is Giant’s version of Live Right. I forget what the book is called.

    • DianeG

I agree with Andrea. Francesco Rinaldi only seems to have coupons for the “To Be Healthy” variety. I do the same thing, – order a case or two of the “No Salt Added” Francesco Rinaldi when they go on sale for .99. Since no salt Ketchup is so expensive, I doctor up the FR sauce with spices and a little paste to make no salt Ketchup.

      • Ashley

That’s a great idea about making ketchup from it. Never thought of doing that! Thanks for sharing!

    • Dessa

The Stop and Shop version of liveright has a $1/2 Coupon (mfg)

      • Ashley

        Do you have a link?

        • Dessa

You have to grab it in store.

  • Lynn

For those in Bucks County PA: Does anyone know when the Warminster SR will have triple coupon week again? It’s been a while, and I would LOVE if it were this week! Thanks Cindy for the matchups!! You are the best!

    • Sam

Heather, the Qs in “Organize in Style” will double…starts with 5.

    • jennypenny

Lynn, does your Shoprite double to $.50 or $.99? My only doubles to $.50 (fairless hills) but some weeks it would be worth it to make the trip to Warminster.

      • Jane

My shoprite in bensalem doubles up to $.99 but i work in jersey and there they fully double so i shop there. theres a link on this website for which shoprite doubles .

      • Lynn

@jennypenny: Nope, they do not fully double. So a 0.75 Q only doubles to $1.00. But I guess triple coupon week makes up for all the deals I miss! ;)

  • http://www.lovinangelseveryday.blogspot.com Heather

Muir glen tomato sauce is .99 cents according to the website. Tomatoes are included according to the posted list.
There was a $1 off one muir glen product coupon on the companies website.

    Please leave some for me.

    • Cindy

Oh I meant to add that in. Thanks for the reminder. I will also be adding some more items tomorrow morning once the new prices switch over.

      • Nicole

I checked in the flyer online for West Long Branch and Neptune and didnt see this tomato sauce listed anywhere. Where is it on sale?

        • Claire

I couldn’t find it on sale at my SR in West Chester, PA.

          • http://www.lovinangelseveryday.blogspot.com Heather

It’s not on sale. It’s regular price. 99 cents for an 8 ounce sauce or tomatoes. According to shoprite.com, they have it in stock.

It IS organic, so it may be in the natural foods section.

  • Arizia

    Thanks!

  • desiree

    Cindy,
not sure if it’s regional or not (i’m in west chester,pa) but our sales ad says the gas deal works at $75 before the face value of coupons, but AFTER the doubling or tripling of coupons. Please let us know if this works for you. Thanks:)

    • Cindy

If you click on the link to the information post about the deal you’ll see my explanation about it.

  • Erin

If anyone knows of a Shop Rite in Northern NJ that does fully double coupons please let me know. I’m willing to drive further (especially if Shop Rite is giving me the gas card!)

    • 0246
    • christine

      HI,
Shoprite in oakland fully doubles up to .99. This store has taken over an old movie theater, so the set up of aisles is a bit odd.
But shoprite in lincoln park doubles up to .99 &&& triples coupons up to .50
      That means a .50 coupon becomes 1.50 & a .99 coupon becomes 1.98
Both stores do not double coupons that say do not double. They carefully check each coupon. Rarely do they miss one, even the young male cashiers.
Lincoln park will accept 4 like coupons but has a max of 20 coupons per check-out total. Don’t try two orders, you have to leave the store and come back in. But I save a lot of money shopping there. It’s very friendly, overstaffed & clean.
      Happy shopping!!

    • kabby

Erin… Hillsdale and Emerson Shoprites fully double up to .99 cents. Pearl River NY also fully double up to .99 cents.

    • annie

Wayne fully double…bring a quarter for your cart!!!

      • Kim

Both the Brookdale (Bloomfield) and Nutley Shoprites fully double. Both are excellent with accepting coupons! May be a little far for you though!

    • RJ

Hackensack, palisades park, englewood and Paramus double up to 99 cents.

    • jennifer reinhardt

West Caldwell fully doubles coupons up to 99… a 99c coupon become 198….if you were ever to have such a thing… they also accept stop and shop coupons!

    • http://mydailyswag.blogspot.com loretta

jersey city, hoboken, and columbia park (north bergen) stores all fully double

      • Erin

Thanks All – I didn’t word it right. I was looking for a store that fully doubles beyond .99c. So meaning a .75c becomes $1.50 and they give you the overages. So if the item purchase is .99cents and I have a .75 coupon I want the extra 51 cents to come off somewhere elese.

        I know – wishful thinking.
Wondering where the magic store that does that is?

        • 0246

you have 2 different issues here.

many shoprites fully double. fully double means a 75c off coupon becomes 1.50 off. there is a list on the website of fully double stores.

overage is a whole other thing. shoprites policy is to not give overage, period. some people will find that they can get overage some of the time, but it’s not something you can predict or plan for, as the chain specifically prohibits it. walmart gives overage, if you’re only interested in getting an overage store; they don’t double coupons however.

          • Erin

Ok thanks for the clarification. Bummer about the overages. I’m slowly learning the lingo. Is it posted somewhere on this site which stores do give these “overages” – ie stop and shop, a&p, pathmark etc.

            • 0246

no worries, it gets easier as you learn the language.

really the only store that has a policy of giving overage is walmart. most other stores expressly have policies against it, or else it’s unreliable at best. don’t despair though, it’s entirely possible to do very well couponing without getting overage at all. :)

            • Lady J

My Stop and Shops definitely do not give overage. One will not allow any coupons that make an item free. And, at least it seems, that the manager follows sites like this and makes sure they do not put out anything that would be free/close to free after coupon. Whever you normally would see the product, for that week – it is removed, shelf tag and all.

              • nuri

if its in the ad, cant you ask for a rain check?

  • nuri

nice matchups – thanks again cindy

  • April S

    Thanks! Great matchups as usual.

  • Joan

    Thanks Cindy!

Does anyone know if the Wise coupon ever resets? I printed it at least two months ago and haven’t been able to reprint.

    • Michelle

Sign up for emails from Wise. About once a month they will send a coupon in the email for .75/2.

  • http://www.lovinangelseveryday.blogspot.com Heather

I got two catalinas from shoprite for $2 off 5 gm cereals. Do these stack with manufacturers coupons or are they actually manufacturers coupons?

    • Jen W

Catalinas are manuf coupons, so no you can’t stack them

  • jen

Did anyone receive the Jif to go free coupon from target in the mail? I’ve been to 3 targets and none of them have it. Just wondering if I can use it at shop rite, it’s a manu coupon but has redeem at target on it. Just courious since I’ve seen it at SR this week.
    Thanks!!

    • Jen W

Redeem at must be redeemed at the store listed. If it said “available at” you can redeem it anywhere

    • Anonymous

I saw it in walgreens this week for one dollar.

    • kabby

Jen.. I redeemed my at Walmart no problem.

      • Jen W

Just because a store takes it doesn’t make it “no problem”. You are supposed to use the coupons according to their terms. Redeem at is the place you are to cash it in at. Walmart may not get reimbursed for it, since they clearly aren’t Target…

        • kabby

I read the coupon as “can be redeemed at Target” “not redeemable at Target only.”…the coupon was scanned and the computer accepted it…not trying to defraud any company….thanks!

          • Kim

That was a “manufacturer” coupon so it’s fine to use anywhere :)

          • Jen W

Just going by what has been posted here previously about redeem at vs available at…

        • Jennifer

Walmart accepts other store’s coupons. They take Target printable coupons, so why not this one?

          • rachel

I used mine at Walmart because every Target I checked didn’t have it. It is Walmarts policy to price match/accept competitors q’s, so its fine.

  • lisa

i got my answer it is not in my NYC book some jerseys book shave the 5 for 50 dollar coupon thanks

  • Rachel

Thanks for the match ups! I look forward to them everyweek!

Sadly, the earth’s best baby food coupon is no longer available. :(

  • Jen

Thanks so much for the match-ups but it seems like there are numbers everywhere now with the sale prices along with the RD and FD. It’s so nice of you to take the extra time to add that in but its also unfortunate that so many people do not read the first part of EVERY match up and realize that you were doing the match ups with double coupons. Thanks again Cindy for all your extra energy!

    • Cindy

Do you think it’s too much? It’s my first time doing it that way and I would rather it not be too busy.

      • 0246

I’m not Jen (er well … I am Jen, but not the Jen that posted this. Funny!), but I don’t think it’s too busy. I thought it was fine the ‘old way’, but then I have a fully double store, so I’m biased, haha!

        • Cindy

I took a survey in my house and they hated it. So, I changed it back. LOL

          • Jen W

It wasn’t too busy but for the beginner, it might have confused them more than they already are :)

          • tara

wish it would be almost free for stores that don’t double at all :(

      • April S

I agree, it must have taken so much extra time to add all that in. The new format doesn’t bother me, I think doing two deal scenarios (one for FD and one for RD) may be too much though, it took me a second to process it. My honest opinion is I think it’s just too much work on Cindy’s part when we know people still aren’t going to read before posting. :)

        • Jen W

LOL April!!! I agree with you!

      • Jen

In my opinion, I thinks its too busy. Once again, it is so kind of you to take the extra time out to do this but there were too many numbers and prices to look at. I’m glad your deciding to change it back. Thanks again :)

  • http://chavezies.blogspot.com Jessica

There is a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser coupon in the Organize in Style magazine as well. 0.75/1 Magic Eraser that doubles, which I believe is also apart of the gas deal.

    • http://www.lovinangelseveryday.blogspot.com Heather

there are a bunch of mr clean coupons in that book, and it looks to me like they are all part of the deal. The coupons make the cleaners something like .95-$1.10 (I’m not opening everything back up to figure it out exactly right now.) should be a good deal, too.

    • Lori G

Also, printed on the inside of the Magic eraser packages are coupons for various P & G products!

  • Sandra

Love this site! Thank you for all the hard work.
I just came back from Shoprite and saved over $50 in groceries; I’m sending an email to the manager of that store thanking them for the nice coupon policy they have. I’m hopping that if the manager hears that people are happy they will not change the policies. ;-)

  • Tara

    Redpack NLA

  • Aimee

I am trying to print coupon and the instant potato one only printed 1/4 of the coupon and i couldn’t go back inot print again. The kraft cheese one said there were no more left. I will let you know if there any more that do not work.

    • Christine

I could not print any of the mashed potatoes :( too bad, they’re yummy!

    • Jen W

go to the website that the link for the kraft tells you to go to…there are coupons there for the same coupon…

      • Kate

Not working this morning — at least not for me :( I get there and there is a button to hit to go to the coupon, but it goes no where. Tried explorer and chrome with no luck.

    • Anne

I just printed them. I cicked the “Print coupon” button on the top of the page that this link takes you to, and filled out the form. It comes up as a pdf, so I printed 2.

  • Emily

    Hey Everybody,
Just did a transaction at Shoprite here in CT and my gas points I earned was taken from the original price of the items I bought! Good luck!!

    • Jess

Yes!! I just came back from the one in Enfield, CT. I got my gas card, all the gas points were calculated from the shelf price too. I ended up spending about $30 OOP to get the $25 gas card!!

Also Herbal Essences Shampoo is on sale for $2.88. Its part of the gas card deal (shelf price $3.49). When I went there the Herbal Essences Stylers were also part of the sale for $2.88 (shelf price $3.49).

I was able to use :
      (2) $1/1 Any Herbal Essence or Aussie Products, (6/12 RP, exp. 7/31) and (2)$3 off ONE Herbal or Aussie styler when you purchase One Herbal or Aussie product, (7/3 P&G Insert, exp. 7/31).

I paid $3.76 OOP and was able to add $13.96 for the gas card deal! Hope this may help someone. Good luck!!

      • Jess

Ahhh, I think wrote this wrong “ended up spending about $30 OOP to get the $25 gas card!!” Should have been I spent about $5 OOP after factoring the $25 the gas card. Sorry, I’m just a proud couponer. Love this site!!!

        • kabby

Thank you for your matchups I think that deal works great for me…I was trying not to get more cereal …the past few deals have generated my family a sufficent stock of cereal…I was in the need of cleaning products and personal items. Thank you.

  • http://palmervalora@yahoo.com Valora

Just a heads up for those of you that shop in the Glen Burnie MD Shoprite. Rumor has it that is is NO LONGER a fully doubling store. I have not been this week but have gotten the information from some who went this morning. I am SAD.

    • Jane

I went to the Glen Burnie, MD store on Wed and all my cookie crisp coupons fully doubled.

  • Lori G

Athenos bogo printable no longer available….$2 off olay total effects body wash no longer available

  • CHRISTINA

    THANKS!

  • alicia

Got a catalina ad today that said dollar days are coming July 31!

    • Lisa

Ooooohhhhhhh can’t wait, as much as we all love these im sure Cindy is cringing at the amount of time the match ups are going to take!!

      • Cindy

LOL, my first reaction was OH NO! Hopefully I can get an ad early and start on it during the week because Saturdays are just a killer :)

    • Anne

Forgive the stupid question, I havent been couponing for that long yet .. what are dollar days?

      • LK

Dollar days means you get coupons for future orders when you spend a certain amount of money on certain products.

  • christina

Just a heads up… I went to the Bound Brook, NJ shoprite and they had a huge stack of coupons for $1/1 Coffee Mate Natural Bliss Exp 11/2011! Don’t know how much they cost, but these would be nice for a sale. ;-)

    • christina

oh, sorry. forgot to say they were at the customer service desk. :)

  • Jenna

Thanks for the matchups! LOVE your site! None of the smartsource coupons would print for me. :(

    • Aileen C

I have a problem printing SS in Firefox, but they will work using IE.

    • Allison

google chrome always works for me.

  • lexy

i don’t get why the cookie crisp .75 would only double to 1 dollar?

    • Kathie

It depends on your local Shop Rite coupon policy. Here in DE, all 4 Shop Rites only double the value of a coupone up to $1.00. If I have a $0.50 coupon, it doubles to $1.00. If I have a $0.75 coupon, Shop Rite will only double it $0.25, making the total of the coupon + doubling, $1.00.

    • TM

That was the example for a regular double store..

    • teresa

ME NEITHER… I LIVE IN NJ AND THE STORE I GO TO ALWAYS DOUBLES.. PAST $1.00….. BUT IM CONTENT WITH THE $4.00 PUT TOWARDS MY GAS CARD…

  • Sherry Z

    $0.55/1 Kozy Shack Product printable

    This is a DND.

    Thank you.

    • Aileen C

Does the bar code start with a 5 or a 9? If it starts with a 5, it will double automatically.

  • Natasha

Hi. I used the Olay Scenario to get the gas card deal. But has anyone filled out the redemption form yet? It asks for the price, so should I put the price after coupon or before. This is my first time ever sending in one of these forms so I just want to make sure I do it right.

    Thanks in advance

    • Cindy

You would put the price before coupons.

      • Elaine

I did this deal for Olay by itself, and AFTER coupons w/ tax it comes too $49.19. Since I have to submit the receipt I am wondering if they are going to accept it since you have to purchase $50. Thinking i should just go and buy 1 more product to be on the safe side.. Your thoughts????

  • Jack

Can someone please tell me how I can get Target coupons mailed to me.

  • teresa

hey by the way… i just left shoprite… i have bogo coupons for febreeze from the P & G from 7/3…. and BOTH PRODUCTS COUNT TOWARDS YOUR GAS CARD…. HAPPY SHOPPING…. AND I BOUGHT COOKIE CRISP… AFTER COUPON WAS $1.49…. I RECEIVED $4.00 TOWARDS MY GAS CARD… JUST AN FYI!!!!!!

    • lisa

here is my question i just called shoprite 3 different times and asked them if i put 75 dollars worth of the participating hershey and genaral mills and frito lay and proctor and gamble in my cart then used my coupons for the discount, they told me i have to buy like 100 worth of stuff then minus my coupons, but i have to pay 75.00 for the 25 dollar gas card that just does not make sense to me, i should be anle to purchase 75.00 worth of the product then they take away my coupons and that is the price i pay. i see someone already did it above.

      • nuri

the official policy says that its what you pay + face value of the coupons that goes towards it (but people have been doing even better then that)

        so a $2 item with a 50c off coupon
you pay $1 and then 50c of the coupon counts
the 50 cents that shoprite doubles is not supposed to count.

however it seems to be working on pre price plus prices
my suggestion is try it on 1 item at your store, and see how it works

        • teresa

@lisa… despite what the “official policy” is… what IS HAPPENING..is that the retail is going to the gas card… even BEFORE PRICE PLUS… just buy one of the cereals… for instance.. cookie crisp.. then check your gas points.. it will have added $4.00… the retail of cookie crisp… ive been doing this all week… i spent $20 on a $25 gas card.. i used bogos from p&g 7/3 and that helped things along easily.. in total the value of things i bought was over $200… i paid $25… and im working on a second card with my moms price plus… ive spent $17 and have $66 in points…

  • Meredith

Has anyone tried to use the manufacturer coupon from the acme circular for 5 free Powerade when you buy 10? I would like to know how it went using this particular coupon. Thanks :)

  • Kathie

I was just double checking, and this is the first time my Shop Rite has a different price then the one you use. The 2000 Flushes here in DE is priced at 2/$4. I’m headed up to Jersey later this week and am half tempted to pick it up there, I just don’t like the fact of having to pay sales tax.

    • Jen W

You’re looking at .11 cents in tax vs .36 savings…

      • Kathie

Thanks! Definitely going to be visiting ShopRite on my visit this week.

  • Lexy

Rochelle park, Lodi and Paramus fully double coupons

Question about how the Gas Card is calculating:

I had a rain check from when the Charmin and Bounty were $9.99 last time. I bought 2 of each and had 1 $1/2 Charmin and 2 $1/1 Bounty. The total before coupons was $39.96 and my receipt says 39.96 towards gas. Is my store going by PPC price, or did my rain check mess things up? It’s cool because I was able to get the 24 + 6 free roll pk Charmin for the 24 pk price. And the paper towels was shopping I was doing for someone else.

  • Diane R.

Hi, I have a quick question that I’m sure someone here knows the answer to. I had printed out 2 of the Nabisco “save $1.00 on Nabisco cookies when you buy a gallon of milk”. Can I buy 2 of the Chips Ahoy cookies and a gallon of milk and use the 2 coupons? Or do I have to buy 2 gallons of milk? I guess what I’m asking is if buying 1 gallon of milk fulfills the “when you buy milk” requirement on both of the coupons. I think that the coupon actually only attaches to the cookies, but I’m not real sure. Anyone?

    • Allison

Each coupon states that, so I would think you have to buy two gallons.

  • Ashley

I was in Shoprite in Washington NJ last week and the cashier told me that they were changing their coupon policy soon so “people won’t be able to stock up and take advantage”. She wasn’t very nice needless to say. Anyone else hear anything like this?

    • Valora

Mine changed this week. No longer fully doubling.

      • teresa

i live in vineland and both shoprites no longer double past a dollar… before a 60 cent coupon would double to $1.20… now just a dollar… sucks to be shoprite because our ACME… does double fully…. and all my dollar coupons are going to walmart…. sad to say will no longer be a faithful shoprite shopper… i have 4 sons to feed and those pennies add up quickly!!!

        • http://www.livingrichwithcoupons.com/2011/06/new-1-501-scott-tube-free-bath-tissue-coupon-shoprite-deal.html jenn

hi teresa, I also live in Vineland.. I didnt know acme fully doubles.. They double all coupons up to .99? So if I have a $.99 coupon that will become 1.98?

          • teresa

@jenn… i honestly dont know… i have been doubling 85 cent coupons without difficulty…. making them $1.70… and the shoprite on landis.. used to double fully… and the one on delsea was up to $1.00…. according to one of my favorite cashiers… she said the owner of the store changed the policy and called it cashier error…

          • Jen

I live in Millville…didn’t know that ShopRite ever fully doubled! The one here only does up to $1.

  • Allison

has anyone found if they are going by the Pre-Plus Card Price or after the Plus Card sale is accounted for?

    • Valora

Mine in MD is the shelf price. And I had some Olay that was on clearance so look for that. I have almost 70 so far towards my gas card and have only spent 20.

      • Allison

very nice! I’m in CT and hoping it is the same. Trying to plan out my trip. :)

  • jorasmom

:( My three neighbors and I in southern NJ appreciated the “RD” designations since the FD deals do not apply to us. Thanks for the effort.

Also here in southern NJ, my two stores told me the deal was just for gas cards this time – no substituting for SR gift cards, as in the past. I don’t know if anyone else has ever done that, but both stores said it would not be an option this time. I emailed them just to be sure:

Thank you for your inquiry regarding our “Free Gas” Promotion. We appreciate the opportunity to respond.
I’m sorry but this is limited to gas cards only. If you qualify, you would only receive a Hess, Gulf, Shell or BP gas card.
If we can be of any assistance in the future, please let us know.

    Sincerely,

    • jeanine

Last time I requested a shop rite card at 2 stores and was told that I could only get a gas card for one of the 4 designated stations. This was in central NJ.

      • cheryl manna

Hi guys, I haven’t gotten the $25 gas card yet but am almost there. I re-read the programs definitions and it states that if you do not have one of these gas stations in your area, you can request a gift card. Now I guess the sticking point is the definition of “area”. I do not have any of these stations in my immediate area, but if I am willing to drive 8 miles out of my way in the opposite direction, I can find one. I am hoping for the $25 Shop-rite gift card. That money will be better spent and bring back a better return on my dollars.

        • Valora

I was able to get a ShopRite card since I had to travel a few miles to the nearest station. Good luck.

  • SG

I know that a lot of supermarkets are changing their coupon policy to no doubling or limiting the amount of coupons you can use per order. I wanted to see if anyone here would join me in sending emails out to the managers or corporate offices of these supermarkets. We need to let these people know that using coupons has become a way of life because of the economy. They need to understand that without this help many of us would not be able to feed our families.
It might sound a little strange but if the public talks the companies have to respond and if we can stop them from changing all these coupon policies we all benefit from it. I know for a fact that many stores only receive emails when there is a problem not when they are doing something good. Meaning that many do not even realize how much there business might be affected if they stop doubling or limit coupons.
It only takes a minute and if we all did it we might get the results we want.
    Thank you,

  • Mathew

anyone know if it’s cheaper to buy bounty and charmin at Costco or SR when there’s a deal like this? I can never figure it out because they sell different versions and different sizes.

    Thanks!

    • Lady J

Toilet Paper 24 = 57 math is crazy. You would have to find out the price at each store, and the amount of sheets per pacake at each store and find out the price per sheet (not roll) to get your answer. I have never done the math comparison with Costo – but I would imagine that SR would be cheaper, especially because it is on sale and you can use coupons.

    • ANONYMOUS

I was wondering about that too as I shop at both places!

  • kabby

Tetley Tea….There is an additional coupon for Tetley Tea $1 off 2 in Smart Source 6/12

  • kabby

Has anyone successfully done the Beyers Ice Cream deal?? Curious if the Blast version is included? Thank you.

  • kabby

correction….I meant EDY’s DEAl not Beyers.

    • Aileen C

Breyers Blasts wouldn’t be included since it is Edy’s.

  • Teresa

I just wanted to add that the Bounty Basic 6 roll of paper towels is also $4.99 and there was a coupon a few weeks ago for $1 off 6 rolls or more – and this is also included in the gas deal. Also, I wanted to comment that although I sometimes have unpleasant cashiers, this past weekend at the Linden, NJ shoprite my cashier was wonderful, even after she saw all my coupons. I found the Stoneyfield 2% milk there for 99 cents and I had a CAT for $1 off – and when it beeped I pointed out that the milk was for less than the coupon and SHE THANKED ME for telling her and she put it through with no problem, didn’t call her supervisor and was just all around pleasant.

Does anyone know if the johnsonville burger coupon works on the sausage links too?

    • Aileen C

If it specifically says burgers, then no, you can’t use it on a different product.

  • Sherry

Has anyone used the pringles coupons listed above? I’m skeptical because they are for snack stack, which are the small packs not super stack which is advertised (super stack is a larger container of pringles)… My kids love pringles! :D

  • Chrissy

Can’t find the 75/1 Cookie Crisp cereal or the $1/2 General Mills cereal coupon through the link given….In need of cereal asap lol…

any1 have any links that work?

  • Eileen @QponPrincess

ok cindy i need some help I am trying to find the “Perdue Boneless Chicken Breast 3lb Pkg. – $4.47
$1.49 per lb” deal in my circular and i cant find it, this is a definite stock up price, so please please tell me how to find this deal

    • Ashley

i found them in the frozen meats section in a big blue perdue bag. ask customer service or someone from the meat department if you can’t find it. It’s too good of a deal to miss!!

      • Claire

Did anyone actually make anything with the Perdue Boneless Chix Breasts that you bought? I baked it as directed and added BBQ sauce the last 20 minutes. It was just ok. It was a huge piece and the directions showed you to prepare it from frozen rather than thaw it first. I wasn’t that impressed.

        • Anne

I marinaded them overnight and grilled them, and they were delicious.

        • kabby

What is great about this product is the fact that the frozen chicken breast are easily separated….you can take two out of the bag with ease and put the rest back into the freezer…no need to defrost the entire package. My family loved the chicken….my husband took one on a hero roll to work the next day.
I found these packages in the section with the frozen turkeys behind glass doors.

Does anyone know if I can use a $.35 off Colgate Advanced toothpaste for the Colgate deal?!

    • Mary

Nope, it is for 4oz or larger and the sale is on 3oz

      • reihsac

some SR stores have the 33% more free, making the coupon usable on that product.

        • Anonymous

yes, my SR has the 4 oz tubes, but they are not Colgate “advanced” thats why I wasnt sure if i could you the colgate advanced coupon.

My coupon for a free Pantene product came in the mail today (from a facebook promo a few weeks ago), and it counts toward the gas deal, so keep your eyes on your mailboxes for this one! :)

  • Maryann

quick > the honest tea ,,, I can get the coupon on Recycle Bank no Prb. but it is only for 1 bottle. How can I get 12 for .83c makes no sense to me.

    • nuri

its buy 12, and they cost 83c each
(thats what 10$ for 12 drinks comes out to each)

but you can use 4 of the $1 off honest tea coupons and make it 12 drinks for 6 bucks (50 cents each)

  • cheryl manna

Reporting in on the gas card deal. All items counted towards the deal at shelf price BEFORE any discounts, plus I used my free Pantene product card too. I was able to get the Shop-rite gift card instead of a gas card. Sweet!! Now onto Dollar Days.

    • tara

yes, i used my free pantene & $5 bounty coupon!! if only all the other sales would be as sweet :)

FYI – ShopRite in Stirling, NJ has the Joy Ice Cream cones for $.99 this week. If you still have the $ .55 coupons from about a month ago, and your SR fully doubles – free cones! Also, there was a coupon on the Joy cone display a few weeks ago for $1.00 off Ice cream when you buy two boxes of Joy Cones.

  • Alison

Just got back from Shoprite in Delran for the 2nd night in a row this week, and my experience was so terrible I would be glad to never set foot in there again. Is anyone else having this problem with Shoprite and coupons and being treated like a criminal?
Last night I went to pick up 2 water Ice. I was told that I would only be allowed to use one coupon from the newspaper as it does not scan so it is more than likely fraudulent. (Yes.. the newspaper!!)
Tonight I went with 2 internet printed coupons for water ice and was told that I would not be able to use either of them as they do not scan and must be fraudulent. I ask that they be backed out of my order and got a lot of attitude.
As I was leaving I had another question about my order as the numbers seemed off. (The total ended up being thrown off because the rest of my math was dependent upon the waterice to make a $10 purchase, which is fine and my error I should have had them back out my entire order.) However, when I went to inquire on this the girl that helpped me was talking loudly to another cashier and customers about how she just had to deal with more fraudulent coupons. (REALLY????) Funny enough, yet the cashier she was talking with saw me and said her? I helped her last night with a fraudulent coupon. To which brought me after I was assisted with my ticket to being told that obviously I have a problem with trying to pass fraudulent coupons and to not return to shoprite with any more fraudulent coupons. SERIOUSLY???
Now here is the deal.. the coupons have the new bar code, I explained this to them, the internet and the newspaper ones. I ask when their system was to be updated, she said she didn’t know but all coupons that do not scan at Delran Shoprite (This is what I was told) are considered fraudulent and will no longer be accepted even if it is over the barcode issue.

    • Diane R.

They actually said the Luigi’s Italian Ice coupons from the Sunday inserts was fraudulent?!! That is just insane! And accusing you of using fraudulent coupons in front of another customer is nothing short of slander! You should definately contact SR corporate and report that to them. Explain about the new barcode just in case whoever reads your email isn’t familiar with the new codes. They definately owe you an apology, if not more.

I have 5 of the Luigi’s newspaper coupons and was planning on using 4 tomorrow. Has anyone else at any other SR had this same problem?

      • Alison

        Diane -
I did look up shoprites coupon policy and you can view it here: http://www.shoprite.com/cnt/CouponPolicy.html
As angry as I was about my 2 last visits. If you read the policy especially #7: “7. We do not accept coupons that have been identified as counterfeit and reserve the right to refuse any coupon that appears to be fraudulent. Coupons displaying signs of gang cutting or similar cuts and tears, coupons bearing tape, coupons in mint condition, and coupons bearing sequential numbers may suggest coupon fraud” these cashiers with the attitude about couponers seem to only be acting out and following the shoprite policy to the letter. I never read the shoprite policy until tonight as I checked the coupon policy a while back with the store manager, but after reading the way that policy is worded I understand why I am treated as a criminal and anyone with a non working barcode even if it is due to the system change will likely be treated that way per their policy.

        • Alison

Sorry – I meant #4 ” 4. Use manufacturer-issued Internet coupons that are legible with a valid remit address and a bar code that scans. Internet coupons that have been identified as counterfeit do not scan in our system and will not be accepted. We reserve the right to refuse any coupon for “free” product, “buy one get one free” offers, and those with a high value in relationship to the item’s price.”
It gives anyone that knows the policy including the cashiers an impression that if it doesn’t scan it is fraudulent.

          • Lovingmynewhobby

Sorry to hear about that..but i too have had my fair share of run ins with cashiers/managers…and it comes with the territory unfortunately…The nasty cashiers, angry customers behind u, and the rude managers that never explain to the customers what the issue is…they rather talk over you to the cashier in a nasty tone (of course they are directing it towards you)..i would have been outraged had that been me….i would def be contacting someone not only at corporate but a regional manager as well..the nerve of some ppl..

      • Jessica

I was planning to use the Luigi’s coupons tomorrow, now I am nervous!

        • anon

I was informed that the coupons with the new longer code work only on the regular registers. They won’t scan at self checkout or customer service; because those computers haven’t been updated yet to accept the new coupons. This was @ the Hainesport SR

        • love couponing

My shoprite let me use four luigi coupons, they had to put it in manually. For some reason it’s not scanning. Was able to pick up 12 boxes so far this week. Cashier said, none of the luigi’s are scanning.

      • lab

I used 6 of the coupons…they took them all and doubled them at Shop-Rite!

      • Alison

        Diane -
I called the main shoprite number this morning. I was told it is not their problem the employee was just following policy.
They will however send a case file to the Local Headquarters for that store for review. However, it seems like per their policy if it don’t scan it is considered fraud per their cooperate headquarters.
        Great Customer Service… NOT!

        • Diane R.

Hi Alison, I’m glad you called corporate just to voice your complaint. I have no problem with them not accepting your internet coupons that didn’t scan. That is definately their right. What I found unacceptable was in regards to the newspaper coupon that the cashier and customer service saying in front of another customer that you had used a fraudulent coupon. If they didn’t want to accept it because it didn’t scan in THEIR store, that is fine. If they want to think it is fraudulent in their own minds, fine. But to say in front of another customer that you had used a fraudulent coupon is NOT fine. You are a customer and should be treated with courtesy and respect. That just goes without saying. So that is the issue that corporate should deal with -that you were treated with disrespect in front of another customer. They didn’t seem to address that issue very well. That just makes me so mad! And the coupon is certainly not fraudulent – I used 4 of them today at Kearny Shoprite and all 4 scanned and doubled just fine (I was very relieved!).

Some days couponing is just not easy! LOL

    • Deanna

Alison- Go to the Cinnaminson one instead- i went last night and got my Free luigis… They are great there. No problems yet.

      • Anonymous

I used 2 IP Luigis Q, 1 insert Q, and 1 Q from the inside of the Luigis box and got all 4 packages free. They scrutinized each and every coupon, but I knew I had nothing to worry about, I know all my coupons are good. They took all of them, all scanned, no problem. This was at the North Brunswick store.

      • Alison

I will try that tomorrow night. My next resort is buy a freezer lined bag and start doing my shopping in Trenton after work.
I am so angry. The shoprite I was going to is only a few blocks from my home. :(

        • Alison

          Deanna-

I went to Cinnaminson shoprite tonight. It is huge. I think it may be bigger then the one near my work that is in Ewing if possible!
The produce there is free of scars, mildew and large unrecognizable smashes. (Just picture perfect!)

I got the water ices no problem no questions ask. I mentioned to the cashier that I noticed the new bar code was not an issue there. She said yes their systems are updated. I used 2 printed coupons and 2 newspaper coupons.

I was so in awe of the cleanliness and peacefulness of the store that I bought myself and my husband some Jello temptations even without a coupon as a treat for me trying something new :)

I still love my Pharmacist Mike at Delran. He is the best! But when I go on my nightly shopping runs, the produce and convenience of not being hassled are well worth the drive further down 130 to Cinnaminson!

          Thanks so much!!!

    • April S

I went to ShopRite in East Windsor last night with 4 IP and 1 newspaper Luigi and they all scanned without an issue. My only beepers were the Beech Nut $1/3. The girl was really nice and said “Wow, you do really well with coupons!”

    • Colleen

I am on vacation in ocean city, NJ and went to the Marmora, NJ Shoprite and my Luigi’s internet printed coupons would NOT scan there either. I knew I didn’t do anything wrong (I never copy!), and I just let the cashier call over her supervisor, who after looking at the Q’s said to enter manually. I hate when stuff doesn’t work and you feel like a spectacle! But I did get my 4 free packages. I have more from the boxes I might try to use when I get home to my regular store. I had also had problems at Safeway this week with the Brownie Crunch internet coupons – their policy is if they don’t scan, they do not honor. This is the first week I’ve had so many problems! Wish they’d get their systems together!

  • lisa

Ive recently encountered problems with SR not doubling the coupons…i went to customer service and they happily gave me the extra $$$$….but it IS a hassle. I noticed if something lets say is .75 off…it takes the .75 than instead of doubling it takes only an additional .25…weird.

    • Melissa

I also have had problems recently at a Shoprite in S. Jersey (Bridgeton). I purchased Luigis water ice and Wholly fruit bars. Some coupons doubled and some did not. I then was directed to speak with the “print manager” who did photocopy the coupon policy and was very pleased to give it to me. He also told me that the store did not control the doubling of coupons, but in fact the manufacturer controlled this. He said the coupon limit for like items in 1 transaction is 4, and even though I did only purchase 4, only 2 doubled and he would not give me the difference. HE was not friendly at all and I was extreely frustrated when I left there. I feel like these stores treat customers that use coupons differently and there is no “customer service” involved.

  • Kerri

Had a issue with the Luigi’s ice coupons from the internet as well!! I based my whole shopping experience at the Shoprite in Babylon around those ices!!

They told be that the bar code was not scanning correctly and that they couldn’t accept the coupons! Insane! But as a heads up, I have a pack of Luigi’s ices that a bought from a previous trip and it has a coupon printed inside the box for .50 cents off and NO EXPIRATION DATE! So, I’m going to use that coupon instead! They better not give me a hard time about that!

I did end up getting my tabasco sauce & honest ice tea for free. I also noticed that the skintimate coupon (either the $1.50 off or the .75 cents off) will work on the travel size at Shoprite, it does not state a size, so you can use it! The price is $1.49 for the travel size. I got four of them! Made up for the ices I didn’t get!!!

  • annie

i shop in Wayne shoprite. so far no problems really. shelves are usually full except for sunday night, monday…. no problem doubling…have had some great cashiers…and i’ve had to wait a little for the very young (but nice) front end supervisor to “approve” the internet q’s . he comes over w/ his very importan binders containing fraudelent q’s. but so far no problems at all w rain checks and etc…however I have been going there 3-4 times a week for 8 years now. I know a few by name….sad really. i see them more than my family members…hahhahahah!!!

but this store does NOT double fully…only to free…so no overages. there was one point when they would only allow 1 item if there was a q that made it free but that was over ruled within a week. i’m thinking they heard enough crap from customers…

  • Nuri

I used 4 Internet and 4 newspaper coupons on the luigis in the same transaction.

Since they have different bar codes on them.

The manager at first said no. But once I showed her the different bar codes there was no problem.

    • Jen W

If they were for the same dollar value, they are like coupons and their policy states 4 like coupons per transaction. If they were different amounts, then that’s different and they are not “like” coupons.

      • nuri

i don’t agree. if a coupon has a different bar code, to me it is not “like”

  • April S

I don’t know if anyone else posted anything about the johnsonville brat burger coupons, but it isn’t meant for the sausage links. The picture on the coupon shows the Brat burger or the Italian brat burger…..i guess if its an employee who doesn’t care it will work. i tried using that a few weeks ago when the links were on sale with no dice. The 3 shoprite’s near me dont even carry the burgers. There $6.99 at walmart. FYI

    Hi,
I am fairly new to couponing, but I have been going once or twice a week for the past 2 months. Today in SR I had a printed coupon from the computer for .$75 off which should of doubled to $1.50 but now I was told that SR does not double printed coupons… R U Serious, I did it last week, but I guess this is something new, so I was really upset with their changes, because this never happened to me before. I am about to stop shopping here altogether because this is crazy. One day yes, and the next no. Just thought I would fill everyone in on this new change, so they say..

Really need some more luigi’s ice coupons. Don’t see them on red plum. What zip code should I use? Are they out of prints? Does anyone know anywhere else I can print them from?

    • Alison

We printed ours out Sunday night and Monday morning my husband told me he was unable to print them from work. Perhaps they only allow so many prints?

      • Lady J

One of my friends printed last night. Another one of my friends tried to print today, but the coupon wasn’t anywhere to be seen on red plum. I hope these reset.

Eeeek. Shoprite is getting worse and worse every time I go.
I had my target manufacture coupon for the free peanut butter to go pack; and the cashier refused to take it because (my fault here, maybe) i just tore the post card in half and didn’t cut the coupon. She saw how it said (not on the coupon!) redeem at your local target. I tried to explain to her its 1. a manufacture coupon, 2. does not state anywhere on the coupon that i must use it at target and 3. target by me does not even carry this product. The managers also said they wont take it, ughh… frustration. Normally I would just say okay but for some reason today this cashier already had it out against me… I also had other coupons they refused to take (from the sunday paper) she said they were cut strangely ( i use a paper cutter to save my hands from clipping with scissors) I tried to ask her what was so strange about them.. she was unable to tell me.. I asked for a manager once again!

Manager said these coupons were fine, and she said I could use them! thank god.. then when she rang them up, she hit do not double and i noticed it immediately when all of my coupons were not being doubled. I asked why and she said because she’s already had an issue with me today already….
That was the last straw for me, i asked for all my coupons back (which she was hesitant to even give me back) and walked out of the store. Left my ice cream and all on the belt.

Now let me just tell you, this is NOT the first time I have had an issue with this particular store. Numerous times they tried to tell me my coupon was expired because I wanted to used them on the expiration date! Many many times they tell me I can’t use particular coupons because it does not match the item show (for example… colgate coupon for any colgate 4oz product, picture shows 2 specific ones, they want me to buy the ones shown) also anything that says its for a free item they really are hesitant to take even if it is direct from the company, like a panteen coupon i had a few weeks ago from them directly. They said it looked fake because it had a foil expiration date. Another time, a cashier said my coupon was not for the pictured item (but said any product over 16oz wyb another product, the product pictured was the one they wanted you to buy) she refused to apply it, had not even scanned it, i asked for it back and she refused and said no because i would try to go to another register to use it……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
Some days I just wish I could shop like regular folks and not walk down an aisle calculating the sales with my coupons in my head. =/

ps. I already contacted shoprite main HQ and the company who owns the shoprite I go to.. neither cared or were even a bit empathetic of the situation.

Wow, can I ask which Shoprite this is? I have only ever used “available at Walmart” coupons at my store, but they have taken them. The cashiers have recently started to really look hard at the coupons before they even start my order, so I guess they have been getting too many bad ones.
They still don’t know as much as they should about coupons and how to use them, even their head cashiers and managers don’t seem to know. They need to take a LRWC class.
Unfortunetly, individual stores can do whatever they want to.

      • Jess

The Shoprite in Brick. Luckily there are nearby Shoprites I can go to.

        • Jen W

I have shopped in Brick with no problems, however there is one older man cashier and he doesn’t understand coupons at all! I stay clear of him, they normally keep him near the podium that’s how bad he is with them!

  • Melissa

Has anyone else got the store card instead of the gas card?

    • kabby

I asked at customer service desk if a Shoprite Gift Card can be given instead of the Gas Card and her response was sure…..I got my Shoprite Gift card.

    • Linda

Yes! Went to courtesy counter & requested gift card – no problem! Also, got my Baby Bucks certificate – it was a great day @ Shop Rite!

  • anne

yes. went to register with SR giftcard and recpt. at first they said its gas but i had a flyer from courtesy counter which in small print and the last line of the terms said: or SR giftcard.

  • anne

Also the cashier then said he did’t know. When his mgr came over she said yes its good for SR giftcard and that she also didn’t know before too! No major probs.

  • teresa

FYI… YOU CAN GET A SR GIFT CARD… JUST GO TO CUSTOMER SERIVCE AND ASK… MOST LIKELY THEY ARE VERY WILLING TO HELP YOU… AND THEY WANT YOU TO SPEND THAT $25 AND THEN SOME… AT SHOPRITE NOT AT A GAS STATION

  • Cynthia

I bought Honeycomb Cereal on sale last week and there were 5 coupons:
1/1 any one Glad, gladware, glad food bags, clingwrap or press n seal.
    1/2 Bic stationary products
1/2 packages of Goldfish crackers or Goldfish grahams

Only bad thing is that they expire 7/31/12

    • kabby
