Not sure where lots of readers are from, but I have a quick question. I’m located in the Northeast, and if you’ve been watching the news/weather, we are forecast to be impacted by Hurricane Irene on Saturday night with the brunt of the storm on Sunday. Of course, if it is what they are forecasting, I will not be heading out on Sunday for my papers, but this is a crucial week with coupons with P&G coming out and all. Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this? Or should I prepare to cut my losses on this weekends coupons?
Some stores have them out Saturday. You could always go before the storm comes.
recently, we have been getting our inserts in our Saturday Delivery of the Morning Call (Pa) which kinda irks me but is nice as then i know if i have to go get more or not lol.
Most stores have them Monday morning in the back if you ask. You could also call and ask them to hold the papers for you.
Depends where you buy your papers, ask where you buy them if you could pre-pay for them and then pick them up sunday night/monday morning.
I get mine on saturday in hudson county nj (jersey city edition of the Jersey Journal)
Sarah, first & foremost you just worry about staying safe! I don’t mind at all picking up some extra papers for you & I can just pop them in the mail on Mon!! I think I will try and go Saturday morning before it hits fully. I had a momentary lapse in memory that coupons also come out then for some papers! We will just hope that I can find them. Now, time to put my couponing to the test and see how much I can save getting my hurricane emergency kit ready!! Anyone in the path of the hurricane, please stay safe! Thank you all for the advice!
