Wow! Great trips! I need to get a move on! LoL it’s so hard to stockpile in a tine 2 bedroom apartment with a family of 4!!

    • Rachelle

I have to agree, there is not too much space in out 2 bedroom apartment, but we squeeze it into a spare closet and use storage shelving the best way that we can.

    • Maria

I agree, we have a small 1 bedroom apt & have gotten very creative with where we put stockpile items. You just have to get creative.
on a side note: I TOTALLY forgot about the Riteaid Tylenol Precise coupon and up reward! I am making a trip right now!

i also have a fam of 4 squashed into a 2 bdrm. I have the kids room closet stocked with extra paper goods (tp papertowels etc) then in my bedroom I have the rest of it. 3 huge storage shelves filled with everything from pasta to ben gay. It does take up a lot of space, but I do what I have to do to support my family on my boyfriends meager paycheck. (I swear this place looked bigger when we signed the lease…)

I don’t know if you can get one or not but I have a thing called a cansolidator. It puts the cans on there sides and makes it to where the roll but stay in place its supper easy to rotate stock that way and fits nicely on top of the fridge. It makes it to where I have more room on top of the fridge for boxes of cereal and leaves me alot of room in my cupboards for other stuff. I have lived in smaller places too and a couple of other things I found for storages was a tp holder, you can buy or make on. To make one stack 3-5 coffe cans (depending on how tall you want it) together My friend used the metal ones, make sure all but the bottom one has the top and bottoms removed. Save a few of the metal flat pieces or get (You’ll use it to hold the tp and pull it in and out as needed. Hot glue the cans that together. Get a wood dowl (sp) the length of the stacked coffee cans mine was between 1/2-1 in in diameter. Cut your saved flat piece smaller in diameter so it slides in and out easily (if I had small kids I might use the plastic lid or invest in a something else so no one got cut, just needs to be stronge enough to hold tp as you pull it out) put a screw through the bottom of the flat piece and attach it one end of the dowl rod in the center of both pieces. Buy a knob use another screw to attach this to another piece of the flat metal or plastice lid (keep it the big size, this will be the lid for it) Then decorate as you desire my friend used a bath towel (it was a wedding present) You could put regular fabric or paint it or stickers even leave it blank its just a functional item after all) Once everythings dry and decorated put tp on the seperate dowl piece slide in the tp holder, I always put mine to the side and back of the toliet it really doesn’t take up that much room. Mine held 12 double rolls and took less room than the packages. My other suggestion is one of those over the back of the toliet shelve systems. They have ones that are just shelves or ones that have cupboards with doors that you can use for storage. Our last place had no vanity or even a counter in the bathroom so this was helpful. One other idea is do an over the door shoe holder with pockets but use it for other this than shoes ie shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste this creates more space even on the insides of closets. Sorry to write a book I just know what its like to live in a tiny place and struggle for space.

  • Lashetta

I bought five Tylenol Precise Patches. Used (5) Tylenol Precise Coupons. No wonder I did not get an $10 up reward, I had to buy 1 more. The cashier was telling me that I would not get one anyway because I used coupons for the transaction. She said coupons don’t count towards up rewards. She did not know what she was talking about. It seems as though she’s always trying to get rid of me. I’ll be going to a different Rite Aid.

    • Marina

I’m trying to understand Rite Aid’s Up rewards…for the Tylenol Precise Deal, can I divide it into 2 different transactions and get $10 Up Reward??? For example you got 5 and now you need one more. So if you buy it tomorrow, will you get your $10 UP R? Thanks!

      • Meme

Marina~most of the time it will add up then you can get the up+ reward but it should say in the ad whether is has to be in one transaction or not.

    • katie

Absolutely go to another store & pick up one more, you will get your Up Reward.

  • Alice

    Katie great job 🙂

Lashetta couldn’t agree more – Picking stores & cashiers is so necessary – have one RiteAid I totally avoid now think the application required only unhappy people to apply – lucky that wasn’t the closest to my house. My local Rite Aid have a cashier there who gets excited when she sees me – says she can’t wait to see what deal I’m doing today – she’s my new best friend 🙂

  • Melissa

I have a question about the Rite Aid, why did the 5 +UP Reward print for the Bayer? And why does it matter if you do 2 separate transaction? I don’t usually shop at Rite Aid. I am planning on buying the Bayer limit 2 +Up and the Tylenol to get the 10+ Reward… any help? I would greatly appreciate it!

    • Dana

she did two transaction because you are allowed only 4 same coupons per transaction

    • Katie

This week when you buy Bayer you get the $5 +Up when you spend $15. In addition you also get $1 +Up for the first 2. I did these deals in two different stores, I have several in my town and I don’t like to clear shelves if I can help it.

      • Melissa

Thank you both!!! I’m not a frequent Rite Aid shopper (I lean toward Wags & CVS lol) but this looks like a good deal!

  • Campanita

Great Job, too bad my rite aid doesn’t have the items when I go, it is always empty. If I want to get the deals, I have to go friday at 7:00 am when they open. I live in Socal and that is when the sales start and as you know the $5 coupor for precise was on the 9/11 inserts.
Is there an xtra UPs for buying 6 buyer aspirins?

  • Dana

every rite aid i went to was sold out of the damn tylenol

  • Linda Hughes

I was able to do the Tylenol patches deal this evening at my Rite Aid, I got 6 and used the 4 $5/1 and 2 $3/1. I also had $5 in +UP rewards from last week so I paid $4.94 OOP and got the $10 RR. I think that Rite Aid tracks your spending when there is a deal where you get the RR after you spend a certain amount because I got one Bayer earlier this week and my receipt shows it at the bottom. I may go ahead and get the rest tomorrow since I have the coupons and see if the $5 RR prints. 🙂

    • katie

It will , you will need to buy 6 total to be over the $15 & don’t forget about the video value. I was only going to buy the two that I would get free after Ups, but when I saw it tracking, I had to get more. 🙂

  • Jennifer

Just wanted to let you guys know…I stopped at CVS this morning and both of our cards gave us $3 off any 2 wet & wild products…at 99 cents a piece…you know what that means 🙂

  • Doris

My CVS store didn’t let me use one CVS coupon and one Colgate Coupon on the Colgate toothpaste

  • Rosie

Can you tell me what you bought at what stores? we dont have a Rite Aid here .

  • So I have a silly question, and it is not a criticism, just a question. What do you do with 6 Bayers aspirins and 6 tylenols? Will they keep a long time? My husband and I are a party of two. I can’t see us using all of these before they go bad. I’m reluctant to go in on deals like that, because we hardly ever use tylenol and that sort of thing.

Just a quick strategy question too, I find myself limiting my shopping to CVS these days. I understand the strategy with rolling ECB’s and Up Rewards (for Rite Aid). However, I found that sometimes I was purchasing things just so I didn’t lose my Up Rewards or ECBS’s. I’m starting to think about having one store I have where I have to roll my rewards every week and then do my other shopping at Walmart and other stores where I can just buy what I need for the best price and not have to worry about losing my reward bucks for that week. The other thing I was thinking about was gas cost, Rite Aid is about 10-15 minutes away from where I work and Walgreens is out of the way for me.

    • Katie

The Bayer are only 20 count so it’s not much different then buying a 100 count bottle. Honestly, the Tylenol’s we won’t use, but when my family or friends are over I always invite them to “shop”. lol And I made money on this deal so now I have that to put towards the Kimberly-Clark deals this week. Going to multiple stores is something I choose to do, since I’m a stay at home mom I have the time to go to these stores. If choosing one store is better for you then stick to that, I agree it can be challenging spending the rewards week to week especially if you have to go out of your way. Good luck!

    • Cindy

Melissa, these are all good questions. If it is just the 2 of you, then yes, limit yourself to 1 or 2 stores. Don’t feel like you have to do all the deals. Plus, when it comes to doing the deals, decide what it is that you need and buy only those. So, in the case of multiple Bayers and Tylenols, maybe there were other things that you could pick up in place of them. Maybe your deal would be as good, but it would certainly be better then paying full price.

      • Amanda

I totally agree with you Cindy, you don’t have to go to more than 1 or 2 stores. I only go to shoprite weekly and walmart or target once every month or so. I don’t do drugstore deals because its usually not a good deal for my family and I still have a pretty good stockpile for family 4. I dont always get the best deal but I always get a good deal, esp compared to me last year not couponing YIKES.
