Living Rich Recipes

Each week I will be picking a coupon and deal of the week and work up a recipe around it.  This week I have used the following inexpensive ingredients:

ShopRite:

Kikkoman Seasoning Mix- FREE

Farmers Market
Onion and Baby Carrots

And, here is your Living Rich Recipe of the week:

Easy Chicken Chow Mein

This was a great replacement for Chinese take-out. It was really easy to make and probably a bit healthier as well.

Check the box to be able to print the recipe

Cindy,

Have you considered adding a link to get to all of your recipes? Just an idea!

If you go to the right side of the page, you’ll see a recipes link. That will take you to a list. But, as I’m getting more, I’m considering doing it as a list.

I made a nice stir fry with the birdseye steamer bag veggies I got last week at Shop Rite that were on sale for 99 cents but got for free as I had a coupon and added a chopped up onion sauteed. My son commented that I made better chinese than the restaurants. Little did he know it was hardly any work and a lot cheaper!!! Shop Rite has the boxes of veggies this week for 69 cents that will work just as well! Thanks for all you help with the bargains! So far this year, I’ve saved $3306 from Shop Rite this year, and that is for me and my son; plus care pkgs. for my son I ran up to in college in Rhode Island. Nice to know that just one store I’ve saved that much this year and my pantry has never looked better!
