Dollar Days deals require you to purchase XX amount of select products from a brand and then you will receive a Catalina for the amount indicated on the deal, as well as a Free ShopRite Reusable Bag. All products, for each individual deal, must be purchased in 1 transaction. The catalinas are good on your next purchase.
Here are some things you’ll need to know. These are based on similar offers that ShopRite has had in the past. They may changed for this offer. We will know for sure once the sale starts. Of course, please let us know if you find something that works or doesn’t work so we can let everyone know.
- You can do multiple deals per transaction as long as they are from different deals. Usually trying to do 2 of the same deals in 1 transaction does not work.
- You can use your catalina to pay for a different deal and still receive a catalina
- Not sure if you can use the catalina to pay for the same deal and still get another catalina (we will have to see once the week starts)

Anyone else having trouble with Smart Source? Every time I try to print one of their coupons it says something about a concurrent print attempt and won’t print anything. I have also noticed lately that I can only print one copy of each coupon, not 2 like I could before.
Having the same problem trying to print the Pompeian coupons (“concurrent attempt”)
I find I get that message if I try to print something too quickly after another print. Once I get the message, even waiting doesn’t help and I need to reboot the computer. To avoid getting that message I wait 10 minutes between printing Smart Source coupons.
with the cottonelle cat.. do you need to buy 4 to get the 4.50cat? or can I buy 3 and still get it?

Some of last week’s inserts got a $.55/1 Friendship product instead of a $1/2, making the sour cream $.59 oop!
I checked my insert and got excited cause I have .55 cents/1 but then I noticed it says do not double AND it does start with a 9, so it won’t double

Nope, you’re not the only one. I think it’s because the last time was just SOOOO great getting $12 in cats for each deal, that this time seems like such a letdown with most of the deals only being for a $3 cat. I do think the $5 Advantage deal with Folgers and Marcal and the $5 Pompeian deal are very good. I plan on doing those ones. And my husband is really happy about the $1.99 bacon too. That’s the first thing he pointed out to me when he looked at the SR circular! Stock up time on bacon!!
my b/f has been wanting BLT’s for weeks and I refused to pay anywhere from 3.50 to $7!!!! a lb. So he will be happy this week! lol

The Yourbucks emails always say limit 1 but they are usually not limited at all. Like the Loreal deal a few weeks ago, in my email it said limit 1, but I did the deal at least 5 or 6 times. I am hoping these dollar days deals are just like regular catalinas, and we will be able to do them more than once in separate transactions, but only time will tell
Last time i wondered the same thing so i had my mom use her card for a few deals i wanted doubles of and when i tried to redeem the cats at the same time they would not take them. Of course you can always go back agian and have another transaction which is what the checker told me to do.
You must use the same Price Plus Card as the number on the Catalina when you redeem.

ive been rollin these over the last few days, i got 6 rolls of marcal single roll tp on firs transaction and got 5 of the pompeian red wine vinegar, printed out the $5 for the t.p, and $5 for the vinegar,and2 shopping bag q’s. i had no q’s for t.p or vinegar, went out and put stuff in my car, went back in and purchased 6 more rolls of the t.p, 2 bags, and 5 vinegars, prnted out2 more $5 off and2 more shopping bags….and did it again yesterday, and again this morning….
I tried to use the .75 Scotch Brite Q and my Shoprite woulnd’t accept it. Said they had been receiving alot of them and that they are fakes. Anyone else have this problem?
Anything that is a pdf file, Shoprite looks at as fraudulent. I had to really fight with them a few weeks ago to give me the .75 off of Davidson Eggs because it was printed straight off of their Facebook page. This also happened with the ScotchBrite and then let me use one because it said “one per day”. I took it to a different SR and the cashier took all 4 of mine and all 4 of my boyfriends. I hate when they aren’t consistent in their policy!
try to call scotch brite monday and have them get ahold of the store to prove or just call shop rite home office to have them prove the scotch brite is real I had it in an email a while back( I did not Post the link anywhere)
I had that issue with BeechNut once, and I emailed customer service and brought the email reply back to the store with me the next time I tried to use the coupon and they begrudgingly put it through.
RiceSelect, same issue, PDF coupon, except rather than email me they mailed me $10 in coupons for thier products.

I have such a love/hate relationship with Chobani. LOVE that pineapple yogurt but their coupons annoy me. The .30/1 FINALLY reset for me after months and months and months and then it only let me print one. At least I got one!
It’s kind of a stinker because they say on their site that their coupons are limited to two per offer, but when I printed the second one, it printed out a “sorry you have exceeded your household limit” coupons. I mean, it’s bad enough that they only let you print one when they said you could print two. But then they actually wasted my paper and ink to let me know I could only print one when they said I could print two. *thumbs down*

I have never done the dollar day deal before and to me they seem pretty good. I am however upset that I can not do some of them bc I do not have the coupons. I am really excited for the cereal. We love the shredded wheat fruit in the middle so this will be a goo deal. Also what is the deal with the free bags. Will you get one for each deal or is is only one? Wish me luck I am really nervous about all this.
Last dollar days, you received a bag for each deal you completed. HOWEVER ,lol, make sure you get to SR early on the week you can redeem the bag cat, because they go QUICK!!! Have fun, don’t be nervous!! Just make you lists and do each deal separately. This way, if a cat doesn’t print, you can find out why much easier!! You’ll do great!
mine too Stephanie, but I really planned it out. Can’t wait to see my results….I should be getting 29.00 in cats back on my first trip. I plan on putting my stuff in the car and doing another small buy and get back 6.00. We shall see. I plan on getting there very early.
This week canada dry and 7up 2 liter products are on sale 10 for 10. Included in the sale is 2 liter sun drop soda. Attached to the bottles are 50 cent off coupons which when doubled make the sun drop 2 liters free. A & P ran the same sale last week!

Some coupons are regional. Your insert might not have it, but someone else’s does.
Whenever I go early (9am or earlier) I have trouble with the catalinas printing. I don’t want to go late though because then I’m afraid things will be gone. Does anyone else have this problem?
Also, there was a $1.50/1 Milo’s Kitchen printable last week I think. So if you printed it now would be a great time to use it.

It looks like the 16 oz bottle of Pompeian red wine vinegar is the same price as the cooking wine…4 for 5. The coupons that I printed out, 50 cents off one, are one any size. Same on the coupon that expires on the 31st….it’s good on 16 oz and up. So, here’s the deal I came up with:
4 bottles 16 oz red wine vinegar
1 bottle cooking wine
use:
(2) 50 cents off 1 vinegar

You did it right, and YES you can do it again…even in the same day. Just make sure the next time you do that deal, you have something else to buy with the TP…if you order is only $4.50 and you use a $5 cat to pay for it, you will NOT get any change…so throw in a tomato or something to get to the $5 total
Actually, you must buy the bath tissue in multiples of 4 to get the $0.75 price (buy 4, 8, 12…) any not in muliples of 4 will ring up at $0.95 each.

Do we have to do anything special for the Scrubbing Bubbles B1G1 shower cleaner refills? I’ve checked the link with both my and my DH’s PCs and can’t seem to find the coupon.

Just got back from shoprite and I didn’t get the Catalina for the Pampers. They had a hard time even scanning the box cause the system wasn’t switched for the new week. Didn’t have the paper that printed out last week with my receipt so will have to call Catalina marketing this week.
Annie…I didn’t get mine either and to top it off, I couldn’t find mention of it in the flier. The service desk was no help as a result. I’ll be making a call as well.
My husband tried the deal again in the afternoon and it worked. I called the store to tell them what happened and she apologized. She said she heard there were issues in the morning and to come to the customer service desk when I came back. Went back tonight and she personally apologized as she gave me an envelope with $5 oyno dollar deal printout and one for a free bag. Hope you have the same luck!
Annie….is there mention of it somewhere in the flier or elsewhere that I can bring in to them to show? I’m not confident I’ll get it unless I can show them I should have gotten it in the 1st place. I checked out at about 3:30pm and it didn’t work at that time.

I went back with the receipt and Catalina my husband received but she said it’s wasn’t necessary. She never looked at it. She actually printed everything right after the call. I received the dollar deal printout and not the pamers . I shop at the west nyack shoprite and they are always nice.

You should only use the coupon as intended. If it says it’s for the 3 pack of sponges, then it should only be used on that.
As far as I know it is the 3 pack of sponge cloths so I don’t see why it would not work.

My store fully doubles & my register receipt shows both Cheez-it Colby coupons fully doubled.
I have a revision on my OOP on the 6 Small Steps Toilet Paper which was actually 4.90 (not 4.50). The first 4 came out to be 4/3.00 and the remaining 2 scanned at 95 each for a total of 4.90. I’m so sorry for this error!

The Middletown Times – herald record had only SS in my town. I checked 3 different stores (including one that just opened at 9). I went to a CVS a town over and they had all 3 in the same paper!!
The Bergen Record was sold out at my normal place so that usually means that it had all the coupons in it. I really hate having to fight for coupons!!!
MY RECORD HAD A REDPLUM, SMART SOURCE AND A PG. i BOUGHT THE RECORD WRAPPED IN A YELLOW BAND THAT HAS TWO RECORD NEWSPAPER INSIDE…STATES ON THE YELLOW BAND “2 FOR 2 DOUBLE THE COUPONS DOUBLE THE SAVINGS” HAVE BEEN PICKING THEM UP AT 7-11 STORE.
My Star Ledger (in Mercer County) only ever has SS & P&G, never RP. NY Daily News has 2 RP & P&G today, Trentonian had Nothing, and Trenton Times has 2 RP, P&G & SS, but the SS in the Star Ledger had more coupons than the Times so I ended up with 3 SL (1 delivered and bought 2 more), 3 Trenton Times and 2 Daily News – different RP than the Times. I think the people at Wawa think I’m a little crazy for buying so many multiple papers:-). I wish SL would carry RP and then I wouldn’t have to buy so much. Actually I wish there was a way to order, subscribe, whatever to just the coupon circulars. I hate how much paper gets wasted from buying so many newspapers. We recycle it, but still, that it is a lot trees and energy wasted in papers that no one is reading.
Star ledger has the redplum on Thursday. When I got the Sunday delivered, they included thursday for free and it had redplum and all the grocery store papers in it. But if you buy the Thursday at a newstand, it won’t have the redplum!!
I get the Asbury Park press. They always have all of the coupons in it- smart source, red plum and P&G. I get them at Dollar Tree. They are $1 each.
My APP didn’t have a SS. Boooooo! lol

So I just got back from Shoprite and I think I did really great for my first ever dollar days. However it is posted here that you could use the coking wine as part of the Pompeian deal but when I got up to the register it would not let me do it. I bought 3 olive oil bc I had the coupons and had them take off the cooking wine. What did I do wrong?

For the Kotex tampons, pads and pantiliners on sale it does not include the U by Kotex which disappointed me as I only coupons for those. Oh well they are on sale at Walgreens…

I went to shoprite to get the cottonelle deal and my $4.50 Catalina didn’t print! I bought 4 12 packs and received both the $5 for the dollar days and a free bag but no $4.50 for buying 4.

I bought my 4 cottonelle at around 10am on Sunday (which is when I usually do my shopping because most people are still in church) and I got all three CAT’s; $4.50, $5.00, and the free reusable bag… I live in southern CT so not sure if it is different where you live.
Hi everyone! I had a GREAT experience with dollar days saving $130 off a $220 bill, thanks to Cindy for all the great match-ups! Just figured I would throw this out there…I did the SC Johnson Deal and bought 3 Glade Oil Refills, 2 Glade Room & Carpet and 1 Scrubbing Bubbles Mega Shower Foamer and not only did I get the $3 from the Dollar Days Deal but I also got a $1 catalina from Glade!

Yes, it’s a package with many small individual mini cups. I’ve used this coupon in the past and I keep these single packs at my desk at work for an afternoon cup of coffee. I really like them, but since they are a bit pricey, I never buy them without a coupon. I’ll get some more now. : )

Hello. I am new to Shop Rite. When the ad states MUST BUY 2 lesser or more will scan at a higher price, how is it that some of you are able to purchase more than is stated at the sale price? I am referencing DEAL IDEA for the Kellogg’s cereal, particularly Kellogg’s Crunchy Nut. Thanks for all of the information!
@ Sue, at ShopRite, if a sale states “must buy 2″, you must buy in multiples of 2, their sales usually have a limit of 4 offers, so in this case, you can buy up to 8. HTH

For the ConAgra deal, PAM cooking spray is included, even though not listed. My store had a shelf tag on the organic variety, and it pictured original pam, so I took a chance and bought 4 Hunt ketchup, 4 Gulden’s mustard and 2 Olive Oil Pam, and I got the Cat. We needed Pam, and do not need any more ketchup or mustard, so I am glad to work that in!!!

Neosporin and Bandaid only works with 10ct Sheer Sport or 30ct Flexible, Sensitive, Waterblocked or Medium 45-80ct Sheet

Yup I had a problem with the Piccolini .. I got mini wagon wheels and the catalina did not print. Gonna write to Catalina and see what they say.
Yep same here at least that is why they said it didnt print. But also didnt print out for the marcal tp or tissues 2 seperate orders. Courtsey counter did help me and print me one out but didnt even have a fail safe code so wonder if it is just my store.
The same thing happened to me with the Marcal bath tissue BUT.. I asked one of the workers that was in the aisle if they had anymore anywhere in the store and he said “yes” and ripped open the 12 pack to sell me 6 single rolls!!!! The rolls inside the 12 pack are individual wrapped with their own barcodes and scanned just fine (4/$3 and my last 2 for $.90)!!!!

yes! I did it for offer #2 in the same transaction. I also did a couple other offers, repeatedly, in separate transactions with the same PPcard.

I disagree! I shopped today (8/2) and got an even better double dip on my cottonelle. I bought 4 cottnelle 12 rolls ($6 each) used coupons to get $1 off each pack. I received the $5 dollar days catalina along with (2) $3.50 catalinas! I also scored poptarts for 90 cents per box with coupons I printed a while back for $2/3. I also got free bic soleal razors. The marcal toiletpaper deal is a money maker if you buy 12 rolls in one transaction (it will print both catalinas)

Yes you can… I did this today. I used the $10 CAT from the Kellogg’s/Keebler etc. deal that I received on Sunday to do another Kellogg’s/Keebler deal this morning and I received another $10 CAT. Not sure if this works in all areas, I’m in the southern CT area.
I bought 10 boxes of Rice Krispies at $3.49 each. Used 2 $5/5 Kellogg’s cereal coupons, so my oop total was $25. Submitted for 2 $5 cards from the Cars rebate with online codes, and $10 gas card using the UPCs. So in the end (probably 90 days from now), will get $10 in gas cards, making this deal $5 for 10 boxes of cereal—all of which I am donating to the Food Bank. Not bad!
I live in CT. I went to the customer service desk to ask what exactly was included in hte Kellogg’s deal. There were some tags on the shelves indicating the deal that weren’t in the picture, but not all of Kelloggs /Keebler items were tagged. They didn’t know. The deal didn’t work. The customer service person was really nice and gave me a store credit. I’ve been reading the other posts and apparently what actually works depends on the computer coding of each store. Any way to be sure before buying all the stuff??
Just got back from ShopRite .. spent $46 OOP and got $38 back in Catalinas (missing one $5 catalina from the piccolini, hopefully I will be able to get that one through Catalina). Two things I found worth noting .. none of the Kelloggs cereals at my SR that were on sale had the Cars 2 promo on them, so I saved my coupons for Stop and Shop where they have Cars 2 cereal on sale 2 for $4. Also, kikkoman soy sauce was on sale for $1.49, so if you have the $0.55/1 Qs they are only $0.39 each

When I don’t buy the sunday paper I buy the inserts from Ebay they are pretty cheap hope that helps.
Colgate Total….on sale this week for 1.49…my shoprite had numerous B1G1 boxes as part of this deal….as well as boxes with extra % free….making many of the boxes a 7 oz. 1.49-.35= 1.14 for two boxes .57 cents each…my family likes this toothpaste best. Better deal if you have higher valued coupons.

Cottonelle possibly still a double dip!!! I bought 4 cottonelle 12 packs ($6 each) used coupons taking $1 off each package, received $5 dollar days catalina + free bag catalina, also received (2) $3.50 catalina’s “compliments of cottonelle” I don’t know why I randomly got the extra $7, but thought I’d post this so you can see if it works for you too. This makes each package $2! Happy shopping!!!

Did anybody else receive the pampers catalina this week? I bought two big boxes of diapers $24.99 each retail. I called catalina because if you spent $25 or over on pampers a $5 catalina was supposed to print. Mine did not. According to catalina only 1 out of the 2 boxes I bought scanned as eligible for the catalina. They told me the store decides which UPC codes are participating. This doesn’t make any sense to me since both boxes were priced at $24.99 and I thought it was any pampers product regardless of the style of diapers.
I did buy 2 boxes of pampers and yes, a $5.00 off catalina printed. Unfortunately I thought the $5.00 cat that was to print would be off my next order but it says off a box of pampers diapers.
Remember the oreo’s go on Sale tomorrow so the dollar days deal gets even better. 1.99 x 4 = 7.96 minus coupons (6.00, 4 – .75 coupons dbl.) oop 1.96 + 3.00 cat.

I had the worst experience with my first dollars days. I went to the Milford, CT Shoprite today and nothing but drama… First NONE of my CATs printed so I had to go to customer service. This is where they then claimed that the cheese its do not count toward the kellogs deal and the wine, vinegar and grapeseed oil do not count towards the pomp CAT deal. Is anyone else having this issue? I spent 30 minutes trying to explain to different people (manager etc.) Worse yet they have the dollar deal tags up for those items (took picutres). Sigh. Not cool.
Question about the Kellogg Dollar Deal…It says in the circular “buy any Kelloggs/Keebler/Sunshine/Famous Amos/Murrays Sugar Free Cookies/Eggo/Morning Star to get rewards”. The circular does not show half as many of those items. Can you still get the $10 CAT if you purchase items that are not shown in the circular? When I was at SR earlier this week I had gotten the Barilla Piccolini to do the Advantage deal. I did not get the specific shape of pasta listed in the circular & did not get the CAT. I went to customer service and they explained and let me change out my box for one listed in the circular. They then printed me another CAT. Just wanted to know more before I headed out. Thanks!
Alison I went to SR and the Healthy choice soup in the cans they were 99cents
each I bought six had 3q for 1.00wyb2 and bought 4 mustards and received a
3 dollar cat.The soup was not pictured . I even went to customer service and ask them if the can soup was part of the deal and they said if its not pictured or written in the circular its not part of the deal. I took a chance and bought the can soup and it worked out for me. Today i will be trying the kellogs deal and hope it works out.

just came back from SR and cashing in on the dollar days deals. i think i did well…just gotta do all the math for coupon vs. non-coupon items.
However, i did have a little problem with the cashier not wanting to accept my coupons because she said they appeared to be “gang-cut”. has anyone had an issue with this before? i called corporate and he told me it IS a legitimate problem and that stores may not be reimbursed by manufacturers for any coupons appearing this way.
What exactly does a “gang cut” coupon look like? I’ve read that in several places regarding coupon fraud, but I have no idea what it means. I’m sort of new to this couponing thing.
