Are staples rewards just like ECBs?
Yes, Heather they are! I believe you have to print them out now, though. You also don’t get them right away. It takes a month or two. That’s why I hate having to put out the $14 because I’m not going to get it back for awhile. I guess it’ll be a happy surprise when I do, though!
The candles we put in our windows for the holidays run on these and are solar activated (they turn on when it gets dark) We put them in the windows in November and leave them till the batteries die around the end of January This is a pretty good deal for these but I wonder if more deals will be coming since we are approaching “the great toy season/batteries not included season” LOL!
You are right Jennifer I would hate to put out that money especially since I don’t go to staples all that often and my chances of using the reward bucks would be slim, I’d be making the trip just for this deal.

Not really that great of a deal. Last month I bought a 30 pack of AAA and a 30 pack of AA Rayovac batteries at Shoprite on sale for $5.99 each. After (2) $1 off coupons I scored 60 batteries for $10.
I am failing to understand how 60 batteries for $10 is better than free. Could you explain it?

You can pay any way you have money for it. The rewards are just like a gift card that you use for the specified amount. You will still get your rewards from the purchase if you use them.
