(10) Breathe Right 2dr packs – $0.97 each

Subtotal: $19.68

Coupons used:

-(1) $3.00 Windex starter kit (NLA)

I’m just curious, does Walmart have a different coupon policy that they let you use more than 4 like coupons? Great job!!

WOW! great job! I checked for the breathe right at my local walmart in NJ and could not find any. On top of that, the cashier was so rude and told me I could not use more that 10 coupons. So i asked… Per item, or transaction? She said per CUSTOMER! I was soooo embarrassed :(

I tried to tell her that I read the coupon policy online and she told me that her store had there OWN policy

I ALWAYS carry Walmarts Corporate Policy with me and never have a problem and as far as their “Own” policy, I would have asked for a copy of it or asked to see a manager. Next time you go make sure you print a copy of the corporate policy and find a DIFFERENT cashier! One that does not have on cranky pants;)

yeah – i am getting fed up with walmart – i went last week with my cover girl coupons and the cashier first told me she had to ring everything separately then instead of having a $1.71 overage in my favor (purchase =$6.29, coupon = $8/2) they insisted I owed THEM the money…what??!!! I walked out. It’s simple math!!!

I had a rude cashier as well until I flashed her the coupon policy. She called the manager and he apologized. SWEET! Don’t feel embarrassed, read the coupon policy and have it with you.

The crazy thing is that it was a manager! She was soooo rude :/ I will make sure to bring the coupon policy with me next time.

Always get managers names. It is not allowed by walmart for their stores to have their own policy. If you call walmart’s 800 number and tell them about your experience they will retrain that manager as to what Walmart really is about. Having names helps them correct issues with their customer service. Also was this a Store Manager, Department Manager or just a CSM? Anyone who responds to a manager call usually has someone higher then them at the store level.

Elaine, that’s when you ask for a manager! If they are not willing to work with you, walk out and leave your stuff there for them to deal with.

Where did you find the breathe right strips too? Could not locate them at all. We go thru those like crazy in the winter and spring. There’s a coupon limit in Walmart now?

I have trouble finding a lot of things at my walmart. I have to drive pretty far to get to it too, I wish they’d put one closer to my house. I’d work there just to make sure at least one person in the store had the coupon policy right lol
@mya no there’s no limit as per their coupon policy

I found mine on a strip hanging off a pallet in the middle of the aisles by the meds. My store also had a pallet in the center aisle with breathe Right regular size boxes, maybe some stores will have them there. Good luck. I only had one coupon, wish i had more!

Elaine,

I’m sorry to hear that. In my experience, stores like Walmart don’t have their own policies. I would have asked to speak to a manager, because I don’t think they can put a limit on random coupons (perhaps on per item or per transaction, but 10 coupons is pretty low!). I also want to point out that a lot of times the cashiers don’t know their own coupon policies. I used to be a cashier at Target and we were never informed and were often misinformed. I recently went to the same Target I worked at and the manager (after the cashier told me I could not use a coupon) told me they could not adjust coupon prices, which is not the case in the Target coupon policy. So even managers don’t always know what’s going on; they are just hoping you will take their word for it and hurry along in line!

I had a problem at Wal-Mart a week ago. I had a buy Dual Action Riccola lozenges and get any bag of Riccola lozenges (up to $3.99) free. Well, I bought the biggest bag I could find in addition to the Dual Action. Dual Action were around $1.76, the other bag was $3.40. She tried to give me $1.76 off and I told her no, I get the $3.40 off. I told her to read the coupon and she did and realized I was right. She actually apologized and then after all my coupons rang up, she said I had great savings!…lol

I found the Breathe Right 2 packs on a hanging strip in the health section near the pharmacy today. I only had one $1.50 coupon but was happy for that.

Stephanie October 27, 2011 at 10:20 pm

In my walmart they had the breathe right strips on hang strips in the register lines.
