Just 2 quick things– Dont forget about the $5 off 50 in your entertainment book that expires at the end of this month. Also, today I received a coupon in the mail for 1 free suave product (got mine a while ago, maybe theyre sending more)? What a great surprise!!Check your mailboxes people!! Is anyone else having problems printing out The Libby’s Canned Peaches coupon? It could just be me as I’m not that savvy.
Just a Quick note…..I love this site as well. Thank you Cindy and all the Helpfull LRWC Fans! YOU ROCK!!!! Last year I was able to save Thousands all because of LRWC.

Not sure if anyone answered this. I have 3 Nabisco cats’s can i use them all in one transaction?

Reply

Michelle October 5, 2011 at 7:44 am

The Cat says one per family, so I’ve been doing separate transactions just to be safe.

Reply

Jenelle October 5, 2011 at 8:04 am

I used two in one transaction last night and didn’t have a problem :)

Reply

Michelle October 5, 2011 at 2:37 pm

Good to know, will try next week :)

the last x i tried to use 2 together and it beeped and cashier told me it would not take, i just went over to cs and told them i forgot to give it to them and they took care of it asap:)

As long as your buying enough to cover the $$ amount, it should work. I used 2 $5 Cats last week for the Kraft/Nabisco and I just made sure to buy $10 worth of stuff. It probably beeps if you are trying to use the 2nd cat without having enough $ in product.

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how to pepsi 2-liters are only 2o cents?????

Reply

Kabby October 5, 2011 at 1:21 am

Susie…you must buy 5 to get them for $1 each…..$5.00
Coupon….55 cents coupon doubles to 1.10BUT many shoprites computers will adjust the price to the cost of the item..no overage given…so the coupons are $1.00 not $1.10 deducted….
so $5.00-$4.00(the four readjusted coupons)=$1.00 OOP(Out Of Pocket)
$1.00 OOP divided by the 5 Pepsi=.20 cents each.
NOW…if your shoprite does not adjust the coupon to the price of the Pepsi then the coupons deducted will be $4.40…..$5.00-4.40=.60cents divided by 5 Pepsi is .12 each…
I hope I did not confuse you…Good luck.

Susie October 5, 2011 at 7:01 pm

Andrew October 6, 2011 at 1:13 pm

Where are you getting this coupon? My pepsi moments thing has a save $1/2 i dont see any .55/1 coupons. Now it does begin with a 5 so i assume this will double to $1 following your overage example but it’s still confusing. (and im in NJ so i dont think im in a different region since i believe this site is based in NJ)

Reply

AmyLynn October 7, 2011 at 4:23 pm

I am new to Shop Rite and trying to figure out their coupon rules and such still, so please bear with me!
I just came back from the store and bought 7 of the rice that is on sale for .99 a piece. Only some of them rang up at the correct price and others rang up at 1.39 a piece. Is there a limit on how many sales items you can buy at the sales prices? I know that they will only double 4 like coupons but I am not aware of limits on sale items? Any advice would be great!

Reply

Jessica October 4, 2011 at 11:19 pm

@Stephanie
You can only purchase 4 of the same items on sale and after that, it will not ring up with the sale price. So when you bought 7 of the rice, only 4 would ring at .99 and the remainding 3 at 1.39. If you had the coupon for the Carolina rice, you can do it in two separate transactions so you end up getting all 7 for free!

Reply

tara October 4, 2011 at 11:20 pm

very often they limit 4 of each order, as well.

Reply

Kabby October 5, 2011 at 2:25 pm

also, shoprite limits the AMOUNT PER VARIETY…so if the sale is on brown rice and white rice the you should be able to purchase 4 of each variety for .99 cents . Did I confuse you more?? Hope not. Good luck.

Reply

Lara October 5, 2011 at 4:07 pm

They also limit the amount of “free” items. At my shoprite anyway. (Cherry Hill) I guess you could do more than one transaction, though like Jessica said. I must have missed the Carolina Q, I can’t seem to find it in my circular. We love brown rice, esp free brown rice, lol!

Reply

D October 6, 2011 at 7:53 am

it is usually 4 per variety, so if they have brown rice and white rice on sale, don’t get more than 4 of each kind. Also the coupons are 4 per type per transaction. Each shop rite is different – my SR doesn’t fully double (.75 becomes $1, not $1.50) so you have to be aware of your own store’s policy as well as the corp. policy.

Reply

tara October 4, 2011 at 11:22 pm

Cindy,
I’m not sure when it expires, but Shoprite also has a digital coupon for the Sensodyne – only the ProNamel one, which I believe is included in the deal. So there’s $1 off, as well, if it works and anyone is interested. Oh yeah, and a shoprite coupon….from somewhere?? maybe the Oct Living Right??

Reply

Michelle October 5, 2011 at 7:50 am

The Pronamel digital coupon expires 10/15, and yes, the SR coupon is from the Oct Live Right, I picked one up yesterday :) Makes for .99 Pronamel.

Allie October 5, 2011 at 1:52 am

Has anyone confirmed that p&g sale with the covergirl and crest or is the shelf price not counting as being over $25? Also, is there a way we can get two copies of our receipts??

Reply

Erin October 5, 2011 at 6:08 pm

Once my receipts didn’t print – bc it ran out of paper – I went to customer service& they printed me one – it was on regular computernpaper but was still a receipt, nonetheless

Reply

Jade October 5, 2011 at 6:54 pm

Confirmed—> did it last night, although I did 2 Covergirl’s and the Old Spice. Received my cat for the baking set. Side note, you must mail out the cat with your original receipt. I am a little nervous if they cross check the receipt with my savings/coupons. Keeping my fingers crossed :)

Q. about cellfire. Do they combine with manufactures coupons?
also if I buy more then one do cellfire apply to each product?

Reply

Rachel October 5, 2011 at 12:40 pm

You can use cellfire with manf Q’s, but they do not double and will only apply one time.

Reply

Flaka October 5, 2011 at 10:04 am

Hey. Just a couple more as i was doing my list last night
Betty Crocker Supermoist is 1.25
And frosting is 3 for $5
I found a coupon in one of my inserts for .75 off when you buy both supermoist and ready to spread icing- doubles to 1.5 then Cellfire has .5 when u buy both
so 1.25+1.67=2.92
2.92 – 1.5 doubled coupon=1.42
1.42 – .5 CF= 92 cents all together!

Also see that BC muffin mix on sale for 99 cents (or a 1.00)
Found coupon for 1.00 off 2 in one of my inserts and Cellfire has $1 off 2
making it 2 muffin mixes for free!

I took a week off from couponing, i was on coupon overload but it seems the week paid off because I can seem to get thing together alot easier this week

Reply

KT October 5, 2011 at 6:38 pm

@ Flaka, do you know when and in what insert the Betty crocker coupon was?

Reply

Kabby October 6, 2011 at 1:00 am

I had one in the 10/2 insert….small insert that had pillsbury on the cover…smartource extra.

Reply

KT October 7, 2011 at 4:48 pm

Thanks Kabby! I didn’t get that insert but I ended up buying the fun-da middles instead for a good price.

Reply

michelle October 6, 2011 at 8:40 pm

the coupon for $1 off 2 BC muffin mix and the cellfire coupon on these items is for the BOX of mix…the sale is on the pouch. cellfire will not take the amount off if you buy the pouches and the coupon isn’t valid for them.

Reply

Janelle S October 5, 2011 at 10:28 am

Question.
When its says 4 for $4 must buy for limit 4 offers, does this mean that I can buy16 of the item or only 4?

Reply

Michelle October 5, 2011 at 2:40 pm

You can buy 4 offers = 16 items

Reply

Jacqueline October 5, 2011 at 2:26 pm

Just a little FYI…the Hatfield coupon is now printing $1.00 off any product…not $2/1 which would really have been nice.

The libby’s peaches in lt syrup are 3 for $2 and shoprite has a coupon in todays paper 2 for .99. There is a libby’s coupon $1 off 2 from sometime in the last monthmaking it free.

Also the celestial seasonings tea has boxes marked coupon inside w/ 1 or more .50 off 2 boxes. This is in Atlantic county.

I have watched the Extreme Couponing Program and I am stumped. How do these people do it? My ShopRite will not accept more than 4 coupons. So how do they get 100 toothpastes and use coupons? (just an example) Also, they call and order large amounts. They buy like $1,000 worth of stuff and pay $8.00. I don’t get it. What’s worse is my husband expects the same from me! Any one have any imput on this?

Reply

Erin October 5, 2011 at 6:01 pm

Different stores have different coupon policies. Last season a lady did 18 transactions. I personally believe some of it is staged. Although some people have had really realistic orders. I also think ppl do their crazy orders just to be on TV. Who needs 100 toothpastes, really!? You’ll get an awesome order where you save a ton of money & it’ll be for things you can stock up on & will need/use & your husband will be proud! My husband hated the “couponing” in the beginning, he called it my “little hobby”, until I walked out of shop rite & made $36 in catalinas, & an acme deal paid for our sons birthday party snacks & beverages. Your transaction will come.

Reply

Jennifer October 5, 2011 at 8:22 pm

Anyone from the Tri-State area doesn’t have a chance in hell of ever doing a transaction like that. Not only are our prices higher (making it extremely difficult to get things for free) but our supermarkets have very strict coupon policies. That show disgusts me in general because there is a difference between having a stockpile, and just being plain greedy. I think I’ve only seen 3-4 people max donating the items they get. It’s insane.

Reply

heather D October 5, 2011 at 9:19 pm

Amen!! I am not allowed to do 2 transactions at my Shoprite. I even had my sister come shop with me and do her OWN transaction with her OWN shoprite card and they gave us a hard time and called the manager over who had to let us do it because we clearly had our own accounts. From now on we stay in seperate cash out lines!
I have to leave the store, then go back and shop another day, it’s a pain but sometimes really worth it!

Reply

Erin October 6, 2011 at 8:20 am

What shop rite are you at? I’m in Toms River & as long as I am not holding up any customers I can do as many as I want. That is ridiculous that you can’t do more than one. I do two almost every time I go, one for me & one for my dad who can’t shop.

Reply

Crystal October 6, 2011 at 12:55 pm

huh funny, my fiancee is the same way, “you coupon why can’t you do that, we don’t have a stockpile” well we also have 6 kids so anything I try to stockpile they eat in a week, it sometimes costs me more because the kids will eat more if we have lots of one item!!! just can’t seem to win…

Reply

Candace October 6, 2011 at 1:06 pm

Now that it is colder try hiding your snacks in the back or trunk of your car. I also hide in stuff in my bedroom or my kids and husband will eat it all. :)

Reply

I was told this by the FE Supervisor a few weeks ago at the one in Stanton. But, a couple weeks later I used some that were SS and they went through with no problems.

Reply

Nicole October 5, 2011 at 7:59 pm

Shoprites are individually owned so while a lot of people have been posting similar things, I think its up to the store. I keep waiting for my SR to give me a problem with my SS internet coupons but they haven’t yet.

Thanks so much Keena. I also shopped at the one in Palisades Park twice in New Jersey and they scrutinize every single coupon especially printable ones. I always make sure they are for the correct item but it just takes too much time with then calling over a manager, going to the back to check if it’s a valid coupon.

I was SUPER excited when I got home from ShopRite yesterday; I saved $63.20 and only paid $3.12!! :-)
4 x BD Almond Breeze $1.69 (-$0.55 coupon)
3 x Total Raisin Bran cereal $1.99 (-$0.85 coupon)
2 x Cheerios $1.99 (-$0.75 coupon)
3 x Hatfield ham steak $2.00 (-$2 coupon)
2 x Emmi Swiss yogurt $1 (-$1 coupon, $0.50 coupon)
2 x Chobani yogurt $1 (-$0.30 coupon)
2 x Poland Spring water $1 (-$1 coupon)
2 x Celestial Seasonings tea $1.99 (-$0.75 coupon)
2 x Birdseye Steamfresh frozen veg $0.99 (-$0.50 coupon)
1 Great Lakes chunk cheese $1.49
1 Borden shredded cheese $2.79
I had $2 taken off that came from my SR Family points (I had almost forgotten about that — you better check your points), and I used a $5 cat that I got last week. I had the Energizer batteries and two $3 coupons, but I had grabbed the wrong size, so I’ll get them the next time I go. I came home with a mountain of healthy foods and when I told my husband that I paid 3 dollars for all of it, he couldn’t believe it! WOW. I can’t wait for the super deals coming up next week.

I was able to purchase 4 12 oz containers of Farmland Dairies chocolate milk at a $1 each. I used 4 (shoprite’s limit) of the $1/1 Farmland Dairies Skim Plus Product printable coupons. So they were totally free. The coupons didn’t scan which I expected after reading others comments. But the manager just came over and put them through without any questions.

The hatfield ham was another item I went in for. The price was 2/ $5 at my store instead of the $2 posted so ended up paying $.50 cents each with the $2 off printable coupon. Still a great deal! There were also several that had a managers special tag on them for $1.25 each. Guess what we are having for dinner tonight? LOL Thanks for all your info! It is really appreciated

This week there is one for .50 off Chef Boyardee (must buy 2), combine that with the All You coupon for .50 off 2 (which is a double coupn). That should make it what, .25 a can? Cant beat that!

My Shoprite in Neptune NJ is very picky with coupons. Some cashiers let things go through and others pick and chose what they will let go through. A few weeks ago I used the Yoplait Greek yogurt coupons for the regular yogurts and they came off then the following week the same cashier refused them. I wish Shoprite Cashiers would make up their minds with these coupons. Some cashiers don’t care if you have the exact item others do. It really gets on my nerves.

Kristi October 7, 2011 at 10:13 am

Went to SR this morning -started talking to the cashier- forgot to enter my Price Plus Number… Went to Customer Service and they very quickly refunded me the money I would have saved. On my way home, noticed none of my coupons doubled – do you have to be using your Price Plus Card to get coups to double? Does anyone know? Can I go back and get a refund for the difference? (I am thinking no since they would have no idea if they were “double- able”. Anyone know the answers to these questions?

Meli October 7, 2011 at 10:32 am

That happend to me once when i gave them my PP card at the then of the order … nothing doubled they told me i have to give my card at the begining.
Customer serice will give you the $$ just show them they will see that the card was not applied and nothing doubled.

I noticed that the Libby’s canned vegetables are on sale this week. They are regularly $1.19 but ShopRite @ Home Spotswood, NJ had them listed as $.75 a can, but SR in East Windsor had them on sale for $.89 a can, so the sale varies store to store. With the $1/4 in the 8/28 Redplum you can get them for as little as $.50 a can. Not sure if that’s a stockup price, but I bought 32 cans for our Thanksgiving food drive.

I really hope the Carolina rice is still on sale last week, I ordered 35 coupons so we could include that in our baskets for donation as well.

My husband saw that I printed up the Farm Fresh q’s. $4.99 for mozzarella sticks – .75/1 dbl is $3.49 – which isn’t bad. He wants snacks to watch football with. Should I buy, or should I hold off to see if a better price comes along? I have seen these sell for $7 a bag regularly. However I do remember getting them for $2 and change in spring (when we discovered this brand), but who knows if the prices really do come back around.

Can anyone confirm the Hunts deal is working off shelf price? We want to send three people out tonight to buy 9 cans each for our food drive. If it works off shelf price, that should come to $10.71, which would be enough for the Catalina. Then we’re going to use that $5 cat to buy our Gravy for next week. :)

This is Bristol CT store. This is going to be a pain now because will be returning items where the coupons did not scan :(

As long as you let other people go, I don’t really think they care. I have 10. So, I guess maybe in between, I’ll go out to the car, or get on a different line. My husband ran into a cashier last weekend, that would not let him and his sister do 2 transactions even though they were from 2 different households with 2 different PricePlus cards. Weird. I never heard of that before. As far as this guy was concerned – if the 2 of you are standing there talking to each other – you’re 1 household.

So I was in Shop Rite tonight, doing 2 transactions. First one was fine. Second one, even though I gave her a second shop rite card, the girl put in the “default” card, so I had to have someone come over about that and explain that the cards were different. Then the front end manager (who has made coupon policy mistakes before, and clearly hasn’t been retrained yet) came over and said I couldn’t use a store coupon with a manufacturer’s coupon. Come on, really? So I called shop rite corporate. The woman on the other end of the phone started to laugh. I really don’t understand how it is that the store is paying them to know this stuff, but they don’t, and we do, that makes no sense to me.

I expect it from a cashier, but it drives me crazy when a manager at a grocery store doesn’t know about coupons.

After avoiding going to shoprite for weeks. I had to go to do the hunts and suave deals. The self checkout cashier harrassed me the whole time I was there. She doubled checked my coupons, stopped my transactions 3 times and found that every single time she was wrong. They should stop accepting coupons because they clearly don’t want couponers in their stores.

Hello Lisa,

Thank you for contacting Coupon Network Support. We appreciate your feedback but apologize for the inconvenience. The store should have accepted the coupon. The number they should input is the one on the right under the QR code and above the Coupon Network symbol. If you can provide the information below, we will have someone contact the store in regards to this as they are supposed to accept this coupon.

-Store Name and number
-Store Address
-Store telephone number
-Date and time of your purchase
-Complete row of numbers next to the date and time
-Total amount of your transaction
-Loyalty card number (if used)

Additionally in order to process a fulfillment we would need the following information:

Your Name and complete Mailing Address

You may also scan and attach your receipt to this email.

Thank you

WOW, I usually shop at price chopper but just recently found a shoprite nearby(nepa) so I was going to try to do some shopping there but it really seems like they give all couponers a hard time, having 6 kids that usually are with me, I don’t need more stress. You guys should all complain to corporate, then maybe they’ll start listening. In this economy, unless you have one hell of a job, you have to save money where you can and Shoprite def. doesn’t sound coupon friendly. I guess I’ll stick to P/C

I love my SR’s. I don’t usually have a problem (even with the cashiers who must read every line of every coupon – multiples too). Check yours out before your give up on it. Each location is different, because although it is a chain, particular locations are individually owned. Like at one McDonald’s a Quarter Pounder with Cheese is a Number 3, and at others – it’s something else entirely (dbl cheeseburger I think).

Unless I’m missing something it appears that the Hatfield ham steaks are $5 for 1 in CT (on sale) whereas in other states they’re 2 for $4 or 2 for $5. That is very upsetting to me.

It depends on the store. I have purchsed the Hatfield Ham Steaks at $2.00 each before from Shoprite. It was not in the circular but I decided to walk by and check out the price when others said they had the deal.

Hatfield ham steaks were 2/$5. I had a $1 Q from Hatfield facebook for each making them $1.50 a piece.

I was looking at the Enfield and Canton online circulars. All it says it $4.99 not 2 for that price. Maybe it’s a misprint. I’m going now though so I will update my post afterward.

Where are the match-ups for this week (10/9)???? Am I just overlooking it? I saw the Ad Preview but no list of match-ups, I’m confused… :\

Julie, Cindy has a family and a life too, have some consideration and give her a chance, she usually has them up on Saturday night. Cindy gets the preview up usually by Wednesday, but does not post the matchups until Saturday night.

Just noticed a few of the posts on here are very demanding. Please Cindy, most of us are very grateful for what you do and don’t expect perfection on every matchup and for matchups to be up by a certain time :)

Julie, maybe you did not mean your post in a demanding way, but it came off that way to me, FYI.

Just by putting a please and thank you at the end of your questions will make you not come off so rude.
